What's your BBEG like? What makes him such a big deal?

I want to play as a good and caring daddy in Starfinder!

Age of Worms, making me feel all nostalgic there, OP.

>bbeg

Ugh edition.

>7 INT and WIS
>good at mothering

Rory is a more qualified parent than that dunce

Hey, I still got 3/4 right, that's a passing score!

>12 CHA, 8 INT, 18 WIS

you're right

Yeah, but Rory would just pump-and-dump and hop on the next ship out of port. Gloriana would at least try and raise her pups.

Reminder that only celeb apps will get into Ensoulment.

>BBEG
No thanks.

I want Rory to pump-and-dump inside me!

We need to remove the celeb players.

Who are the celeb players?

>cruel, selfish, child-eating class, irresponsible teenager

I've got doubts about one of your other choices too.

Anyone that gets name dropped in the threads, shitposts or not, on a regularly basis.

Got a list, dude?

What if they were Rory pups? Would he leave or take responsibility for his crossover family?

Y'all are stupid.

Just read the threads for the last two or three days. Any name is on the list.

My bet is that he WOULD

>child-eating class
But what idiot in their right mind would actually take Cook People when there are so many better hexes?

>tease about throwing it out

How will you find it? Do you make a habit of snooping through party members' stuff?

>BBEG

Ugh

What is this meme?

You see her cooking the Night Tea and you kick it off the fire.

People think they're above playing in a story where there's a Big Bad to fight at the end of it.

>tease
Key word here. You don't let on that you know where she keeps it because you don't.

You just say it in the heat of the moment, and then never actually do jack shit to her night tea.

People are tired of hearing "Big Bad Evil Guy" when "villain" is better in just about every way and doesn't make you sound like a toddler who just came back from tvtropes.

People have been complaining about "Big Bad Evil Guy" for years. The early complaints seemed to be mostly about the concept itself, with many people disagreeing that a plot needed a character as a central antagonist.

Now, it seems that some of the complaints are about the language. "Big Bad Evil Guy" was coined to sound corny, and is more of an in-joke than a designation like "Central Antagonist." It's also grown to be somewhat vague, with some people using it as the central antagonist, others using it as the final antagonist, and still others using it as simply any antagonist, which can get confusing when trying to communicate about one of these specific ideas.

As far as the shitstorm, I think that comes in part because it takes very little effort to say "BBEG sounds dumb", which is enough to trigger some people who use that phrase. These people then go to say things like "you need to respect this acronym, it's Veeky Forums's acronym, every true fa/tg/uy uses BBEG exclusively," and that gets even people who had no real interest in the matter upset, because it starts to sound like there's people who are actually actively trying to push BBEG.

BBEG is a meme, and like most memes it doesn't have much of a shelf life. The old joke has faded, and now it seems like people are just finding it weird for people to be so fervent in holding onto it.

So she doesn't get pregnant, and you cuck yourself out of your own shitty shiiled fetish.

kys fetishposter

>The old joke has faded, and now it seems like people are just finding it weird for people to be so fervent in holding onto it.
Like pathfinder

>How dare you post about a shitty fetish, what a fag
>He isn't indulging in his shitty fetish, what a fag

There's a shitposter affectionately known as BBEGfag who goes around typing ">BBEG Ugh" on every thread, followed usually by a copypasta and rambling about people "Defending their pet phrase".
So people started mocking him with the "Ugh" meme.

So which daemon would be most effective if you strapped a jet engine to it's back and giae it two guns that shoot napalm?

Please wank BEFORE posting here, and not during.

Pretty sure that's an instant recipe for no booty, user. You don't piss off your prospective hook-up before you get access to the goods. That would be stupid

Fetishposting is off topic for Veeky Forums.

Operator dad who has a family at home?

How much Night Tea serves to abort the fledgling fetus, and how early must it be administered?

Can we not?

With a little hologram of his family?

The setting's big three villains are the following:
>A colony of maggots inhabiting the corpse of a deceased god, referred to as The Pale Choir. They gained a sort of malignant intelligence from consuming deific flesh.
>A powerful entity that is the origin of hag kind and mortal witchcraft, known as The Hag Mother. She has been seeding secret changelings into populations around the world for millennia.
>Two unique twin sapient undead created when a great hero cleaved a mighty undead lord's skull in twain known as Absolution and Enlightenment. Before they were split the undead lord was trying to build an assisted suicide device for reality called The Deliverance Engine.

Rate my setting's villains

Someone who wants to savor the taste of rare delicacies like Tiefling.

I'm very confused with Pathfinder.

What is the Conjuration School? The Treantmonk guide talks about it and the wiki says about it but in the PDF I found there is no "Conjuration School".

Of course, you have to remind yourself what your fighting for after all

>What makes him such a big deal?

If he "succeeds" his little project is going to send two planets into collision course through a gate and then causes the Material Plane to collapse partially into Abaddon

>In high doses, it may be able to end a pregnancy.
That's all it says--so assumingly you'd need something like a triple dose at least to end an actual pregnancy, and even then it's not a sure thing. You probably get a Fortitude save to end the pregnancy or something, or a percentage chance.

Well if they just wanted a taste, all they'd have to do is ask.

Anons, I'll be GMing my first pathfinder game soon and I'd like to know any race and/or cosmology differences between D&D 3.5 races/cosmology and pathfinder. Is there a list somewhere?

I'm talking about the changes like eladrin = azata, or I don't know like hell is now called bad-flame-land and it's blue, etc. I'd like to use my 3.5 books and campaign with minor adjustments

3x the normal dose, and can be administered at any time during the pregnancy, with messier results the longer you wait.

Therefore, frugal women who aren't at all delicate to the implications of their selfish behavior could perhaps hold out on administering Night Tea until every other week, assuming sex occurs on a nightly basis this means the woman is saving 11 doses of Night Tea in exchange for a particularly heavy "period."

>3.5
you still use that?
move on to a better system please

Anyone?

SRD

Why, does pathfinder not a decent system? Since I implied I moved on to pathfinder and this is a pathfinder thread, I thought you guys at least somewhat like pathfinder a little?

The flesh orb that constantly falls everywhere.

archivesofnethys.com/MonsterDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Lapsudaemon

you thought wrong
please use something that isn't about d20s
i know you're really old but that's no reason to resist change

>assuming sex occurs on a nightly basis

What kind of insane campaigns do you people run?!

Please explain.

google

I don't understand the question. Do you mean the wizard class feature to specialize into a school- in which case, that's with the wizard- or do you mean the group of spells?

All spells have their school listed at the top of their stat block. You can find details on any special functions of a school in the Magic chapter.

Something like half of /pfg/ unironically hates Pathfinder here, the other half ironically hates Pathfinder.

>the implications of their selfish behavior

You lost me; how is birth control problematic?

I wish I had the bueno picture for this, but I don't so you can have a samurai instead.

I have the book in portuguese and a PDF in english, the guide for Wizards from Treantmonk mentions a "Conjuration School", but both the portuguese and english books don't mention this "conjuration" school in the mage part.

Are we GURPing now? I really can't wrap my head around the thing you're saying user, been reading lots of rulebooks today. Mind mind has only ptsd images of my homebrew cosmology right now, sorry.

I delved the reddit, Veeky Forums archives, interwebz, etc and couldn't find such a list, only some info here and there. You guys got such a lifesaving url or not?

Sounds like it was probably translated as something else. It's the school that summons stuff. Like Summon Monster.

But the english PDF doens't mention the conjuration school as well.

...yes, it absolutely does. Are you sure you have the core rulebook?

No? I'm telling you that 3.5 is shit, PF is just a reskinned 3.5, and it is thus shit too. Move on to something else for your own good, and your players too.

Conjuration is a school that specializes in creating something out of nothing temporarily or bring something from somewhere into another place.

So by pathfinder's settlement rules approximately 5% of the population are spell casters. As Thorps (who are ~20 people) have a level 1 spell caster in them.

I have never gotten anyone's reasoning over why vague knowledge of how spells work shouldn't be common for everyone in golarion when everyone knows at least one spellcaster.

I'm not saying spell craft to identify spells, but that stuff like "magic is dangerous", "even weak mages can put you to sleep", "shooting them while they're trying to cast stops them", "priests need holy symbols to do their magic", and that sort of shit.

Oh I see, the pdf I'm looking at says "Evocation" but it has the same description as the "Conjuration" in the guide.

How much would weed cost in Pathfinder?

Well, thanks for pointing out my tastes are shit. Luckily, it's mine taste and mine only. I also don't get people watching black and white movies in 2017, but hey, it's not me who's watching those movies so I don't care that much. Nostalgia is a bitch you know.

Weird since evocation is effectively bending and shaping pure energy while conjuration is about mimicking something that exists and shaping it from raw magic.

>Luckily, it's mine taste and mine only
But it isn't, you worthless ESL scum. You're propagating terrible habits and luring in unsuspecting newbies.

>Dedicated casters only have spells that go up to 6th level
>Soldier has way more going for it than just feats
>Has a class where you're basically a Jedi who also flings hadokens made of starfire and opens singularities in people's chests
>Has a dinosaur imperium
>Sci-Fi is better than fantasy in general
Calling it now: Starfinder is going to be the Shawn Michaels of the two games within two years.

Iconic Mystic is best bug dad.

Really digging the new races. One of the first thing I asked myself when I learned Shirren commonly keep their larva with them, even when adventuring, is all the ways that could possibly go wrong, and what might happen in such an instance.

Thus, the concept for my Shirren Operative was born.

To be honest, 3.5 stuff is easy to convert to PF. If you still have the books, just use them.

Otherwise, just check the trove in the OP.

The Subjective Spider is not evil per se but the wealthy explorer that found it in the Vast and tried to bring it back hoped to use it to literally re-write reality to reclaim his lost fame and revive his wife who died during the decline of his career and hopefully rebuild the relationship with his children.

The act of carrying it back messed with the drift engines causing it to be lost in the Drift for years but now signs are showing that the ship is within reach and a number of groups are gunning for it, for the chance at priceless treasures of the Vast while the children want to know the fate of their father.

Idea for a scenario in Starfinder

Dude, just help the poor guy out. Memeing "pathfinder is shit" constantly isn't going to answer his question. Now, are you going to keep being a little shit or do something useful with your time?

As for you, I'd help out more if I was more familiar with the 3.5 settings. The discord or IRC might be better places to ask, since I think there's a contingent of players that still use FR stuff that show up there.

They did a mess with the translation to portuguese probably because there is no conjuration school in the Wizard chapter but in the spell list there are Conjuration spells, wtf hahaha

>Shawn Michaels
Elaborate.

I just prefer Sci-Fi since it is easier for me to imagine the stuff and how to limit it more than traditional fantasy.

We're sorta obliged to give the guy a warning though.
3.5 and PF warrants a "Get outta here Dewey, you don't want none of this shit." before we give the user drugs to ruin his life.

This is such a random thing to copypasta.

This is such a random thing to copypasta.

I wonder if anyone remembers Svana Kodlak

I do, wasn't that the replacement after gamagirly? Or was that a different player?

I was okay with the idea, but she didn't really leave me more than nonplussed. Some interesting art might have helped make her more memorable.

Wasn't that the wereboar turbomom? She was excellent, and it's a shame she never applied to RotJR for real

Not gamagirly
There's just not much art out there that would fit her
Yes she was sorry but IRL stuff got in the way

Birth control is not problematic. What amounts to having an abortion every other week to save a couple Silver is kind of sleazy.

Two lovers with high libido will probably be having sex on a nightly basis, even if it's not explicitly stated.

Taking a quick glance back at the weapon creation system, I have to ask who the fuck designed this garbage. The shit I made in the above post? I could just make it a Martial Weapon rather than exotic and the only thing I would lose out on is it being a traditional elven weapon. Hell, any weapon worth using save a 2-handed finesse weapon can be made martial and work just fine.

pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Recreational_drugs_of_Golarion

Hey, life happens and we're not going to judge ya for it. Svana was a real sweetheart and it was sweet to see her go from concept to character (even if she was turbo-fast and Russian.)

Hold onto her, might be another game crops up that would support her (Blingmaker could have.)

It sucks but it's understandable. Still a crying shame though.

>What amounts to having an abortion every other week to save a couple Silver is kind of sleazy.

Pharasma needs to leave.

He's going to unleash a planetary-scale catastrophe with the potential to cause at the very least a massive dieout of humanoids and other complex lifeforms, and condemn his own race specifically (serpentfolk somewhat refluffed) to final and complete extinction. Why he's doing that? Well, he was somewhat of a standard PF serpentfolk magic-user, except even more of a raging, arrogant supremacist than normal, considering his race the eldest and most perfect of all, and then, as he sought to unearth more secrets and powers from ancient history, and return his people to glory, he delved too deep, and had H.P. Lovecraft protagonist's realization about how utterly insignificant serpentfolk were in the grand scheme of things, and how hopeless his old plans were. His sanity shattered alongside with his pride, he basically decided to ragequit and to take as much of the mortal world with him as he could (his followers are not aware of that).

That IRL stuff involved me losing my computer, so I no longer have her
