What is one thing about your character's physical appearance that they would like to change? (they must have something, right? A little fat around the waist, too many scars, not enough hair on their toes, etc.)
What is one thing about your own physical appearance you would like to change?
Nathaniel Lewis
He's short for a barbarian. I'm short for a person.
Easton Miller
Historically, most barbarians were fairly short.
Jeremiah King
Historically, not true.
Gabriel Walker
He looks like death warmed over and there's a massive black scar that starts at his left hip and circles up to his right shoulder and then down his back.
It's actually the mark of the blow that killed him, but I imagine he'd be plenty happy if he just didn't have the reminder anymore.
Ryan Gray
>What is one thing about your character's physical appearance that they would like to change?
Bigger tits, hers are depressingly average and the busty witch is getting all the attention.
Hunter Fisher
His body is the least of his worries but if asked he'd probably say some cleaner skin
I'd like some more facial hair
Bentley Hill
He would love to cure his baldness and get a proper hairy dome.
Levi Butler
She wants her left forearm back. Then again the crossbow she rigged to the stump is pretty sweet.
I wish I was about 30lbs lighter.
Brayden Myers
Well he's a tiefling in a very human centric region sooo yeah. I'd set there are definitely things he'd love to change.
Mason Ramirez
He wishes his flesh wasn't bleached by the horrific rites he performed to unnaturally prolong his lifespan.
I would like to be exactly 1 inch taller.
Cooper Perry
Right. Shortness was caused by agriculture, cramming people together and festering lots and lots and lots of disease.
Julian Nguyen
She hates the conspicuous, scabby scar that runs the length of her ear from when she had to sew it back together, mostly because of the memories it conjures. Though as a matter of principle she refuses to cover it, even though she covers most of her other conspicuous scars with makeup.
I wish I was a little shorter.
Justin Phillips
He probably would like to grow a beard. Nobody respects you when you're some baby-faced paladin.
Josiah Hill
He'd like more muscle. I'd like less fat. We're both working on it.
Leo Powell
Nooo, grow a mustache! Nothing said "authority" like a mustache.
Austin Gonzalez
She would love be, or at least look, a bit older. She's tired of getting treated as young and irresponsible by her group. They would probably stop treating her like that if she stopped acting young and irresponsible.
I wish my facial features were a bit softer.
Ryder Nguyen
You tell me
Xavier Carter
The gauges. Definitely the gauges.
Parker Stewart
>Scarred musclegirl ladyknight who's ashamed of her unfeminine body Never played it, I just really like this idea
Austin Foster
As long as it's not a constant pressing thing, though, right? Like she feels amazing out on the battlefield when she's cleaving through goblins or when they're shooting the shit around a campfire, it's just sometimes when they come home and have to dress up to meet with nobles and whatnot...
Camden Hall
>Like she feels amazing out on the battlefield when she's cleaving through goblins >Like some kind of fucking barbarian The death of an enemy is a neccessary tragedy, knave!
Brayden Sanders
>goblins >worthy of sympathy
Lucas Sullivan
He'd probably just want to get back some of his muscle/And or slightly less stiff joints. Wizardry is great an' all, but it doesn't keep you in peak fitness like the military.
Oliver Cooper
Goblins aren't enemies, they're pests.
If she had said orcs or elves or something I'd agree with you, mostly, but come on man! I've never met a goblin worthy of the title 'enemy.'
Samuel Ross
Probably a permanent cure for his paranoid schizophrenia. The weird magic helmet he uses to keep it in check is cool and all, but he's pretty sure it's connected to an elder god and is probably doing more damage than he realizes
Josiah Hall
>but he's pretty sure it's connected to an elder god and is probably doing more damage than he realizes That sounds an awful lot like something a paranoid schizophrenic would say.
Carter Williams
She wishes she was taller.
The people who mock her quickly learn to do otherwise, but she really hates other's initial reactions when they first meet her.
James Johnson
Mine is Undead.
Tyler Roberts
She wishes she didn't have a penis. Seriously. It's a plot point.
Daniel Young
My current PC is a shapeshifter. This doesn't really apply; if he wants to change something about his appearance, he just changes it, and has no long-term set preferences, just whatever amuses him or is useful at the moment.
Andrew Price
I mean, they're a tzimisce so nothing.
I want to be the little girl
Zachary King
>she >penis No...
Christian Mitchell
RPGs are magical.
Elijah Moore
That's forbidden homo magic, user.
Lincoln Edwards
Unfortunate exposure to a Girdle of Opposite Gender?
Camden Cruz
This. Gauges are cancer.
Carson Stewart
Mutation: Extra Body Part
Or something like that.
Cooper Long
That's a fun archetype to play, if the rest of the group is on board with it.
Zachary Stewart
The dark circles under his eyes. He could easily get rid of them by getting more sleep, but he's too paranoid for that.
Charles Campbell
One of my characters is pretty much a walking corpse, not a lot of living tissue left. Having that fixed would be great.
Logan Baker
hahahahahahahaha, real schizo here, underrated post
Dylan Cook
Nothing, progressive egomania doesn't even consider the possibility of being anything but the perfection made manifest.
No body hair. Grooming is a hassle.
Justin Williams
If his eyes or his face or his hair had any shred of color in them, it might be nice. I mean, his name is Gray and everything, and the whole family looks like this, he gets the point, he wears greyscale outfits like he should, but like, still. A red cape, just once?
Grayson Nguyen
>he isnt a qt girl
Liam Cooper
Even more spinnerets I guess, probably some able to produce gossamer because he always wanted to try Ballooning.
Ayden Evans
She would probably want to be taller. Maybe a generally better figure with just slightly more T&A? I personally want to improve my musculature. I've gotten too skinnyfat for my liking.
Cameron Mitchell
What does she do, exactly? Is she an warrior? Rogue? Not an adventurer at all?
Jeremiah Walker
>Jack Miles He wishes that he didn't love sex so much. >me He wishes that he didn't love sex so much.
I mean, it'd be so much easier to find a girl to settle down with if I wasn't such a lecherous slut. At least I don't cheat on people.
I'm usually the one who's being cheated on because my girlfriends think that I'm such a lecherous bastard that I'm bound to cheat on them anyway.
Christian Gutierrez
Awful knotted scarring reaching from his torso up and around his neck and face. It makes him very seldom concious. It came from his days as a farmhand.
Everyone else is rockin stories about battlescars from slaying dragons and dueling orc champions and he's trying to cover up the time he got trampled by a small heard of cattle.
Mason Diaz
Wait, so how does that work out, exactly? Neither part of that makes much sense to me.
Chase Watson
I suppose my paladin wishes she had a shorter nose. She's an aasimar with feathers/bird imagery, so she's got a long nose. My wizard wishes she could magick the wrinkles away. Working on that lichdom, though.
I wish I had a bigger frame. Taller and stronger. Somebody lend me an Y chromosome, please. It's not fair you guys get muscles, dammit.
Thomas Clark
Cleric, and not the fighting kind. Pure caster. Very small and weaker than average. She has bigger concerns at the moment than personal appearance, but if she had nothing better to do she might be interested in making herself more appealing.
Lincoln Hill
You gonna storytime or are you just gonna let us believe you're a lying slut?
Landon Reyes
We all do, user. We all do.
Aiden Clark
Sometimes she wishes she had flesh on her bones. Most of the time she prefers being a skeleton.
Anthony Moore
`Leave them before they leave me` mentality. People don't want to be burned in a relationship, so sometimes they deliberately sabatoge it to try and preemptively save themselves the grief of the other person ending it. It's not really sane, but people do it anyways.
Matthew Cox
>Somebody lend me an Y chromosome, >please. It's not fair you guys get muscles, >dammit. I know that feel roughly half the time.
*Someone once asked "why, in the little novella you're writing, are women better at magic than men?" To which the answer of course was "you guys get to be big and strong in real life. You can let me have this."
Buuut then on the other hand, I also like being carried and feeling protected by someone bigger and all that yadda yadda.
Yeah, all right. I only bring it up since as the by-far-least-curvy of my sisters I am routinely reminded that boobs are kind of hassle when you're trying to do stuff. But if she's more of a spellcaster then whatever.
I can definitely believe that happening to a single person once, even twice. But as a trend?
Tyler Miller
>pretending to be a grill
Brayden Gomez
Here's your attention.
Asher Barnes
Why do you say that, user?
Chase Peterson
My tiefling would wish to have normal feet, and not hooves. Or be taller than 5 foot even. One of those.
I wish I passed as female.
Jaxson Watson
Aw. I'm sure you'll get there.
Have you checked out, like, online makeup tutorials and clothing guides and whatnot? My MtF and crossdresser friends swear by them.
Gabriel Robinson
She wishes she had regular feet instead of cloven hooves so she'd be able to wear shoes.
I wish I was slightly taller.
Landon Rodriguez
>What is one thing about your character's physical appearance that they would like to change? I'll take a stab at "everything". Although he can Alter Self at will, so maybe his height more than anything.
>What is one thing about your own physical appearance you would like to change? For the most part, I wish I was really short. I'm 1.84 meters or something like that iirc, which I suppose falls under "conventionally tall".
Alexander Rogers
>character Fix a few scars and make the cybernetics less obvious >me Be a bit slimmer around the midsection
Carter Butler
My character would like to stop his flesh rotting away. I personally would like to lose some weight(which I'm working on) or stop my hair From thinning but that's unlikely
Nolan Smith
My character has a missing arm, so there's that. But that feels obvious and doesn't say much about her as a character, so I'll say her hands. She's nice looking enough and proud of her heritage, but her hands are the tough hands of a warrior. Little reminder that she doesn't quite fit in to her old noble life and couldn't go back if she wanted to.
Easton Bailey
The best part is no one knows if it's true or not.
It's the best mindfuck I've made in a while
Nathan Taylor
...can I ask for storytime?
Brody Wright
She wishes she preferred cigars to cigarettes.
I'm fine. No body hair sounds good, though.
Logan Smith
I'm actually in the Marine Corps atm, in a horribly transphobic unit. I'm in the closet until I get out or transfer to a different one.
But I've been researching the guides and such, and learning. It's been fun. I'm tempted to rent a hotel for a weekend and try out a bunch of makeup where no one will see.
Elijah Cooper
My Trandoshan feels her pain. Apparently giant lizard feet are hard to cobble for even in space.
My Gnoll Fighter(Cad) wishes he was fancier. Then ALL the humans would see he's civilized! They might respect him more if he wasn't slaver scum.
Personally, I wish I wasn't so horribly depressed.
Jose Myers
>joining the Marines Why would you do that to yourself? What MOS?
Chase Lopez
Bummer. Also probably not ideal considering building muscle and all that buuuuut then I just remembered that this image exists, so just think about that.
Dylan Cruz
Probably the fact that his face looks like someone carved out half of it because that's what happened.
Nathan Ortiz
Estrogen is a hell of a drug.
Henry Phillips
I-is your character a demipumpkin?
Julian Moore
2651. I came to the conclusion shortly before boot and just determined to ride it out when I heard about the protections going through congress. Sort of wish I hadn't now. What's your MOS, friendo?
She's a major cutie, omg. That gives me hope, ty.
Jordan Evans
My character wonders what it would be like to have a face.
For me, I'd like just a bit of muscle tone, but I'm too lazy, so a limp twig I shall remain.
Cameron Carter
He would like to be even bigger and even stronger (and even fluffier) than he normally is, despite being a mountain of a beastman. He's under the impression that "bigger is better", and clearly due not getting enough love he's not big and strong enough yet.
Asher Ross
Goblins are as strong and intelligent as children, and children are fucking terrifying.
Connor Gray
Children are only terrifying because you're not allowed to kill them.
Dylan Jenkins
Only according to the law.
Jose Torres
He'd want to be a bit more muscular. Twiggy thief/wizard yo
Lose weight
Thomas Bailey
I dated this girl for several months (well, no scars and kickboxer rather than knight, but same personality). It was mostly just kind of...there was an odd duality of relationship with her body for both of us. She enjoyed her athletic capabilities but she felt like she was a bit daintier inside than people took her for (big ethnic Swedish blonde farmgirl from rural MN), while I was both attracted and at the same time able to think "wow, she could really do me some damage if she felt like it". Women must have to think that about (male) partners a lot of the time, but I don't think most of us have experienced it. I certainly hadn't.
Ryan Nelson
She's a Muto Corpus specialist (Ars Magica), so I don't think she's all that worried about it. Easily handled. I could see things about her physique she'd like to change for internal reasons; she's small enough that fights are mad scary and alcohol is overwhelming.
Joseph Martin
>Warlock Human who forgot everything about himself
Hobo man wants new clothes, not ginger hair, and to undo the pact scars all over his back.
Zachary Anderson
>She's a Muto Corpus specialist (Ars Magica), so I don't think she's all that worried about it.
Trivial to make temporary tweaks as you need them but one of the subtler limitations of hermetic magic is that making any lasting change to your body requires keeping spells up permanently and accumulating more Warping that translates directly to years off your life. The maga who's vain enough to keep up her perfect bod at all times, even just in front of the grogs, is kind of a tragic figure.
Still the size thing shouldn't be an issue. It's what, a level 15 spell to make yourself size 0 or +1 for any day where you expect danger.
Isaiah Scott
He is missing his arm. Lost it in a fight with a big baddie.
We ended up getting a replacement through an artificer, but then that one got destroyed as well with a series of terrible rolls.
Christian Evans
The last character I played was a Charisma 7 Elf. He's really, *really* attractive. Still, he spends the vast majority of his time either at his home or in clubs/on the town, so he'd like to be a little less pale.
The character I played before that was London street scum, though. He's really fucked up from dozens of blunt objects slamming into his face.
Alexander Long
Charisma 7 in Shadowrun, not D&D, should have clarified.
Bentley Jackson
Well my neo-classical witch would like to be a more statuesque, regal build instead of being short and a little squinty. My knight just wants to be in the shape he was in 20 years ago.
Me, I'd like to build some upper body muscle but I'm a lazy cunt and cycling is the only exercise I can stick with.
Leo Long
Dwarf monk wants to get rid of his beer gut. He's otherwise Veeky Forums but he hates that no matter how much he cuts he can never show off his abs.
Carter Cooper
My Fae thinks he's perfect. He just needs more wonderful things to wear.
My half elf wishes he looked less like an elf and more like a human. He's from a land that does not have great relations with elves due to a couple of wars and some colonization so he's not quite accepted either way.
Another one of my characters wishes he didn't look so much like his father and has considered dying his hair and even getting contacts.
As for me... I would like to be taller, and have more muscles. (i cant build no matter what.) Also I have this weird curve in my spine that makes me look like I'm sticking out my chest. and maybe a little more of a butt. I'm sick of this wall of nuthin I'm sitting on.
Connor Roberts
I'm fine with my characters appearance. i'd like to look a lot less like danny davito
Caleb Cox
like you suggested, my rogue has always harbored a big desire for a more feminine build. She's a svelt, pixie sort of physique chick, with not much up top. She'd choose bigger tits and a curvier hips if she could.
David Peterson
She wants her skin to be a normal colour.
Brody Baker
Six meals a day. Small meals. Oats, whey, fish oil, skinless chicken breast, mixed veggies. Lots of water in between.
