Your list looks pretty tuned, you should probably just playtest to try to find what works and what doesn't. One thing I notice is you don't have song of the dryads, which is just better than banishing light imo.

I tried building a Mono B zombie tribal deck with a small Liliana theme, and I tried to do it with only cards I own in my collection. In the end it was honestly the worst deck I have ever built in my life.

i used to run as many clones as i possibly could in every edh deck i built because i'd rather just copy someone else's good stuff than make a good deck of my own. plus they doubled as kill spells for legendary permanents if i needed that back then.

now i only put clones in the deck if they're really good clones (progenitor mimic) or important to a combo the deck has (phyrexian metamorph + sharuum).

One of the few good EDH cards from Amonkhet. Especially if you run some sort of Token Doubler.

So did the Kaladesh block add make more contributions to commander than standard? Seems like nearly every artifact from it has a place in any deck I'm just annoyed that Amonkhet was such a shit set but at least I got an ygo card from it

Kaladesh made the entire top three standard decks (Copycat, Vehicles, Constrictor), meanwhile it only added like two cards to commander.

What you should do I think is reconsider your stance not using partners, and try Ishai & Kraum for tax-ish effects and two flying bodies.

How safe are enchantments? I feel like answering them with removal is less common than creature and artifact removal.

Depends on the enchantments role in the deck. Mono B has no real way to deal with enchantments besides Feast of Dreams and Red has only slightly more in the form of chaos, Blue can bounce them back while White and Green can destroy and exile them. Also depends on your meta but most decks run a healthy number of removal for anything

Daily reminder, redudnancy is bad, only if you consistently have multiple pieces that do the same thing without any added benefit. Redudnacy is pretty much a necessity for any consistent strategy.

Nevermore is also bad apparently. Who knew outright stopping an opponent from playing any single card is kind of a weak effect.

Well with how people received Ajani during Lorwyn, I'd say that's a well founded concern. Not a lot of people cared for him much, the average player prefers humans and anything that's human with a small discrepancy i.e. elf ears but still 99% human, or the Soratami/Tamiyo race. Exceptions are the dragons but that's because they're badass dragons that exude an aura of power.

Otherwise don't get your hopes up for any non-human/humanoid character/protag, they're gonna be antagonists usually.

No see, this is the logical disconnect. An autistic person can say any sentence and it doesn't become autistic. Now you can (vaguely) deduce whether or not the person making the statement is autistic based on how they describe their interactions with different social situations or how they perceive emotional stimuli, or what would be as such for a normal person. But a statement itself can't be autistic because a statement can't have autism. What you meant to say was, "Your sentence was indicative of someone who has autism;" but even then it's a bit of a dubious claim because I made no mention of anything about myself that would lead one to diagnosis of autism. Please be more precise with your wording as it comes off as sloppy and careless.

Had a great game of EDH tonight at my stores league. Was playing Teysa, Orzhov Scion. Long game but a lot of fun and thankfully no degenerate stuff that tends to happen at league despite there being rules that give you negative points for certain in game actions.

Disallow is pretty highly saturated in blue decks. Heroic Intervention should be in every green deck as well.

It's almost strictly better than Clone, since getting one more blue mana isn't particularly demanding, and it's completely different from Body Double. The metric to measure the Embalm against is Cackling Counterpart, and there are tradeoffs to either.

I'll give you Heroic Intervention, but Voidslime never saw play at any point, I'm putting Disallow into the played because it's new and weird category.

How do your groups handle politics? Literally everyone in my group is a shit-flinging backstabber, so no one ever bothers making deals with anyone and deckbuilding leads to all-in strategies or you just get killed.
