I've heard a lot of stories about various Argentum sessions that get cancelled because of his schedule, and then also can't re-schedule because he's running so much stuff. Also some allegations about nepotism in his roster picks.

I can fix your problem in three words: Don't use them.
The best way to modify caravan rules is to just run any encounter that would use them as a normal encounter. Sure, it might be slower, but just put the caravan wagons on the battle mat and have the PCs have to defend them from monsters.

He's in deep with the cabal and may be the true commander of it.

I'm not a huge fan of playing the same character theme in concurrent games, mostly. Lord knows I won't actually get in to both though.

Well, now I feel lame with my samurai question.

Player A in my group is leaving to move out of state. In the last campaign my group played (I run now, but that one was ran by Player B), Player A had to miss the final session when we stormed the BBEG's fort and took them down. Player B suggested to me that instead of running another session of my current campaign, I let him run a final final session of our last campaign, as a kind of farewell gift to Player A. I think that idea is great, and am also looking forward to breaking out my old character one last time.

On the other hand, I might be canceling the campaign I've been running too, since we're losing a player. I'm still unsure whether I want to salvage things or not.
