It's just a two-hander.

scottish claymore. The sword had a leather wrapped haft to help swing the fucker around as a half sword. Claymores were sharp, sure, it it was really more of the momentum and weight that would help hack off limbs.
Despite all this, compared to other large swords of it's time the claymore is comparativly light.
