I'd run a few sac outlets (Goblin Bombardment + Ashnod's Altar) and then run Firecat Blitz and Tempt with Vengeance.
Brandon Ward
Yeah after my visit to my LGS tonight, I've been think I need sac outlets. If I did, I would definitely through in tempt with vengeance.
Why Firecat Blitz though? Just because it's an X spell?
Aaron Reed
>spell that killed ulamog >doesn't kill ulamog
Joshua Bennett
>i'm a ding dong who didn't read the story: the post
Jacob Collins
throw in** fuck me
Jack Reed
I would 100% add greater good, that card is insane. Also I think you should add nature's lore, three visits (if you can justify the cost) and skyshroud claim, since those are the best green ramp spells
Kayden Cruz
Firecat Blitz has been errated. It now makes Elemental Cats. People in LGSs are going to call bullshit, but Gatherer is on your side. The flashback for Mountains is also pretty great.
Anyone mind helping with making cuts? tappedout.net/mtg-decks/g-e-n-g-h-i-s-k-h-a-n/ I want to add Vizier of Many Faces, Cryptbreaker, Vengeful Pharaoh, Craterhoof, and Greenwarden of Murasa. Thinking of cutting Think Twice, Shriekmaw, and Cagebreakers.
Christopher Johnson
I think what you cut ultimately depends on what you want to be doing with the deck. All of those cards are good power level, but they are split between zombie tribal/bug goodstuff/graveyard combos. I think if you want to change cards you should focus on one aspect, trim down on the cards that don't contribute to it and commit to a "theme."
James Taylor
didn't get any responses last thread. can i get some suggestions?
Your list looks pretty tuned, you should probably just playtest to try to find what works and what doesn't. One thing I notice is you don't have song of the dryads, which is just better than banishing light imo.
Elijah Roberts
i'm waiting for one now actually. it's going in for lignify.
Nathaniel Fisher
I think I'd rather run Harmonize over Commune w/ the Gods
Lucas Jenkins
...
Jackson Murphy
I tried building a Mono B zombie tribal deck with a small Liliana theme, and I tried to do it with only cards I own in my collection. In the end it was honestly the worst deck I have ever built in my life.
This one Also reposting for the user who wanted to see it last thread.
Lincoln Martinez
Fuck, wrong post number. Here's the right one.
Matthew Scott
I actually feel the opposite. Every time I've seen someone play Aetherflux, everyone focuses them to prevent them from getting over 30ish life.
Chase Watson
Sorry user, I linked to the wrong post.
Hunter Hill
i used to run as many clones as i possibly could in every edh deck i built because i'd rather just copy someone else's good stuff than make a good deck of my own. plus they doubled as kill spells for legendary permanents if i needed that back then.
now i only put clones in the deck if they're really good clones (progenitor mimic) or important to a combo the deck has (phyrexian metamorph + sharuum).
Adam Wood
One of the few good EDH cards from Amonkhet. Especially if you run some sort of Token Doubler.
Alexander Wood
So did the Kaladesh block add make more contributions to commander than standard? Seems like nearly every artifact from it has a place in any deck I'm just annoyed that Amonkhet was such a shit set but at least I got an ygo card from it
Mason Young
Kaladesh made the entire top three standard decks (Copycat, Vehicles, Constrictor), meanwhile it only added like two cards to commander.
Logan Myers
this one's pretty spicy in nekusar
Thomas Thomas
Most of those creatures are awful but if you're making this for casual jank it will probably be fun. I'm in a similar boat trying to make banana man without using combos
Noah Barnes
The quickest glance at edhrec suggests you're talking bullshit, and Kaladesh added all kinds of shit. Fumigate, Insidious Will, Aetherflux Resevior, Inventor's Fair, Panharmonicon, etc
Dominic Morales
The infamous Paradox Engine.
Oliver Russell
I promise it wasn't actually very fun, not even for casual. Who exactly is the Banana Man, that sounds ominous
John Moore
tasigur
Jaxon Garcia
And Disallow, Planar Bridge, Trophy Mage
Gavin Robinson
Banana?
Nathan Brown
i bet he's gonna shove them right up his ass
Xavier Foster
Gravespawn Sovereign?
Also, thoughts on this? Seems like it could be fun value. Not being able to target white or black is iffy, but it seems like there would be plenty of targets in free for all games
Elijah Peterson
Banana.
Zachary Hall
Its a downside to both clone and body double but it does have the gy recursion on the chance it dies. Still a reliable card.
Tasigur's art has a zombie next to his throne with bananas in its skull.
Jonathan Moore
Threadly reminder that no Bryan's are welcome in the House of Anus-Angus. Enjoy the taste of the door, you well-adjusted individual.
Gavin Jackson
Supa bad. It's not going to be able to target a fucking thing, you're forgetting multicolored. And it's so literally nothing.
Asher Sullivan
Siphon flesh is better imo
Nathaniel Price
Who's best for YourStuff.dec, Sen Triplets, Gonti, or Jeleva?
Isaiah White

It was funny the past few times but not so much anymore, please stop before this thread gets ruined by autism battles.

>He's not down with the rich lore of EDH general
Pity unto you, user.
Michael White
I picked up a Temmet at a card shop today solely because some user here inspired me with his living weapons idea, and things like Desolation Twins and Geralf. That was a great idea guy. This post is a monument to my muse. I also grabbed a Hapatra but she's probably just going to rot.
Isaiah Murphy
Expect the reminder every thread until Bryan understands his place in the world. EDH isn't a format for anything short of the most socially repugnant of troglodytes.
Christian Johnson
I concede, you're right and I'm leaving. So you should settle down.
Gabriel Gonzalez
I'm building a Jeskai prison/stax deck, but I can't decide what commander to use. I don't really want to play partners, Numot gets hated off the table because anything that destroys lands triggers my lgs, and the rest are all indifferent to the game plan. What do I do?
Christopher Martin
>EDH isn't a format for anything short of the most socially repugnant of troglodytes Is that why you play it?
>Bryan was behind bryanposting the entire time This myth has been busted
Cooper Brooks
well shit he's edgier than me
guess i lose
Blake Lopez
Breya.
Jaxson Wood
What you should do I think is reconsider your stance not using partners, and try Ishai & Kraum for tax-ish effects and two flying bodies.
Evan Green
How safe are enchantments? I feel like answering them with removal is less common than creature and artifact removal.
Samuel Mitchell
Depends on the enchantments role in the deck. Mono B has no real way to deal with enchantments besides Feast of Dreams and Red has only slightly more in the form of chaos, Blue can bounce them back while White and Green can destroy and exile them. Also depends on your meta but most decks run a healthy number of removal for anything
Henry Cruz
Thank me not, fair citizens of this general, for the greatest reparations I may receive is the joy in knowing that we may thrive in our metas by bullying people out who dare to assault us. For what is slamming doors but not the final level of politics?
Kayden Carter
you're correct
John Miller
>Is that why you play it? This better not be a fucking Jojo reference in my fucking thread. I just came here to have a discussion about the one thing I find enjoyable and assnapkins like you need to smear your posing fetish porn all over this goddamn thread. There's an entire fucking containment board for you to do that. Holy shit dude enough is enough.
Bentley Cox
Alternate Art for Samut, Voice of Dissent.
I couldn't help myself.
Nolan Foster
Apparently redudnancy is bad thing.
Daily reminder, redudnancy is bad, only if you consistently have multiple pieces that do the same thing without any added benefit. Redudnacy is pretty much a necessity for any consistent strategy.
Elijah James
Nevermore is also bad apparently. Who knew outright stopping an opponent from playing any single card is kind of a weak effect.
Tyler Kelly
Even if this is pasta its autistic pasta
Bentley Ross
>implying that card can be fixed with animu
Nathan Sanders
Obviously it's a bad card, especially against R and B or Rakdos. Why should anyone even want to play with such a narrow card, not like there's always one good target to name for it.
Angel Reed
People in my meta have started swapping out rec sage for manglehorn, so they're even safer now
Asher Williams
You realize there's a whole lexicon of words available for you to express your opinions. You don't need to keep reusing that word. The context here isn't even that applicable. Pasta can't be autistic. Sentences can't even be autistic.
Blake Mitchell
I prefer Voidstone Gargoyle but that's fine too.
Lincoln Reyes
@53157747
Cute.
Owen Gomez
I dunno user, that sentence of yours was pretty autistic.
Wyatt Long
You must also realize that responding to charlatans by not directly linking there post is in no way staving off off-topic posting. You are still perpetuating the conversation. Surely you must not think that someone who wishes to actively derail a thread will cease simply by not see post directly linked to their post, right?
Evan Diaz
Please describe to me how a sentence can be autistic. The context is not very applicable so I'm curious to what kind of rhetorical hoops you jump through to make seem as such.
Parker Allen
Personally I'd rather make her a Jackal anyways. Why did they have to go human, does Wizards think people won't care about a character if they aren't human? Do they think a little kid pulling out a badass Jackal won't say "Awesome!"?
Bentley Bailey
It's very simple user. You're telling a stranger on the internet that you are "curious to what kind of rhetorical hoops" they're jumping through. You are quite clearly autistic. And much in the same way that a sentence written by a retarded person can be retarded, a sentence written by an autistic person can be autistic.
Evan Hill
Well with how people received Ajani during Lorwyn, I'd say that's a well founded concern. Not a lot of people cared for him much, the average player prefers humans and anything that's human with a small discrepancy i.e. elf ears but still 99% human, or the Soratami/Tamiyo race. Exceptions are the dragons but that's because they're badass dragons that exude an aura of power.
Otherwise don't get your hopes up for any non-human/humanoid character/protag, they're gonna be antagonists usually.
Asher Collins
Just how strong is Riku? I've never seen him played since the first week or so he was out. I wanna try building him but if he's too strong for a casual meta I'll shy away.
Henry Anderson
>And much in the same way that a sentence written by a retarded person can be retarded, a sentence written by an autistic person can be autistic.
No see, this is the logical disconnect. An autistic person can say any sentence and it doesn't become autistic. Now you can (vaguely) deduce whether or not the person making the statement is autistic based on how they describe their interactions with different social situations or how they perceive emotional stimuli, or what would be as such for a normal person. But a statement itself can't be autistic because a statement can't have autism. What you meant to say was, "Your sentence was indicative of someone who has autism;" but even then it's a bit of a dubious claim because I made no mention of anything about myself that would lead one to diagnosis of autism. Please be more precise with your wording as it comes off as sloppy and careless.

Jason Ward
That's spicy. Have a decklist?
Juan Brooks
Depends. You can build him pretty strong, since he does shit like go infinite with just himself and Palinchron. Most of the time he's just janky as fuck though.
Zachary Martinez
You mean you came to the conclusion everyone with a fully functional brain came to when Temmet was spoiled? How totally ingenious of you to literally just scroll through his EDHREC page and make a deck. Truly a master of innovation.
Robert Nguyen
Gonti is super fun Jeleva is played by neckbeard competitive autists playing Storm so you will instantly see a lot of hate when you place her down even if not running a good list
Jack Mitchell
Go UW and play Hanna
Christopher Gonzalez
>Fumigate, Insidious Will I mean yeah you can play Toolcraft Exemplar too but that doesn't mean you should dumbass.
It gave us Paradox Engine and another dumb easily disrupted tool for Sydri to end the game as if she didn't already have like six of those.
John Hughes
Had a great game of EDH tonight at my stores league. Was playing Teysa, Orzhov Scion. Long game but a lot of fun and thankfully no degenerate stuff that tends to happen at league despite there being rules that give you negative points for certain in game actions.
Liam Evans
Disallow is pretty highly saturated in blue decks. Heroic Intervention should be in every green deck as well.
Isaac Morris
Anyone got a budget Ashling, the Extinguisher list?
Jace Morris
99 swamps
Brayden Bailey
Epic meme but thats the wrong version
Julian Perez
You should know I know that by the land type I mentioned.
Checkmate.
Benjamin Ward
>Its a downside to both clone and body double
It's almost strictly better than Clone, since getting one more blue mana isn't particularly demanding, and it's completely different from Body Double. The metric to measure the Embalm against is Cackling Counterpart, and there are tradeoffs to either.
Jordan Perez
I'll give you Heroic Intervention, but Voidslime never saw play at any point, I'm putting Disallow into the played because it's new and weird category.
Aaron Lee
Allow me Vizer >perfect copy of clone >1 mana more to get back >9 mana total >creature tutors get him >has infinite combos >needs help to get instant speed cackling counterpart >always instant >can only target your creatures >10 mana total >more restrictive type for tutors >has infinite combos >can be used as a psuedo counterspell against spot removal
Austin Sullivan
Viscera Seer vs Carrion Feeder?
Jackson Torres
Should be obvious.
Kayden Long
>playing edh with friends >opponents lazav mill, Mike trike tryhard, meren value >playing damia value >Mike decides to not win on the spot for sportsmanship, he did it last game >exile the combo pieces >get rid of some of meren 's spicy tech with deathrite >grind everyone down with repeatable value >win via vraska tokens and shut-out Today, lessons were learned
Hudson Edwards
Carrion Feeder
Jose Thompson
>patron of the moon foil scarcity
is this the fate of every single print legendary?
Liam Williams
How do your groups handle politics? Literally everyone in my group is a shit-flinging backstabber, so no one ever bothers making deals with anyone and deckbuilding leads to all-in strategies or you just get killed.
Josiah Scott
Yes, get them while u can friendos.
Juan Robinson
That pisses me off because I love monsters the most. We nees more treefolk and crazy beasts or hydras. Giant bugs or fish monsters or some shit.
