How can Fulgrim be so based?

#
>“Swift as a striking viper, Fulgrim attacked, all four blades driving down at his brother primarch so quickly that they did not seem to pass through the intervening air. Guilliman caught them on the edge of the Gladius Incandor. Its field generator smoked at the effort of halting them. The resulting eruption of energy threw both primarchs backwards.
Fulgrim attacked again. Guilliman cried out as one blade found its way past his parries and left a smoking groove in the ceramite around his left arm. He would not win this fight.
‘Thiel, Andros,’ voxed Guilliman. ‘Now.’
There was a sound like a sigh that turned into a rumbling groan. The Heliopolis boomed with conflicting resonances, and the Phoenix Gate exploded inwards, showering the room with gobbets of molten bronze. The Ultramarines of the First and Second companies came charging in, bolters firing at the daemon primarch battling their lord.”

>“At last! Your true colours,’ said Fulgrim. ‘For all your talk of honour, you will not face me alone!"

Girlyman BTFO

Guilliman was always a third tier fighter, compared to Fulgrim who was one of the best.

“Join with me,’ said Fulgrim seductively. ‘You must be tired of all this strife. We can bring an end to war, and revel together in sweet excess for all eternity. I can show you things, pleasures, you would never have dreamed existed. You think of the warp as a hell, but it can be a heaven also."

What did he mean by this

>"Would you fuck me? I'd fuck me"

Hold up let me get this straight.
>Flugrim one of the best confirmed duelists amongst the primarchs
>Twice as many limbs and four times as many weapons.
>SuperSuperHuman further enhanced by a literal god that can turn a regular human into a chapter killer via ascendance.

How does he fail to instagib Guilliman who as other have pointed out is pretty low on the Primarch duelist level.

Even after all that he has the nerve to talk about honor, which is also strange considering Guilliman is not known for being Honorable to a fault like Dorn, Khan or Angron. Guilliman is the King of Contingency, his legacy is built on practicality and efficiency, to him honour is entertained until it is a hindrance. in fact the greatest contributions to the codex Astartes by any of his brothers was from Corax the master in Guerrilla warfare.

Fulgrim a shit. The Lion, the Wolf or the Hun could have rekt this incarnation.

Glue his figure to a little disc or square of plastic. That's how he can be based.

Guilliman isn't that far beneath the other primarchs, he was able to beat the shit out of Angron and Lorgar

Each primarch was a specialist in a certain unique speciality of combat, and war created to be the best at specific job. They were Good at everything else.

Of the ones I know that were great at melee fighting, Fulgrim, Russ, Sanguinius, and Angeron seemed the best at it. The others were still good, make no mistake and that's Good for a primarch good.

Need a battle plan to win a war with maximum kill/death ratio, ask Horus or Gulliman.

>Fresher then Angron
>Better place mentally (not driven 3/5ths of the way insane with pain and regret)
>severe weapon advantage (power fists vs chainaxes)
>still came close to getting killed

Imagine for a moment what might have happened if angron had not spent weeks raging across the planet with lorgar's poison in his ears- or if the nails had been quiet that day

More like DE-based! Whaaaaat? I'm saying he's a pervert

Did he mean this in a "hey let's go bang daemonettes and snort space coke forever, bro!" Way or a fucked up "We"re going to have sex in the missionary position for the sole purpose of recreation" kind of way?

Both.

>It's a "Fulgrim gets all the fandom attention while the other primarchs get shafted" thread

Fulgrim getting attention de facto means that Slaanesh isn't going anywhere in 40K and quite likely might be getting a release, which is something many people were foolishly though understandably worried about.

If they would have read the new leaks they'd know that slaanesh is mentioned explicitly roughly 1000 times and that emperor's children and daemons of slaanesh are both in the 8th edition core index books (which also include every single other model that is currently for sale by GW)

It wasn't that he was far beneath the other Primarchs as a duelist, he was an engine of war just like his brothers he was just relatively "weak" when compared to them.

He wasn't particularly strong like Manus and Vulkan, he wasn't as quick as the Lion and the Night Haunter or as graceful as the Angel or the Phoenician and he certainly did not have the hands on experience Russ, Angron and arguably the Khan did.

That being said, pre heresy Guilliman was till the biggest mary sue out of all the primarchs, because his strength was that while he couldn't beat his brothers in their specific strengths he would always make sure he was at the very least "Just a little bit beneath them.

His true strength as a Primarch was that he had no weaknesses.

Yea, I believe this is in part why one of Lorgars pet dogs (forget which) referred to Guilliman as the Emperor's echo

His biggest strength was that he wasn't a raging psychopath, venal obsessive, or massive autist like 90% of his brothers.

The lore always seems to gloss over the fact that Angron is not psychic whatsoever. Angron was arguably the most lethal primarch in close combat, and he was not in the slightest bit psychically attuned when achieving that

>His true strength as a primarch was that he had no weaknesses.

In the scope of the Emperors plans though his practicality did come at a fault though as notions such as Honor and Loyalty came second to reason, this would come to manifest itself as the Imperium Secundus. Had the Sol system fallen they would have lost the golden throne and the emperors light along with Mars.

Guillimans Imperium would have been no better than the Tau and would have been shattered by the first black crusade and completely wiped out by the Beasts Waagh.

MODS!

In what world is "acts like a normal person" considered "having no weaknesses"? I understand that you'd prefer Gilligan to be a man child like all the traitor primaries, but you have to understand that Roubettes feats say a lot more about how shittily written his brothers are then they do about him as a character.

Like, people compare Guilliman to Angron and say "man, Guilliman is such a sue" when the reality is that Angron is just an extremely poorly written character.

This

My headcanon says Angron had a psychic aura of sorts as a born front line leader and the Primarch of camaraderie it makes sense.

All of the primarchs were psychically attuned to their gene sons to some degree, but none more so than Angron and the World eaters. The Pre-Crusade Warhounds were as close to World Eaters as you could get without the butchers nails. In fact the legion underwent less structural changes after meeting their primarch than even the designer trefoil legions.

Unfortunately the nails robbed him of any control and instead became an aura of rage. If I recall correctly there was an incident where Angron was chained deep under his battlebarge and his constant psychic roars were driving all the ship inhabitants into a frenzy causing them to crowd the already popular fighting pits.

There is a point where Kharn can't deal with his Primarchs psychic raging anymore and finds himself on auto pilot walking through the corridors until he gets to the fighting pits where he duels one of Angrons elite honor guard to a standstill at which point Angrons screams cause him to blackout and when he comes to he has already butchered the praetorian.

Just a theory. Pic related is by far my favorite portrayal of any of the Primarchs.

>In what world is "acts like a normal person" considered "having no weaknesses"?

Take a look at the people we trust to govern our world right now, we have Primarchs such as Kim, Putin and Trump to name a few, our world leaders are extremely flawed riddled with xeonophobia, hair triggers, greed and extreme pride.

Now bestow those qualities upon a god of war with the resources to raze whole star systems.

The ability to be reasonable or "Act like a normal person" is just as much a superpower in 40k as it is in ours.

>A traitor trying to talk about honour

Chaosfags, when will they learn?

The situations you're describing happens AFTER he becomes a Daemon Prince of Khorne. Of course he has an aura of rage. He's become a fragment of the rage god. When he was mortal-ish, he had no psychic presence.

He was losing badly to Angron. Everyone does.

Haven't been to Veeky Forums much in the last few months. I know Rowboat woke up and started to get mankind's collective shit together. What's all this about Fulgrim and his boys?

Novel explained how Roboute ended up in stasis.

when will you skubwarriors realize that gw will never allow Robby Gorillaman to lose?

>How can Fulgrim be so based?

>FUCKING CORPSEMASTER'S LAPDOG GET OUT REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Is Fulgrim /ourguy/?

Fulgrim is only the guy of himself and Slaanesh. He's made sure to give everyone else a good reason to hate him.
