We don't have the other page of points for Dark Eldar do we? We're missing melee and other wargear.

The first three points are right but Skitarii aren't really shooting better than ever with the removal of Doctrinas. I guess Canticles helps somewhat make up for it but I'm going to miss a whole army of BS 2+ with some units re-rolling 1's.

Cancer guns also got a bit worse since they used to be able to either spread the extra Wounds from the 6's across the unit or pile them into a big target, but now they can only do the second one, so they're not as good at clearing hordes.

Then again I guess everything is worse at clearing hordes in this edition.

Seriously do you have a link to the sheets for all three of those units? Let's have a look see, and see what their Aura Ranges are. Like I said you can just bubble wrap the one mad flesh scientist in his Incubi but keep some of his flesh warped slaves within 6" or 8" or what ever his aura range is. And if one guy is in, the whole unit is.

Because I can't help but to think that things aren't that bad.

The buffs are too esoteric. There's no point in running any covens stuff with a Succubus or any Kabalite stuff with a Haemonculus. Even AoS lets you stack buffs across your own faction and that game got dropped on its head at birth.

I don't think a 40k thread has ever moved this fast. This is almost as fast as election night on /pol/ and that was fucking fast.

psychic phase is after the movement phase, so you're a sitting duck for a turn. burnas are a high priority, low save unit; not exactly what I would recommend putting in that position.

So if your Haemonculus only gives his bonus to friendly (cult?) then you could still give him a bodyguard of Incubi, maybe an Elite character for a minor buff, and keep the flesh warped stuff nearby to leach off his buff.

Succubi are Cults, which are gladiator shit like wyches

Archons are Cabals, which are, well, Kabalites

A Succubus let's units in 6" reroll 1s to melee for example. He's upset that he can't reroll 1s for his Kabalites because they're units.

But good fucking lord the icarus array now. Not only is it hitting on 4's at worst and will be hitting some units on 2's but all three of its weapons even got buffed on top of that. That thing looks like it will rape it's way through a full 3-man Crisis Team per shooting phase.
