That's true, I just think that in terms of the things people praise these shows for, we've whittled them down to an art form over thousands of years. This is reinventing the wheel. While all movies aren't good and these shows can be entertaining, they still take a lot of time to watch for what you get out of it.

Even with actors and editing, you don't get the benefits of a cinematographer, a continuity editor, color grading, special effects, all that stuff.

Why not stream live improv? There'd be less baggage from obeying a ruleset, and it would hit a wider audience (especially if it was improv comedy, which has rules anyway).
