Better if they had *something* B4 instead/as well. There's hardly much reason to pick them over the Rui Shi or Hsien haris team.
All regular bounty hunter profiles are now permanent and available to IS only.
Alexander Young
Except it says Wotan.
Leo Harris
Latest versions should mention it's permanent. Also, Bostria specifically noted its not just Wotan only.
Cooper Johnson
Sweet. That will be a noticeable buff for ISS.
Michael Myers
They seem to have cut the note that all the bounty hunters count as Regular troops for ISS from Unit Profiles 3.8, apart from one mention of Sforza RBH.
Jace Taylor
I ordered the starter bundle during the sale, but there's a bunch of pieces missing. Is this normal?
Charles Williams
No its not. Check out the missing part stickies on the forums to claim the lost bits.
Keep those little pieces of papers with the codes on them, you would likely need them in the claims.

So pano guy here. Had my first few games in. Game is awesome. I have a few tactical questions though. First how do I stop haqqislam assasins killing my small dudes, and second how does pano stop people from raping them with hackers and smoke?
Michael Collins
I occasionally post my painted models here and am currently waiting the much anticipated Hassassin Ayyar and was thinking about a color scheme that's in line of what I already have painted. 1 and 2 is closer to the Fasid, Ghulams, and some other units I've got already painted while 3 and 4 is closer to what I've got painted for my Fiday and Janissaries. Which is your favorite, or the one you think would look best or better with some alterations?
Josiah Cox
>how do I stop haqqislam assasins killing my small dudes Black Friar.
>how does pano stop people from raping them with hackers and smoke Black Friar and ALIVE.
Lucas Lopez
>First how do I stop Haqqislam Assassins killing my small dudes? I'm assuming you're talking about Fidays. Well, if you're not going second out of luck you discover them (which is a bit order inefficient but often necessary) and shoot them (you've got biometric visors from Black Friars which can ignore the negative MODs to discovering, and link teams with MOD bonuses to discovering can also do the trick. Usually you're not dealing with one or two of these guys unless they're doing a Gimmick list as they're kind of expensive, but two with the character Saladin who has Strategos can be quite the strike.
Otherwise, if going second your best bet is to have some mine layers laying mines, if they don't mind their fidays dying at their one action then at least it helps slow them down, if they choos to dodge it removes surprise shot/attack bonuses, otherwise covering most of your flanks with overlapping corner guards, and you'll want some people with high physique and close combat skills to help defend squishies by existing. Black Friar's good too, helps discover to make them lose their surprise against others.
How does pano stop people from raping them with hackers and smoke?
You've got a few sources of defensive hacking (firewalls and such) through regular hacking devices, EVO, and white hacking devices (first being generally more useful and easier to get with a Fusilier) and your own hackers who can stop them through hacking (or shooting). Father Knight's pretty boss with BTS 9 for defending himself. Also, you can just reset, mate.
You've got enough sources of MSV2 and 3 to not worry too much about smoke as you could see through it (plus if you choose to go into a sectorial later, link teams get plenty of sources of Sixth Sense Level 2 to help mitigate its damage against your small dudes).
Jeremiah Ward
As said, Black Friar. Impersonation is a fucking pain in the ass, but you at least have a Biometric Visor attached to a solid MSV L2 troop. Which also helps to negate Smoke. As far as hacking goes, you can use ALIVE or you can just each sectorial's hackers as most have some pretty solid options. Hexas seem like a solid pick for NCA, and maybe Locusts? Naga are actually solid for ASA or even just an AHD from Sikh or Bagh Mari since you don't have as much of a need to worry about people fucking up HI since you'll have negligible amounts of it. For MO, I guess you are sorta fucked as far as access to Fairy Dust goes, which does seem sort of unfortunate. I guess Spec Sergeants or Mulebots?
The fuck do I know about hacking, though.
Dylan Price
Played against a visiting Haqq player a while back that truly indulges himself in the shitlordery of Haqq. Two Fidays, Al-Djabel for a third Impersonator, Infiltrating Yasbir, a Lasiq Sniper, and a core link of Muyibs. It's an enjoyably cancerous list. And made me quite happy our local cheating Haqq player just does QK.
Michael Reed
Saladin makes it even more fun.
Isaiah Richardson
Has anyone noticed how bugged out the RPG Char gen is?
I can barely finish it. Also, fuck them for making me spend a point in choosing a faction and then having a career event that changes my faction to another random one. I m e a n w t f.
Lucas Gutierrez
I don't think it's been updated since it was first put out, and probably won't until the game is actually out.
>random event Well, you see, you have two options: 1. You spend another point to roll again 2. You use the character creation method that lets you buy your way through charge at the cost of not having any points to buy more Infinity points or extra skills or things at the end.
Remember, what you bought was just the character's BIRTH faction, not necessarily their current one.
Adam Cox
>charge Chargen
Hunter Johnson
>I don't think it's been updated since it was first put out, and probably won't until the game is actually out. It's been updated a few times since then. I was always trying to make a Daktari and I remember the Exotic Cosmetic Surgery event leading to a TODO page. However they changed so that you can no longer choose a career event with Life Points, which threw a wrench into my plans. Also there are some inconsistencies with the Core Book and the chargen tool, e.g. in the book you're supposed to spend one point for childhood home and education, while the app asks for two.
Oliver Cruz
The only cancerous thing there is three Fidays and honestly I feel like three Fidays is at least 1 too many, you don't need 3.
Fucking love the Muyib link though, so maybe I am the cancer.
Charles Collins
Muyibs to really rank up there in terms of "core link teams most annoying to face" up there with Riot Grrls and IMO Rodoks.
Jason Nguyen
I really like how they work with universal no. 2. They're not individually hard to put down but the team as a whole is durable, it's a nice touch. They have such a great toolkit for any kind of scenario too.
Easton White
>they changed so that you can no longer choose a career event with Life Points That sounds like a bug, I'm pretty sure you're meant to be able to do that.

Dang it man, stop making amazingly beautiful models and terrain.
Where did you get or how did you make the cans?
Charles Anderson
Thanks user. I posted a detailed tutorial with pictures on my terrain thread in the official forums.
I already had the idea for making these things myself. Anyone have an idea if this kind of acrylic can be bought AND lasered for mortal prices somewhere?
Jace Jenkins
Are you going to put all your Yu-jing models in them?
Logan Brooks
So now that it's been confirmed that for next month a box with the Outrage models will come out, do you think you'll get rules for dead characters.
Actually, come to think of it, are there dead characters you can currently field I might have missed? Like Tycho from the Blood Angels?

The "Strikezone Wotan" footnote on them suggests they aren't permanent.
Hunter Richardson
They are permanent. Said so in the announcement.
Isaiah Howard
Can you show me that?
I definitely never saw anything confirming they were permanent. I saw people leaping to conclusions based on other wording though.
Leo Nguyen
2 seems the best to me.

my vote is for 2, maybe 3 if it had the striped cloak too.

the one that's not gray looks best
Bentley Roberts
My vote's for 4, if you swap the cloak to the same green as the rest of them. Ideally, keeping the striping, too. But I tend to prefer more subdued and plain schemes, so the monotone armor plating has my vote.
Aiden Rivera
All these answers are duly noted. I'm not sure which you mean, which is why I made sure to number them. I think you mean 4 which has all white armor but I'm not too sure.
Thank you all for the replies. Perhaps I should waste some money on two more models and do three schemes. Haha.
Levi Rivera
>And this is where we direct the PanO players
Charles Ross
thanks. Some follow up questions. First one what is an evo, couldn't find a unit or gear named like that.
Second is about the black fraiers, if I take them do they limit the number of msv units I can take , because I like my Aquila guard a lot. would runing 2 of the fusiliers as hackers help .
And the third is about those fidye assasins. When they pop up behind you to stab you can you turn? Because I got realy paranoid last game and deployed all my dudes in 2 man teams watching each others backs, at the time I though it was a great idea. Now I know those fidye also have boarding shotguns.
James Hall
ah and the alive thing, it doesn't have models yet right ?
Eli Sanders
Evo Hacking Device is on your baggage remote profile.
no, SWC an points are your limit.
Kayden Wilson
>PanO >tears >not Yu Jing Do you even lore?
Jayden Nelson
No. I believe the reason is access to them will be limited to single faction and CB wants to avoid butthurt.
Logan Baker
A few threads ago (okay, a while ago), someone was talking about Haqqislam not being dominant on Earth itself (with liberal/moderate/fundamentalist Muslim countries still controlling Mecca), as well as the fact that half of America is covered in Mad Max/Brotherhood of Steel/Necromunda scavenger types and the fact there's some non-O12 countries (iirc Russia as a whole isn't integrated with PanO, and the Russians on Ariadna believe they were abandoned).
How would fluff things like "Haqqislam getting into conflict with Islamist/Salafist/Qutbist countries who are pissed they're liberal represented by Haqq vs Haqq units on board" or "PanO deals with planetside nationalist American militia threats pissed PanO's the new power" work out? Or mods to miniatures?
James Turner
Haqqislam conflict would be pretty viable. One of the main reasons they went to space was their ideological differences with puritan factions.
Don't know about the other one. I don't remember how USA proper citizens, those that remain, live, and they're had plenty of time to get used to the new balance of power. Just use USAdriana instead, that's pretty nuch what it is for.
Cooper Kelly
what is the chance they will go to pano ? don't want to buy proxy models, am not going to use. thx
Carter Rivera
>First one what is an evo, couldn't find a unit or gear named like that. The only EVO hacker in PanO is the Mulebot. It's a hacker with extra support programs that are very good. Look at the hacking helper in the OP, it's a useful collection of all hacking devices and their programs.
>Second is about the black fraiers, if I take them do they limit the number of msv units I can take There is no limit on the number of MSV units you can take in a list.
>would runing 2 of the fusiliers as hackers help Fusilier hackers exist mostly as a way to get cheap supportware, they're not good at much else. Take one and make it use the fairy dust program, that will make all your heavy infantry harder to hack. Additional ones can make your remotes better at fighting, but otherwise there's no need.
>When they pop up behind you to stab you can you turn? If it attacks you, yes. You can use the change facing skill (basically a dodge at PH-3 and instead of moving on success you turn around) against an enemy who takes an action within 8", even if they're outside your line of fire. However the Fiday has stealth, which means it can use short movement skills (move and dodge) without allowing a change facing. But if it attacks or does any other kind of order then you can change facing against it.
Nope. And they're only a temporary thing so I wouldn't rely too much on ALIVE.
Connor Campbell
Adriana would work well for nationalists/militia. Wilderness experience but not the best marksmen and without the real tech support of other factions.
The former, I'd go with a less techie Haq LI list. Less medics, more snipers and line troops.
Evan Price
It's up to the air. Supposedly the winner of Interplanetary tournament gets to decide. Personally I too would like OanO, because they would still add to the faction while not being too bad fit fluffwise, unlike, say Tohaa or Ariadna.
Levi Cruz
I must admit, I'd love to see the fluff reason for each faction to get them. Especially if it's Tohaa, ALEPH or CA as that would take some justification.
Josiah Hernandez
>There is no limit on the number of MSV units you can take in a list. that is odd I was told that you can't have more then 2 msv1, or 1 msv 2 and if you take an msv3 you can't take TO and hackers. I will have to read the rules more careful next time.
about the mule bots. People were saying here that using proxy models is legal. Do you think I could use haqqislam mule bots, I don't like how the pano look like?
Lincoln Reyes
>haqqislam being 'liberal' >doing the exact same things as the 'puritans'
I mean sure they have good PR, but once you scratch the surface, they ain't much different from the oil emirates.
Kayden Thompson
That must be a houserule in your scene (which sounds pretty cancerous).
Easton Murphy
MSV isn't even that strong. Mimetism/ODD is stronger, because it affects more opponents.
Your local houserule is dumb if it's gimping loadouts like that for such a core item.
Lincoln Perry
well we were playing 200pts, and not the normal 400pts, so the rules can be different. I was just told it is unfun for some factions, if you use a lot of msv units, because then they can not do anything.
Zachary Ward
300 points is regular. And you just play with actual retarded shitflingers. What third-world country do you live in? Everything you say is just mindnumbingly nuts.
Bentley Thomas
That sounds pretty terrible a houserule for ALEPH.
I mean, that rule makes my favourite model literally unable to be played. Considering the Asura is a hacker with MSV3. That and my love of Agema Marksmen and Deva Functionaries.
I bet Adriana did this.
Anthony Wright
Are you the guy that's playing with a shady bunch of locals who all split tourney prizes with each other? Do they all run camo heavy lists?
Leo Wilson
Carlos confirmed it in Facebook, one source that comes to my mind.
Carson Scott
you are being horribly taken advantage of. Do not play with the people who have told you these things. Read the rulebook.
Adam Bailey
I am danish, wouldn't call my country a 3ed world one.
That would in deed be bad. Ariadna is not very popular from what I have seen here. Maybe 2-3 people have an army for it. Most people play haqqislam and nomads. But again I played 8 games, so it is not like I know everyone. It is just that the last local tournament had 15 people and 7 were playing haqqislam of some sort.
Cooper Rodriguez
not that I know about anything like that. But it is true that the same people are winning all the tournaments no matter what game is played. But I don't think it is shady they just have more money and the prize stuff those let them spend less at the store.
Ethan Rivera
That's pretty weird. Haqq has a fair bit of camo but not massive amounts. Ariadna shitbabies getting mad about it I can understand, but not Haqq ones. Maybe someone got tired of their smoke units getting countered.
If you can't get the shit rule changed then unfortunately that Aquila Guard is unfortunately going to be a liability. TO camo and hacking are important things for PanO, it's not worth losing them.
Connor Lewis
well I did play against 3 people out of like 18+ that play infinity at the store, first people I played against too. Can't really judge what the whole community is like, I know it is growing. I will ask themabout the "house rules" next time I see them. I'm just scared ot be called a cheater, because at my store if 3 people say you cheat you can't no longer play.
Noah Jenkins
What a fucking joke of a store.
Jack Barnes
they had problems with people playing MtG, and I mean serious problems with police coming etc. Since then the rules were put in place. For me that is legendary stuff, because it happened in the 90s.
Nathaniel Brooks
Just ask if it's a houserule or not.
Jonathan Garcia
Funny, because they impose cheating with those house rules. Wide access to MSV is PanO speciality, so by limiting them they make your faction unfun. Nisses + Black Friar is your best way to stop Fidays and it's still not 100% bullet proof. Also invest in Bulleteers.
Bentley Nelson
would I require to run separate hacker for each kind of bot? one for the mule and one for the bullter ?
