How are muh Nurgle?
Jayden Edwards

Jackson Peterson
How would one go about weathering like this?
Adrian Gutierrez
How the fuck do i weather black models?
Ethan Hill
You paint them dark gray instead of black, and then chip in a lighter color.
Jordan Russell
Get some of the shit they put on the inside of citadel boxes and dab it in leadbelcher. Get rid of almost all of the iron breaker and then lightly apply the sponge to the model.
Joshua Baker
Decided to refluff my Spirit Host (only basecoated) as an Ynnari force. Want to make my bases look like an "Eldar Graveyard" to match. Currently just a sand-like basing with scatteres ruins. How would you recommend painting it all up to achieve the desired spoopy effect?
John Reyes
Is it possible to do camo face paint (like pic) at 28mm without it looking stupid? Any examples?
Caleb Nelson
Well since Vespids actually look half decent in 8th ed but the models look awful, I was thinking of making some costum made Vespids out of breachers + backpacks from puppetswar. They're both roughly the same size and wear equivalent weapons and armor Wat'cha think?
David Torres
how do you best make use of an airbrush, I have one, but i;ve only ever used it for basing since i'm too timid to actually try anything more than broad swaths.
Jonathan Cooper
coold idea, it seems like a natural evolution i n tau jump infantry just one step below steath suit.
Wyatt Taylor
Sorry I went to bed after posting.
>What colors IIRC I used Vallejo Model Color Burnt Umber and Game Color Bonewhite for the basecoat. then highlighted with VMC Ivory.
This is extra but before painting the armor I painted on VMC Chocolate Brown and stippled on Mahogany Brown. Then applied Chipping Medium.
Christopher Stewart
Best way to seal figures after painting? I see some people use Testors Dull Coat, but Army Painter's sealent is also supposed to be good. Anyone have a good guide?
Luis Moore
sponge metal onto the black
sponge brown onto the feeties
Bentley Wood
all raptors armies look stupid
Jace Bell
Looks pretty neat. Base rims need some neatening up
Asher Wood
Does anyone have suggestions on how I should paint my Dark Eldar?
Elijah Lopez
Not him but what kinda sponge do yall use. Does tamiya make a good paint sponge or st?
Julian Clark
I swear, Cawl just never ends. It's like he's a fractal, there are always details I've missed.
Jordan Wilson
I'm sorry user, I didn't quite get that... the massive faggot cock you've currently got in your mouth seems to be impeding your ability to post clearly somehow. Anyone else have any actual suggestions?
Aiden Lee
That's a big boy.
Brandon Phillips
I know that feel user.
Levi Rodriguez
I'll do moldlines and gaps after, but how is my sculpting? Making valhallan/cossack/winter rough riders 1/2
Caleb Johnson
2/2 Does the helmet work or should I keep using bare heads and make funny hats.
Luis Mitchell
They look okay but his right arm looks like a pipe.
Noah Peterson
Bright yellow with white trim and checkered patterns, since Dark Eldar love masochism. Have fun!
Andrew Perry
...
Isaiah Sullivan
go to the dollar store and buy a sponge
Tyler Diaz
The helmet might work if you put a point on it like one of those boyar helmets. Right now he looks like a generic chaos outrider.
Your sculpting is def wip but it's getting there. This guy's coif/collar and the first dude's right arm need particular attention.
Matthew Lee
all raptors armies look stupid
Benjamin Gomez
Sponge from old blister packs works the best
Evan Richardson
To not paint Raptors.
Daniel Gomez
Any anons have an idea what I could use to represent a Zvorda dwarf from Trudvang? They're essentially 8 foot tall dorfs. Reaper has some Giants, but they're all just a bit too big.
Andrew Sanchez
Thanks for that. What do you mean by needs particular attention? The right is too tubey like said so id need to shave it down, but what about the collar? too big? How would I sculpt a spike of that size? Thanks for the help.
Nicholas Bell
I'd say maybe modify/find helmets and boots to fit the look while making them stand out as separate types of models from the normal kit in addition to the jump packs.
Asher Morales
Found these troll minis, look fairly similar to what you're after outwith the 2-toed feet. All sold out though.
What do you guys think about my Salamanders? Would you recognise them even with the red bolters?
The next step would be adding some flames to the shoulder pads.
Leo Baker
And the plasma coil isn't complete yet.
Hudson Long
Got my Madrak3 all painted, this was a fun one to paint. Could do without all the little details though...
Zachary Martin

The first dude's arm is also sticking out of the middle of his torso like a pipe fixture. As for the collar, if it's supposed to be a big fur collar you need to round out the top and separate it from the helmet. With the way it's shaped right now and how close it is to being flush with the helmet it looks like it's supposed to be a mail coif. You could make it a coif, and it would fit with the helmet, but the holes need to be way more numerous and uniform to look like mail.
To be honest I'm not really sure how you'd go about making the point. I'd try building up the helmet with putty until it looks like a top hat, letting it dry, then sanding it down till you get the shape you want.
Cameron Walker
Damn, wish I had any unopened ones on hand.
Angel Watson
I like the red bolters lad
Isaiah Rodriguez
Got it, thanks. Kinda want to do boyar guard know but he'll that'd be hard. I found a spike from a maul and glued it on top and filed it down and it works out well.
Leo Lopez
How about crimson armor with lots of blue and purple hair?
Grayson Williams
Thx. I did it because I felt there is already enough black on the colour scheme. Might change it a little big for my Devastator Squad tho, since their weapons are much bigger.
Kayden Thompson
For you.
Andrew Morgan
Second ever Blood Bowl model and one of the first models I've painted to completion since high school (and when I painted then I only knew how to base coat).
Jordan Gomez
yeah that's an idea, any suggestions for heads? make them look more bestial like the vespids or just make em a different kind of tau by changing up the heads
Joseph Price
the big fat dick in my mouth in no way makes my message any less clear; raptors are gay i should know, i'm a massive faggot
Tyler Phillips
Found pic related on the internet. These jumppacks seem to be the right size.
Cameron Butler
>that one tau looking at his hand >"I'm so fucked up"
Christian Morris
If Plaguebearer Senpai is here, thank you for the inspiration.
Poxwalkers for my LGS
Ian Perry
>you will never paint this good because you cannot understand out woo, even with the instructions nurglebro shared feels bad man they look amazing
Evan Hernandez
Thanks, but that's a shame... what are you having a problem with, it was really easy, those 3 took
Chase Barnes
HOLY FUCK THATS SEXY
Henry Wright
>cyanosis >jaundice >somehow being covered in algae
Great diseases, user.
Carson Gutierrez
i'd stick with edge highligting, with a good base black i'd reccommend any of the following
torquoise sea green dark purple electric blue orange
it's easier to start dark and have a second highlight colour, that is just what i do though
Jose Rodriguez
I'm contributing my Plague Hulk / Defiler standin. He's pretty much finished, although i still manage to find details that i've missed.
Clean, simple and efficient. I very much enjoy your subtle chipping effects.
Looks pretty nurglish to me. Good work there. If I had to point out any shortcomings, it would be, that the green looks a tad too flat for my taste – although that might just be the picture quality.
Sponging with any dark brown is the usual way to go.
These guys kick ass! I also enjoy the simple helmet, gives him a very worn, experienced feel.
Kayden Foster
Not much further now
Just gotta finish the cockpit and weapons, then decide what to do with the stuff sticking out from the wings and cleanup
Landon Rivera
I just don't understand the washing process. it also doesn't help that I don't have any other glaze than Bloodletter, so I can't use Guilliman blue either. I attempted it, and outright felt like I ruined a model.
Brandon Reyes
how'd you paint those nice white armor-panels? all of it looks good, but that really sticks out to me.
Luke Richardson
This will take me some time...
Isaiah Scott
I heard that Reaper was working on a multi-headed dragon that totally isn't Tiamat.. Is that it?
Jordan Evans
In all but name I got the email sayin' mine was on the way a few days ago
Matthew Edwards
wonder how many times you'll post it before you actually start
Anthony Myers
Herald of slaanesh conversion. Love the old model but don't have the arms any more so I put Demonette seeker champion claws in their place. Pose isn't great but nothing you can do with a model this static and those claws.
Zachary Thompson
...
Jason Flores
This isn't a primer right, it's only a base coat?
So either way, I need to spray the stuff black or white first?
Chase Parker
No, It's primer. I have no idea how that rumor got started
Samuel Hall
It literally says on the website: >Mephiston Red Spray is designed for basecoating all Citadel miniatures. When sprayed over an undercoat, it's a fast way to get a uniform base of colour onto your models. >basecoating >sprayed over an undercoat
And yet, in the Orruk painting guide it's says they have primers available in base coat colors for undercoating.
Zachary Mitchell
Did some minor touchups to my gregor clegane - I was hoping to show you a complete model but I had about 2 meters of primer on the smaller bits, so I've stripped them and am gonna re-do them.
Let me know how my plate mail and tunic look, it's my 2nd attempt at such a thing.
Noah Richardson
I find that genuinely disgusting
well done then I guess
Robert Long
...
Chase Gray
So is it a primer or not?
Jayden Richardson
It is. I've known people who use it and it is.
Adrian Howard
It's not a fucking primer, Games Workshop do not sell a primer except in a paint pot a primer is a specific type of paint, that's just regular paint it's not a fucking primer.
Sebastian Lopez
According to their Orruk painting book, it's both. It says it multiple times.
Brody Hill
I'm looking for very small drone models that look like they're just large enough to mount a stormbolter on. (and similar specialist-size weapons)
Both crawling and hovering drones are acceptable.
Ideally, something like the jetpacks in and , but smaller scaled.
Aiden Johnson
I've only worked on the primary metals, the face, and the cloak. I'm thinking of doing a light galaxy pattern on the cloak and a dark green for the clothes. Opinions?
Ryan Wilson
Can you try to take a better picture? The photo you posted isn't focused at all.
Eli Powell
Okay good, I was worried because I used their retributor gold spray and it's been great so far
Adrian Anderson
Galaxy pattern sounds cool and I've been thinking of doing a galaxy themed SM. Would appreciate how you hope to achieve the look.
Levi Gutierrez
Purple and blue would have been better to purge those mutants.
Christian Peterson
So which is it?
Wyatt Martin
Here
Fling a few colors of paint (blue, green, red, white) in random specs, touch up and fill in those specs, and then expand the larger ones in to star shapes (Xs and crosses and the like).
Carter Lee
primer =/= basecoat
They don't use the word primer, cos it ain't a fucking primer.
It serves the same purpose as a primer, which is an even flat coat of paint that the other paint will adhere to... but it's not primer.
But it's fine for its intended purpose regardless.
Joshua Davis
Finished up the salvaged land raider, thing was in horrible shape when I first bought it used
I hope I never have to work with one of these again, its a good looking model but man its a pain in the ass to assemble/paint
Joseph Jones
making a squad of power weapons and pistols.
Zachary Perry
How do I go about using Mark 3 armor kits and making them look Chaos-y enough to be considered chaos?
Bentley Gray
Looking for some advice on color scheme. I want to paint up some tanks in sort of a dull red for the main hull, with a paler white/tan/grey as an overlaying camo pattern on top of that. Sort of a red desert kind of look?
My only plan so far was to go for a Mephiston Red base, go for Wazdakka red on top of that, and then use Screaming skull as the main camo/detail color.
Would that work at all or am I way off base here?
Thomas White
I have spent years trying to strip these. I have tried concentrated floor cleaner pure mineral spirits scrubbing for hours on end and so forth, I even let them soak in Simple Green for several months and I could never get the paint off.
Finally I decided to try acetone concentrated comma I had no hopes because mineral spirits and paint thinner did nothing. It came off in less than 10 minutes. What the f***. How the f*** did GW paints or whatever survive mineral spirits for two days comma oven cleaner for weeks, Simple Green for months. I have no idea but finally it is done I can finally begin painting my sisters Army after putting it off for years.
Gabriel Hill
It's clearly marketed as a basecoat a.k.a. a way to put down an even layer of a primary color you'd like to build up from.
It's not a primer, and thus will not provide added surface quality to reduce the amount of paint needed to affect a layered color change, nor provide a well-bonded surface on metal minis.
Daniel Martin
So does that mean I shouldn't spray it straight onto plastic?
The book sure seems to suggest that.
Dylan Reed
Sacrifice a mini to test. Hell, some bitz and sprue will give you a better idea than listening to autists argue back and for here.
David Cruz
the skin could use some more definition and make the eyes either white or red. Rest looks fine though.
Owen Lopez
Yeah, that's true. I'm mostly asking because it's hard to get aerosols here and my local GW was out of red.
I'll just have to suck it up and order it to try it.
