Starting again after a few years of not playing. Will playing Kaalia of the Vast or Jenara, Asura of War decks get me auto-nuked by everyone else? I usually got ganged up on when I played them when I started playing EDH.

Jenara is a voltrony commander. You'll get nuked when you're an appropriate threat. Kaalia is "If I turn sideways I win." She will get focused hard the second you cast her.
