What's your favorite type of firearm?

What's your favorite type of firearm?

Bullpup sniper

Forged from Excalibur.

A modern concealable polymer pistol with a relatively large magazine for its size with an ergonomic design cambered in a cheap cartridge.

Also, one that doesn't have its safety located on the trigger.

>a glock but not a glock

What's the matter, user? Have trouble keeping your booger stick off the giggle switch?

My favorite firearm is the one that's not pointing at me

/k/ommando here

If you want to include a firearm with a bit of fantasy flair, nothing beats the Gyrojet.

He said a gun not a grenade, user.

Kek seems like that took forever

That's one of the ugliest fierarms I've ever seen.

You shut your whore mouth. Wanita is BEAUTIFUL

The greatest handgun ever made, the Colt Single Action Army. Six shots, more than enough to kill anything that moves.

Hope you guys like this.

A sword

:^)

I like blunderbusses.

I've always had an affection for shotguns in games where firearms are a focus. Power, flexibility and utility all it a neat package.

Shotguns almost always have retarded execution in games, though. "Hurr durr shotguns are only effective at twenty feet or less then muh spread makes 'em useless."

that's why good games balance the other guns around the shotgun

Funny, I was going to say an M31 suomi.

Colt Navys make my pants tight.

'cept that gun actually works

Anti-materiel rifle

Pancor sounds like something a tweaker on meth would come up with.
>Fuck yeah, this shit's gonna be full auto, fuck yeah! Not only that, you can turn the fuckin' mags into land mines 'n' shit!

Outrageous price and gimmick cartridge aside, this gun is pure cyberpunk handcannon sex.

Assault cannons.

While this is true, a lot of the time you engage at such close quarters anyway then a shotty is still good. And if it isn't, in a granular enough game with enough ammo types there'll be at least one or two broken as fuck options you can use with a shotgun, because no developer ever succeeds in keeping content balanced once it goes above a certain quantity.

I like them small, the sort of gun only useful in short range situations with CC

For melee weapons i tend to go for things with either the shocking quality or concussive quality to deprive the enemy of reactions.

As far as solid projectile weapons i tend to go for light and accurate rounds like the 9mm AP and .357 sig, which the 1911 is in. I choose the 1911 because i like single action. I also like big revolvers as most of my characters are detectives, i kinda want a revolver so big that it push back the enemy like breaking glass, of course this is entirely fictional, but i think all handcannons in 40k should have felling 2 to represent the shear damage it does to toughness characters.

In deathwatch ive been using a boltgun with fire selector and and the different ammofoods under the sun and damn that thing does work. Lately i did a called shot action headshot on some dudes in a aircraft hanger control room with metal storm ammo i headshot him and cleaned the entire room with just two hits.

The Croon HS010 has two firing modes:
>Full auto
>Fullest auto-er

Any shotgun with a heatshield.

None. I play exclusively fantasy RPGs, and guns and medieval fantasy have never mixed. Guns make knights and all sorts of armor obsolete, so as far as I'm concerned they may was well not exist (or exist only in the hands of munchkin faggots).

>mfw discover second firing mode by accident

...

I am no /k/ommando, so my preference for firearms is based off of how snazz + flash they are.
Whole lotsa shooty > Slow but big shooty > Flamethrowers and other weird stuff > other dakka
Real boyz know dat choppy is betta

My great-grandfather showed me his old Suomi once, it still worked after being a little burned and smashed, i guess our Pre-Microsoft engineering was great after all.. i mean Finnish engineers did make this and every Pre-Microsoft Nokia brick...

I love short barreled shotguns and rifles, preferably with wood furniture.

There's just something cool about something powerful enough to blow the head off an antelope in a small package.

Good old fashioned muskets and arquebus. I love myself some renaissance firearms in my fantasy.

Anything where you have to cycle the action manually.

Lever action, bolt action, pump action, single action revolvers, that's my jam.

Supreme taste, my friend.

...

You know a gun is good when it's become such a cliche and you can't help but still enjoy seeing it

Unrelated but how come revolving rifles didn't take off?

Cool space guns like my Japanese animes

Cheeki all the breekies

Gas leakage gets worse as the barrel gets longer.

Also having you face close to the gas leak

Revolving firearms of all sorts suffered from hot gas leakage escaping from the space between the revolving mechanism and the barrel, which in the worst case, would ignite all the rounds simultaneously. A one handed pistol meant this shrapnel was free to fly off, a two handed rifle meant one of your arms got filled with hot metal.

Heavy trigger pull, comparatively heavy action -vs- other repeating rifles, comparatively low performance with the heavy rifle rounds of the day.

Tube and clip-fed magazines were good enough.

Remember that shooting doctrine of the era held revolvers one-handed and well away from the body, nevermind vital parts like your eyes.

BEST WAIFU

Break action, sawed-off double barrelled shotgun.

Revolvers have such pleasing aesthetics.

Clean, functioning, and simple.

Basically because you have to aim properly not to waste the six bullets

I mean, you should be aiming properly regardless

It's like
Two of the four golden rules of gun ownership

CZ P-09

I rather like battle rifles, obsolescence be damned

WHERE IS EDDY?
WHERE IS DETTA??
WHERE IS OY??

WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO ROLAND?

select fire folding pistol caliber carbine

>Revolving firearms of all sorts suffered from hot gas leakage escaping from the space between the revolving mechanism and the barrel, which in the worst case, would ignite all the rounds simultaneously. This.

...that hurts my soul.

Bolt action rifle

This makes Rising Storm so much fun. Nothing quite beats plugging Charlie/GI from 100 meters with a nice face full of buckshot.

They even nerfed the buckshot RS1 was viable out to 200m

Don't worry, it was a reproduction, not an original C96.

I've always wanted a schnellfeuer with a rate reducer and folding vertical foregrip mounted to a railed projection from the frame mounted below the recoiling barrel.

this has half the equation visible. Not sure about the second.

Bascially a select fire pistol that can be used like a grip+foregrip SMG, or have it's holster stock popped on and be used as a foregrip+grip+stock select fire pistol caliber carbine.

BananaBanger

I'm partial to early modern firearms. Everything from arquebuses to revolvers they all bring to mind a very specific aesthetic that I enjoy in my fiction.

Ten Billion Hours in MS Paint

> whale penis bone
I see you are a gentleman of taste as well

my dream would be to own a modernized one of these.

Spoilers for newfags who won't get this:

>First time around (that we get to see): The Gunslinger (1st edition). Roland lost the Horn of Deschain fleeing the battle that broke Mid-World. Astrological signs are mentioned. The order of Gunslingers is approximately 600 years old.
>Second time around: The Gunslinger (2003 edition). No astrological signs, now it's the totems of the Beams.
>Third time around: Events at the end of The Dark Tower (book VII). Roland now has the Horn of Deschain; Oy is now a dog instead of a bumbler.
>?????? time around: the movie. Roland is now a black guy. The order of Gunslingers is "thousands of generations" old. Jake and Odetta are not drawn into Mid-World.
>?????? time around minus a few decades: the TV series.

Oh hey, what's the Mean Girl doing here?

Is the revolver the fedora of firearms?

I don't know, are you a retarded noguns faggot?

>slav space magic

Besides utterly failing at trigger discipline?

>revolverfag detected
I'll take that as a yes.

Remington New Army 1858.

Preferably with an 8 inch barrel and converted for .44-40 cartridges so interchangeable with your Winchester '73.

Anything that shoots plasma.

>shoulder thing that goes up

BAN NOW!

>Been looking for an anime with big ass handgun firearm porn
>Have watched Trigun at least a dozen times by this point
>Was hoping your image came from or was inspired by an anime
>It's just some dude and his friend making concept art and a 3D model for shits and giggles

That's cool and all, wish I were talented in that regard, but dammit I got my hopes up.

Also someone in this thread has already posted my favorite, the Mateba model 6 Unica.

I know fuck all about guns in real life, but if I was forced to pick it would be a m1911

unless laser guns overtake regular bullets, we'll probably be using it on other planets

It just looks so fucking stupid i love it. Some designer was fucking around in photoshop and stretched out a pistol and decided to roll with it.

I kind of thought 7+ was going to be the final run.

I also just assumed that if they were doing "The Gunslinger", then naturally Eddie and Odetta wouldn't show up until Drawing of Three. Duh.

the 1911 is a range queen now my man.
the design is ill-suited to modern mass production and needs to be lovingly tuned by a skilled gunsmith.

Besides there's already a real life space gun and it's a triple-barrel shotgun/rifle hybrid

Holy Shit that's cool.

...

1911 is best waifu.

Roland isnt a nigger

Revolvers for style points. And there's a lot of satisfaction in being able to kill the fuck out of whatever you're shooting at with just six rounds, makes showing off really easy.

Otherwise has it.

Patrician taste. Mauser c96 is best gun.

i am most erect
