I think everything but the veils themselves are okay.

DSP has put out 1 (One) veil after Akashic mysteries, which is in the April Fool's book. Despite the 'joke' book, it's an honestly solid veil -- Something I'd say that's higher powered than the other veils, but that's a good thing, since most veils aren't that great.

Overall, I'm still waiting for the 'Not!Pharaoh' that Gareth hinted at a few weeks ago. We might get new veils out of that, which should really help set the direction that Akashic Mysteries 2 (If we get it) will go.

All the talk about mythic games in the last almost makes me want to run a game where the players have to impress a cavalcade of gods with feats, ranging from making Asmodeus make a contract that is not in his favor, impressing Kurgess with a physical feat, impressing Nethys with a magical feat, creating something that is as beautiful or more so than Shellyn and so forth.

So I'm mulling over how to structure another interaction with the Corruption System that feels unique from the others. Thinking about maybe a way to give rage before overdosing on corruption, but doing so builds Corruption and pushes them towards unconsciousness. Maybe pair it with something like, they only gain half as much corruption from healing as humans do?

Akashic Kineticist doesn't really excite me because I don't really like Kineticist.

The classes are kinda boring, yeah, but the archetypes are where it's at.

If you ran this idea, I would immediately start construction of roads, fixing the kingdoms finances, and moving the capital to a more trade friendly location.

Akashic Mysteries is a significant improvement over Magic of Incarnum. The classes are solid and unique with cool perks and abilities. I think Guru is far and away the best of the three classes since it's got a lot of versatility, but it's more about its class features with its veil list serving a supporting function. Vizier has the most versatility but is much more reliant on the veils you choose. Picking a bad ser of veils can be a hindrance and its veilshifting ability doesn't allow you to rebind, so a few bad choices can leave you operating at lower power through the rest of the day. Daevic is kind of a Paladin or Su Barbarian type character. Its passions are narrow but very powerful, with Wrath being the meat grinder and Desire being the more tricky option. Dominion is more of a leader with sword and board abilities.

Blue Mages function as spellthieves, and learn "Blue Magic" from having enemy abilities cast on them.
As such, they're the only class in the series that can learn Death/Doom
They're also decent in melee, but not nearly so much as Red Mages

You aren't exactly in the right forum for a campaign that takes itself seriously and doesn't involve magical anime girls.

Two out of three of the classes barely interact with the subsystem. They're not veilweavers, they're random jackasses with the option to weave veils, and Vizier, the only one that's actually, you know, A FUCKING VEILWEAVING CLASS, suffers from Ssalarn thinking it's the best thing ever to be able to completely-but-not-really rewrite your entire build.

Guru is boring and its promises of utility are lies. Daevic is boring and it's a standard martial with weird optics.

If you're going to make that infusion launcher be an akashic veil anyway, and you know a bunch about the subsystem, why not a general Akashic Alchemist Archetype? With the same handicap regarding just replacing poison features and persistent mutagen that I mentioned last thread. Of course, I should likely get much more familiar with the subsystem if I'm going to make requests like that.

You need to think with more FUN.

There is no "smaller body". The Giant Robot just has to make do and deal with living in a tiny world. Imagine walking around carefully, or just picking people up at random.

Then, on another world, the rest of the PCs have to deal with being in a space station meant to accommodate Giant Robots.

What about the akashic system would you take to smash together with alchemist.

Akasha is about making pseudo-permament magic items, while alchemy is about making consumable magical items.

Throw me some ideas on how you'd combine the two. I have a few ideas myself, but I'd like to see ideas from those who know more about alchemists.
