Nu-canon is a go. Everything was reset when Origins was released. Dominaria never happened.

Newer player here, don't care about Dominaria and I'm not sure why you think it's something I should care about. Ixalan seems much more exciting.

Its wotcs fault. Ive been playing since dtk and they have referenced dominaria less than a handful of times. If I wasnt an autist I wouldnt know what dominaria is.

ONE Dominarian merfolk learned how to cast a spell to shapeshift, which he found uncomfortable to do.
That was, however, a few centuries ago and knowledge of it could have spread since then, but Dominarian merfolk are tailed and cannot naturally shapeshift.

RETURN OF HOMARIDS

To be specific, Dominaria had endured at least three total planar apocalypses and recoveries until the full-on Phyrexian invasion which involved an entirely new level of turbo-apocalypse including Yawgmoth literally overlaying an entire artificial plane onto Dominaria to stage the invasion and weapons on plane-shattering potency being regularly released.

It had so many apocalypses it triggered a super-apocalypse caused by apocalypse overdose that shattered all of time and space causing the past and future and even theoretical alternative worlds to overlap and nearly broke the entire multiverse until someone had to seal it up by sacrificing the literal concept of Old Planeswalkers.

That's what MaRo said in the video, anyway.

Gatecrash is one of my favorite sets of all time. The Gruul, Orzhov, Boros, and Simic had a great feel to their gameplay; only the Dimir were a disappointment.
