Space Marine Chapter Creation

After consulting with the Administratum we have concluded that this space does not have enough marines in it,
so lets make a memorable chapter to fill the gaps in the Imperial war machine

Fist off the bat, let us start by solidifying their origin, their purpose

Why Was The Chapter Founded? (d10)

Rolled 10 (1d10)

Crusade - "We need people running around and hitting the Imperium's enemies. Found a Chapter!"

A fine choice, defense is for xenos

When Was The Chapter Founded? (d100)

Crusade - "We need people running around and hitting the Imperium's enemies. Found a Chapter!"

Rolled 52 (1d100)

38th Millenium

Not too young and not too old, just right

Who was the Chapter's Progenitor? (d100)

Rolled 72 (1d100)

Vulcan Lives *STOMP* *STOMP*

Nope, that would be dark angels.

Dark Angels

We can go dark angels OR salamanders, if we get a 3 people vote,
since salamanders are badass

Gene-seed purity (d10)

Rolled 4 (1d10)

voting for that

Pure - Same as progenitor in terms of purity, and will maintain close links with it

Pure black skin and pure red eyes, you know, the "good guys"
or
Purely dark and angely

Chapter Demeanour (d10)

Rolled 9 (1d10)

Brothers in Battle - Hos before bros? *BLAM* No.

"WE LIVE AND DIE AS BROTHERS" - dow1 chaplain

If they have one, what mutation do they have? d10

Rolled 25 (1d100)

need to roll if we do have one (>90)

Go ahead d100

oh, i see what you did, whoops

okay, so we pure, next roll isss

If one exists, what is the Chapter's Flaw? (d10)

Rolled 8 (1d10)

we do have one, and it is...

Why bother with boring old Space Marines when they could be new shiny super Priumus Marines? Non-Primus Marines are obsolete anyway and need to be replaced.

I realy need to learn to pay more attention

Mutation: Lost zygote

If one exists, what is the Chapter's Flaw? (d10)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Prius Marines just regular Space Marines souped up with high-quality gear and Custodes-tier geneseed? If so, how would they invalidate regular SM chapters if you have to go from one to another?

>inb4 I've taken bait or REALLY haven't been keeping up with 40K lore

No, they're actually different enough to the point where they have three extra organs on top of all the ones a normal Marine has. Their gene-seed is a mix of all the loyalist Primarchs and a few Custodian bits as well for good measure.

GW are really pushing that they're better then normal Marines.

>Prius marines

Rolled 4 (1d10)

The Flaw is...

Pride in the Colours - The Chapter hates doing anything that covers their livery, including wearing Deathwatch black

Hardly a flaw, they have to represent the emperor's fury as much as deliver it

Figure of Legend (d100)

Rolled 43 (1d100)

Chapter Master

Deeds of Legend (d100)

Rolled 5 (1d100)

Rolled 38 (1d100)

alternative reroll

The figure is remembered as the bane of the Orks, to such an extent that his name is known to the vile greenskins even to this day.

So orks were the crusade's target

Chapter homeworld (d100)
01-30 Hive World

Rolled 57 (1d100)

Chapter world...

also
votes for which one?
I vote the latter, as it is more dramatic

Feral World

savages
youtube.com/watch?v=3oEWA7UglB4

Homeworld terrain (d100)

Rolled 8 (1d100)

Jungle

Feral Jungle world, how totaly unique

Rule of homeworld (d10)

Rolled 8 (1d10)

Distant rule - "You see that castle up there? It's inhabited by the mighty sky-warriors of Emp-rar. Sometimes they come and steal our children."

Chapter organisation (d10)

Rolled 10 (1d10)

Unique organisation

The codex astartes? never heard of it

Combat doctrine (d10)

Rolled 8 (1d10)

Siege

Massive bloody cannons

Specialty restrictions (units the chapter cannot field) - Only roll if Unique Organisation was selected (d100)

Rolled 1 (1d10)

Apothecary

bleeding is for losers

Special equipment- Only roll if Divergent or Unique Organisation was selected (d100)

Rolled 42 (1d100)

Here, use this when you're done to paint your Marines.

Rare Weaponry: Whether through the blessing of the Adeptus Mechanicus or sheer good fortune, this Chapter has a large stock of weaponry that is considered rare amongst the other Chapters. It is seen as a symbol of honour to wield one of these weapons in battle. Examples: Astartes Assault Cannon, Digital Weapons.

Giant fucking flamer is my vote

What form do the Chapters' beliefs take? (d100)

Rolled 39 (1d100)

Revere the Primarch - "Our Spiritual Liege is better than yours!"

The ork-killer is now a religious figure

At what strength is the Chapter? (d10)

VULCAN LIVES!
Giant Flamer for melting fortress's gates

Rolled 1 (1d10)

Massive siege guns, too. Sons of Vulkan who smell of phyceline and gun powder.
Endure the fire to get the big guns in range and blow a hole in their lines then storm the breach with massive flamers.

Endangered: The Chapter numbers only a handful of Companies or less having suffered devastating losses in combat, accident, or dramatic genetic instability. If recovery is even possible it will take many decades, making every Battle-Brother (and his Progenoids) an invaluable resource.

Who are your Chapter friendly with? (d100)

...

Rolled 64 (1d100)

oops

NOBODY

Ecclesiarchy

They worship their chapter master, but still they are buddies with the Ecclesiarchy,
now that's a heroic feat

Who are the Chapter's enemies?(d100)

Rolled 13 (1d100)

The Orks (alternatively, you may select a particular Waaagh! or Warboss)

Allright, rolling is over,
now we flesh out the lore and colors and how many different ways an ork can get roasted to ash

So how many of them are Marines Mk I and how many are Primaris Marines? How do they deal with the return of Guilliman and the splitting f the Imperium?

All are og marines, and they are far removed from the main bulk of the imperium,
which is why they can do their unorthodox shit, so it does not affect them that much realy
