Flags

Do you make flags for your kingdom's Veeky Forums?
I sure do.
I'll describe this one and another.
>Ludluth
>Mostly forests and lakes
>Ruled by Prince Kolsk and Princess Maria
>Militarily service is required for one year
>The military does next to nothing because nobody wants to attack Ludluth

Make your flags my dudes.

I shall save your thread with some stuff from a failed homebrew setting.

r/vexillology is surprisingly good for flag stuff

Some oceanic country flag

Hey OP
I like flags. You make nice flags. I hope you have a nice evening.

Some imperialist nation

Here's an attempt at a happy flag

I also tried my hand at a few provincial/state flags from Molthune, a nation in Pathfinder's Golarion.

I like flags but I don't really like the app you use. I mean you did a good job with some of those but I feel it's too limited for me.

An earlier rendition of the sunflower flag

If you're taking requests, could you make something with Blue, White, Green, and Black for me?
I'd just like to see what you do with those colors.

My collection of alternate-history and fantasy flags is elsewhere, but I'll post a couple that I do have.

If people'd pitch out ideas and concepts based on the flags we might some more traction.

github.com/andrewsarnold/FlagMaker-2/releases/tag/2.0.1 is what I used

...

What website do you guys use to make these + wat dimensions?

...

Use this pdf and this link to learn the basics and try your hand at it.

Thank you.
I thought this thread was dead.
Thanks bro.

Last provincial flag.

2:3 and 1:2 are the most common, but they can be 3:5, or even retarded ones like 10:19 (this is the USA flag ratio).

No prob, my dude. Vexillology is a great subject.

Fictitious United States flag modeled after the Prussian flag.

Can you tell me about the places your flags fly for?
No need for anything in-depth just put something like I did.

Unfortunately, the game didn't get off the ground, so they weren't really developed. The ones with the small red flag in the canton, (the upper left corner, typically closest to the top of the flag pole), were for the major cities/regions of a country in Pathfinder's normal campaign setting. Either that, or for the cities the PCs would have eventually started as part of the kingdom building process.

Aww.
Sucks to hear that.
You can still flesh them out a bit though.
Maybe use them in a different campaign.

I'll find a use for them eventually. The other flags I did were a little more developed, but only in the roughest sense.

was to be a plains-y, farming nation, with a lot of cavalry and such.

was a naval power house, with imperialistic territory, but also fair to many different cultures, since it had absorbed so many of them.

was basically just some malaysia-tier nobody.

was based on and a democratic country but heavy into military, and had begun to butt heads over territory

was either a small trading nation that would have grown over the campaign to a much larger threat, or be the standard evil empire that is ruled by the BBEG's henchman.

That sounds neato.
Now would you mind if I expanded on them?

Hey OP

It's OK. I approve of your brand of autism

Go for it dude. Feel free to use those flags in a homebrew or whatever. I mostly just like making flags.

Tricks for anyone using github.com/andrewsarnold/FlagMaker-2/releases/tag/2.0.1

Try making three layers, a background layer, a mid layer with the iconography or whatnot, and a top layer with objects the same color as the background. It's a way to get a bit more creative than the simple stock shapes the program has

Also, there's an option to make an object/shape repeat in a circle, for like stars n shit. you can use this to ring any shape, and also rotate it, which is how things like that sunflower flag came out, or the imperialistic ones.

That feel when phoneposting so you can't make dope ass flags.

Just do it when you get home, nigga.

I have no computer.

Well shit, son. Ain't that some bullshit

Yes, I even did a Veeky Forums flag for it and inserted it into various images I posted across /pol/ and /int/. Now it is permanently ingrained into images circulating around and hundreds of confused people have googled it.

It sucks.

Looks like some obscure African nation flag.

Give us the lore.

What is the name of that symbol in the center?

I did this but I use it as a logo more than anything
