Men and Monsters

I need suggestions on executing this scenario properly (in regard of roleplay):

A doctor's wife was cursed into becoming a dragon, people think it is because she pissed off a witch.
However, said doctor still cares for her and wants her best, but eventually he is forced to arrange more food than he can buy, because the adventuring party hurt his wife while she was hunting. The trails of stolen cattle lead to her cave, where her husband is also found.

How could i go on from there (assuming the party doesnt murderhobo everything prior to any social interaction).

"Alignment" has no say in this particular game

>Becoming a dragon is a curse
I think we have different definitions of the word 'curse'. Dragons get incredible strength, extremely long lives, the power of flight, and potent magical abilities that can often include the ability to take human form.

There's pretty much no downside if you're not a dick. You could even offer to become the patron protector of the local kingdom. They get a dragon on their side whenever shit hits the fan and whatever magical gifts you deign to give them, and you get a lair that's 60% less likely to get pillaged by murderhobos and a monthly tribute in the form of livestock to feast on.There are literally no downsides to being turned into a dragon.

What about sex?

Just polymorph to a humanoid of the same species for a couple hours.

Literally.
No.
Downsides.

>Just polymorph to a humanoid of the same species for a couple hours.
Is there even a rule of thumb for what happens if he knocks someone up? Do they become those dragonborn things? What if the dragon is a woman?

>implying it's DnD
if it says "curse", then in that case it shouldn't be assumed to be all that nice and convenient

Sorcerers Nigga.

Dragonborn are a seperate species altogether, though related fo dragons. The offspring gets the half-dragon template. If the dragon is female and stays in humanoid form throughout the pregnancy, the offspring usually has fewer draconic traits and more closely resembles the humanoid father. The descendants of half-dragons are often draconic bloodline sorcerers.

Well assuming this is a setting where dragons are just hexapedal flying reptiles that are particularly inteligent and breath fire, it would be a curse. And yet it gives the recipient a pretty decent toolset to murder the fuck out of whoever cursed them, so a smart witch would have some kind of leverage to prevent this.

As for going on from the party meeting the husband and him explaining the situation, that sounds like the party's decision. Personally I'd start searching for the witch so we could find out how to undo this curse, but not before first learning why the curse was put on her in the first place.

Just have the details of past events and the goals/means of the NPCs involved written down and see what the party does with it. Know what could lift the curse, what the real reason for the curse is, and what goals the NPCs have regarding the curse.

would you deprive your loved one of sexual pleasure just because they became huge, fire-breathing beasts? herr doktor wouldn't, either.

And he probably would be below 5t of dragon pussy the moment the party walks in
