Oh yeah. When they scale they're nightmares. But I've had my fair share of experience vs Necros at high, mid and low TV. They are still more fun to fight than snorefest Orcs or "I only need to roll 2+ to win" Wood elves

Why do Chaos Warriors, fitted in full plate chaos armour, go down like mooks when things get bloody?

Asking from both fluff and ingame but mostly fluff. That armour is solid, should be near impervious to punches.

AV9 is still a 1 in 4 chance of breaking.

It's not like they're the only players sporting heavy duty armor. They're not even the most expensive (and thus worse to lose or have injured).

If it's a real problem for you, just take +AV if you roll a 10 :)

Av9 is pretty good. Also Blood Bowl world is different from regular Fantasy, you can't bring the same shit from the battle field to the pitch

Well I go for red and blue. Its simple really, just put some mix of green in their skin colour to give it a bit of a more pronounced look.

A simple example would be your main team colour (purple) for the armour pieces, metallic or silver for the protective padding or vests, your second team colour for their regular shirts (grey) and their skin colour (green).

If anything Goblins can have a really good selection of colour schemes.

How about after the first blitz you start using an anti-blitz offensive setup?

Because all of the setups were for fast scoring except the first, and because getting blitzed doesn't make your chance of getting blitzed again higher. Plus, anti-blitz isn't very effective when you're down mans.

just set up for the blitz dummy. why wouldn't you in the first place unless you're against a very slow team
