>DM starts a full-blown race/religion war between the two different factions most of the PC's belong to

>two PC are deeply invested in their factions
>it quickly develops into passive aggressiveness then full blown autistic fits
As a PC, how do you solve this problem

>PC's visit a tavern and play darts to decide who needs to be stopped first

Tell them that the best resolution is a peaceful one, they've co-existed before and they can co-exist after then offer to work towards it.

If they're that invested then they shouldn't want people of their faction to die in a stalemate

Just throw the first punch then, start the fight and then see which faction survives.

>He gets called a railroading, metagaming, That GM, faggot since he made the mistake of recruiting players from Veeky Forums

Well, one faction has already subjegated the other in the past. Either that's going to happen again, or the war is going to grind into a stalemate so we may adventure togheter with knives behind our backs.
So far, it's been enjoyable. There is always a chance of a third faction interfering and making us alies of misfortune.

Provided that the groups PCs are now friends or are made up of individuals who at least respect each other due to their experiences the obvious path is to try to negotiate peace between the two sides by keeping the wars casualties to a minimum.

As low level NPCs it involves quick travel to key locations for both religions and using their skills to reveal secrets and remove individuals who are causing the war.
As High Level NPCs I guess this involves standing in the middle of the battlefield and telling the two armies to fuck off cause they're have a picnic at the moment and don't want to be interrupted

There's no level-we're playing Degenesis.

>DM gives in to the players every demand.
>Game evolves into waifu simulator current year.
>Everything gets super comfy and lewd.
>Upcoming hot spring in the mountains session.

Pick a side and stick with it.

>implying the GM wasn't doing that on purpose, because letting the players think it's their own idea is easier than trying to convince them to go along with your fetish.

>implying this is a game and not just a fag festival.

>implying that there is a difference.

>players complain that it's "too realistic"

>PCs united by unbreakable bonds of friendship
>They embark on a quest to stop the war and restore peace to their peoples

I tried a comfy campaign once with the wrong group (took my more murder hobo group due to time) started with comfy village simulator, turned fast into some sort of dating sim and then the players turned into the closest the setting had to pig orcs.

Slaughter the blasphemers and join in the glorious crusade!

it was nice knowing you guys

Putting it simply, they got bored with waifuing (sans one guy) and decided to hoard women like in a harem anime. Things didn't work out, they got a bad reputation, started using more extreme methods because fuck that (and I give full liberty to players, as long as they accept the consequences), they got banished from the village, turned into some sort of cavemen that kidnap wives. The last sessions were mostly played for laughs as we all saw the game derailed and caught fire, we were just enjoying while it lasted and hanging out.
