One of the funniest examples I've seen of someone complaining about 8th was them giving the example of guardsmen killing a bloodthirster. If only they knew the pain.

Bloodthirsters and Daemons Princes should never have been T6/5 and W5/4 in the first place. Especially with only a 3+ armour (that you need to pay for on the DP).

I think that's reasonable. Guilliman is T6, right? The new greater daemons are way more ripped than him.

kastelan robots may be God tier. if they get a wounds buff and keep the twin linked weapons that's 18 phosphor shots (currently s7 ap3), and the datasmiths haywire and melts attacks with splitfire from a unit that just won't fucking die.

Trying to use only Steel Legion minifigures my choices are Grenade Launchers or Plasma Guns.

Depending on how many wounds they can actually dish out they might actually be countered by blobs. A unit dealing 3 or 4 mortal wounds isn't doing much to a unit of 40.
