yeah the guy in my group went full edgelord and decided to cripple her as punishment. I think he got the idea from the walking dead show or something. I ended up making him feel bad about it by describing how much agony she was in, and her screaming when she realized she couldn't move anymore. I went very much into character and had her shout at him that he was "fucking sick" and how she broke down into sobbing afterward. One of the other characters started taking care of her, and they actually fought against a cult that wanted to keep her with them. Now she is dying slowly from spinal infection, there is still a way that they can save her but I kind of doubt that they will figure it out. Oh well I guess that's what I get for making a River-Tam-ripoff waifu NPC and investing a load of plot material in a character the group was supposed to fight and potentially kill.

Savage Worlds, yeah. He basically just adjusted the summonable animals to be dinosaurs, he pretty much copied their stats. Savage Worlds gives a ton of freedom for how you fluff your powers, they even have rules for your "trappings" of your powers, like lightning, fire, shadow, etc.
That screencap doesn't even have all the stories of the deceased / resigned characters. I'm working on updating the new version to include previous members of the party as well... including one who just showed up to harass them as an enemy NPC. Game's been going for 45 sessions now, so they are at Legendary level and there isn't a huge amount left to do, but I am planning to run that campaign until the bitter end.

Here's the first time I posted about it. Since that time the campaign progressed a fair bit. Ivan started to take care of Rivet as they dragged her around the city in the wheelchair. She is definitely suffering. A lot. And dying of spinal infection. When she awoke and found out what had happened she screamed "you're fucking sick!" at Alexie and had a huge panic attack which is understandable when you suddenly can't move your legs. Turns out a cult that lived in the city in an intersection they had walled off as well as living in the corners of the gutted buildings, was looking for Rivet for her psychic powers. When the characters tried to leave the city the cult offered to send some men to escort them out through the tunnels, but in return they had to leave Rivet behind. That ended with a gunfight with the cult. Also after a while Alexie handed Rivet a folded up piece of paper that was a note saying he was sorry for what he did and was going to try to do what he could to save her.
