This is dolphin porn.

I'm more surprised it's not.

Only the hottest

sweet thanks russiabro

I didn't post it, but figured the more people download it, the more often it will get re-uploaded.

Thank mr skeletal

Don't get my hopes up.

Pg 175
>in codexes you'll also find army-specific special rules that reflect the character of the army, exciting Warlord Traits, Stratagems, wargear, and even unique relics

So great, power balance is going back to whoever gets their codex first. I bet orks will top that list!
Why could this not be in the index? Don't answer that.

The answer is because you are a dummy.
You know what else isn't in the index?
Point scores for matched games, just power points.
This really is one of the stupider posts I've seen today.

>rules in the box
So GW finally got to the point everyone else was at 5-10 years ago?

Points are in the indices, they're in the back. Check again, they're definitely there.
I haven't actually bought an index yet, obviously. Why does getting annoyed by intentional imbalance make me an idiot? Or am I idiotic for hoping for a balanced edition for once?

They've already been doing it with some 40k stuff. Its just standard now.

>Or am I idiotic for hoping for a balanced edition for once?
Probably this one. 40k can't really be balanced the way it is designed. There's too little differentiation between model roles.

>Its just standard now.
Point is that it is not. It was standard years ago, nowaday it's ass-backwards. There's a reason competitors like CB or PP are moving away from it and in PPs case it's at least 3 years overdue.

>Why does getting annoyed by intentional imbalance make me an idiot?
You are forced to play someone that has a codex and you don't?

They've promised yearly point balance updates for everyone. That means no codex make mean fewer toys, but not necessarily a weaker army.

>You are forced to play someone that has a codex and you don't?
Why am I the idiot again? I'm not forced to do anything, I could play 7th more if I wanted to contract cancer until 8th is properly up and running.

Look on the bright side, there's no reason to stick to faction keywords at the moment

>Magnus can move 36" and murder a Knight on a charge

Brains over brawn.

Can someone please post the wyvern?

Magnus is also swole as fuck though.
He was the biggest primarch before he became a demon prince.
He's an egyptian muscle wizard.

What about legions?

This "all da points are in da back" is a seriously retarded step backwards

It's an intentional step towards pushing the playerbase into more casual play.

Woo they fixed reanimation protocols. Necrons feel fluffy again!

It's really just tradition at this point. Model rules have been strewn all over the book since at least 4th edition.

ahhahahahahahah!

7 entries for the chaos lord, spanning 4½ pages.

This takes the (not lie) cake.

Wait, so Chapter Tactics are gone or am I missing something ?

where are the points? i dont see them

>deathleaper can infiltrate within 6 inches of an enemy Character.

Well fuck your support characters then.

>Acolytes are 1-5 now
>No inquisitorial rhinos/chimera

Are you fucking kidding me.

And yet Dark Apostles still can't take terminator armour

>exocrine shots 12 plasma shots hitting on 3s if it stands still, can potentially 1 turn a knight.

And i thought the haruspex was going to be the go to for is kit based on earlier leaks.

You just made my evening user.

DEATH TO THE FALSE EMPEROR!

Anything about sisters of battle?

They're in Imperium 2 in the Adeptus Ministorum.

So we don't have warlord traits or stratagems until the codexes come out?

Check their army special rules, they can board any imperial transport, and since you only need one faction keyword for a detachment that can take basically anything.

They also have 3 wounds each now.

Doesn't change the fact that an army build with imperial agents is now invalid...
-No more rad grenades
-No more psychotropic grenades
-No more hell rifles
-No more power armor inquisitors
-No more conversion beamers
-Acolytes cannot take carapace or power armor

Oh well, it is not like we are not used to waiting.

>Each Black Templar battle-fleet contains thousands of warriors
>Each battle-fleet thousands
>thousands

Fuck yes!

They were literally one of the first to have their new lists leaked, it's been out for days, it's in OPs link, what are you talking about?

>i will now show up to a 2k game with five Baneblades (more likely, two baneblades, a shadowsword and a stormlord full of whatever warm bodies end up being tough enough)
Who needs heresy for super-heavy tank brigades?

Why bother making the distinction between combibolter and storm bolter when they look exactly the same and now are exactly the same?

And for once, OP is not a faggot, he is our savior

But they're completely different. One is caleld combi bolter and the other is called storm bolter.

Get fucked all you cock suckers who said windriders were 41 points a model - suck my dick

Based russian.

danke schön

does deploying from a tyrannocyte count as moving?

Convention.
It doesn't matter so there's no reason not to just continue with the names people are used to.

Fuuuuck, GW killed Guard platoons, a squad of ten counts as 1 troop choice now, fuck fuck fuck

Only for shooting purposes.
You can still actually move as normal.

Havent checked the actualy link, only saw the op pic and assumed it wasnt there. My mistake.

arent they 35 with a scatter laser

Did I miss something, or can they no longer blob up?

yes, but now i can take heavy weapon teams as my only troops!

One ofmthe detatchments is 6-12 troops choices, and you can take multiple detatchments.

Plooton rules being dropped is a non issue.

and no more super apes.

oh well army of servitors it is then.

>plasma when not supercharged does not get hot

Heavy weapon squads are heavy support more, special weapon squads and command squads are elites.

Combined squads are indeed gone. You can get a squad of 50 conscripts though.

true, but:

Thanks alot OP, we all appreciate your work.

Jokero and Daemonhosts are still there. Henchmen are all just broken into separate elites choice of one or more of that type of model rather than mixed in one unit.

yeah.

and jokaero don't have uber-finger-banger anymore.

also their buffing ability is kicked in the dick - albeit not too heavily.

Castellan Crowe goes from AP 2 to AP -

Fucking dumb. I'd understand some rebalancing, but turning a close combat master into a scrub with a sword is fucking lame. Weakest model in Grey Knights now.

That detachment requires you to take 3 elites, 3 fast attacks and 3 heavy supports as well. though I guess you can take several battalion detachments if you want to spam infantry

It's so they can update everything yearly with a few pages, you colossal retard.

True, and since IG HQ choices are so cheap the compulsory 1-2 HQ from an elite or heavy support detachment is definitely a non-issue.

so, the primaris rhino is not able to transport primaris..

and the new dreadnought is only viable for smurfs .. same for centurion units

fucking hell

Custodes special rules page is missing. Anyone have it?

Can anyone red pill me on how good IG are now?
How about nids?

don't see a new dread myself.
and centurions are not - so are for everyone.

and primaris rhino is from command tanks pair...

No, it is for turning the fanbase into braindead casuals that just buy the models and stop bitching at them about how broken their game is.

If that was the case they wouldn't have included point costs at all, dipshit

Bullgryn with slabshields get a 2+ save, mmm.

Hmmm, are the rules for stuff like what Heavy d6 type weapons do in this leak or can someone tell me what it means?

If a weapon is Assault 6 it just gets to roll 6 attacks right? So what about Heavy D6? Roll d6 attacks? Is blast template gone?

no, they are not listed in example the bloodangels, darkangels or wau waus

Blast and flame templates are replaced by roll D? for number of attacks. You then roll to hit, wound, and if they fail their save, roll for Damage, which is how many wounds they take after failing a save.

Nids are great, mostly due to overlapping rules, incredible mobility and insertion options, and balls-out insane CC monsters.

Guardsmen, im not sure of, their standby tanks, the leman russ regular and demolisher variants, are now kinda average. Predators give them a serious run for their money. Blobguard seems dead. Baneblade companies might be a thing you see these days, and i for one welcome our superheavy overlords.

>Russ face when
Chads beware

>No gifts of the gods or daemonic rewards or anything.
Man, random tables was half the reason why I took my chaos marines or daemons off the shelf. I'll admit that it could get a bit out of hand, especially with chaos daemons, but I wasn't expecting a total removal. Maybe they'll bring them back with the codices, when they add a bit more flavor into the new edition.

Wau Waus Is that English?
English Do you speak it?

>Overlapping rules
Please explain

What builds can you see being made from what you understand so far? I've been in the hobby for a little less than two decades but only ever painted/converted because my cynical friends assuring me that whatever edition at the time was bad and not worth getting into. Seems like this one changed their minds though and everyone's aboard.

sorry, I mean woof woof (space wolfs)

Do chaplains in power armor or with jump packs not exist anymore?

so, can I play the new dreadnought and centurions with darkangels and other chapters ?

I got hard for nothing....

Side note, wew, stormbolters are still shit, i mean, rapid fire 2 thats cool i guess, but dont that mean i cant even shoot them and charge now?

The classics, Nidzilla (big gribbly monsters everywhere) and Horde (we have more gaunts than they have bullets) are both viable. For an example of synergy, Genestealers are as rapey as ever in cc but now have excellent movement and an invuln. If a Broodlord is nearby, they hit on 2+, and they also have the option to sneak in to the battle by trygon tunnel, which is within charge range-and if its a must-reach charge, the nids have a psychic power to move forward. Combine any of these and an excellent unit that was once dogshit due to paying out the arse for its CC ability but never making it to combat due to its frailty, lack of saves and sharing movement speed with plague marines and nurglings. Nids in general seem to be able to be a serious competitor for best theoryhammered army, or at least simplest to get a great list out of if you understand competitive play.

>nurgle gets its own discipline
>thousand sons get dark hereticus
Bullshit
total fucking bullshit

So when are the codices dropping cause these rules fucking suck?

>codices
You're not in seventh anymore, dorothy-these are the codices

Just buy the TSons book when it comes out next year.

Only $39.99!

Kys retard we know they're not.

They are, way in the back and out of mind.
Why flip through pages when you can just use some models you and friends agree to?

>drive.google.com/open?id=0B4IGo22sDo4zdEtrRmEyelg2TkU

these are a temporary stopgap. Codices are comming too

>understand competitive play
That's where the problem lies sadly. I understood the competitivity of the last edition pretty well but only by word of mouth. I'll likely have to look at other people's lists so I don't make the mistake of creating gaps in my list where I can't TAC.

Is flying circus still a thing? Are devourers on flyrants still the go to or is dedicated CQC the suggested way to run them?

Unless ive gone blind it doesnt say you can charge after firing some guns anymore.

I actually think they are ok, blob guard can be achieved with conscripts. I love the fact that Officers are no longer part of the squad, the downside being that your flushed for Elites slots.

anyone?
