It's a design of a theoretical alien animal species created for an interesting speculative documentary called Alien Planet following a couple of fictional autonamous NASA probes on a distant planet full of weird life. The skewers pretty much are biological jetfighters. They swoop down and impale prey on their skewer-like horns and drink the blood through it.
