Cyberpunk future

What kind of cool stuff might happen between countries and cultures in a cyberpunk setting, 30-50 years in our future?

Not gauging how plausible any of these ideas are, just how fun for players to game in.

>India breaks up after Chinese invasion
>Franco-Germany invades eastern Europe in the name of the EU
>Russian-Turkish War over the Caucasus...again
>Iran invades and subjugates Iraq and the Persian Gulf, leading to a cold war with Saudi
>Second American Civil War with the Coastal US fighting the Interior US
>Turkey invades Greece and the Balkans
>China creates a mercantilist economic bloc that surrounds most of SE Asia
>Nigeria absorbs neighbouring countries, gets its shit together and becomes an African superpower, kicking out other powers from the continent
>Sino-Japanese war over a fragmented Korea

It's quite impressive that I can see both her buttcrack and cleavage, but her back must be hurting like hell

It's a cantilevered system: the butt balances out the cleavage and the micromesh-shear gel ballistic armor keeps everything wrapped up tight.

...

How about
>China has a break away republic territory. Due to the strategic placement of nuclear weapons in the territory, china would not dare invade due to the promise of nuclear retaliation. America intervenes by forming an alliance with the new territory. The Chicoms are overcome by a "we wuz" mentality at the sight of their own kind breaking away.

Players are part of a US government intelligence team in the territory trying to gain information on China. However another threat is raising in the middle east. One that threatens to corrupt the nascent republic.

This is set in the near future in an alternate 2020.

>The Chicoms are overcome by a "we wuz" mentality at the sight of their own kind breaking away.
Like Taiwan or Xinjiang? Don't get the 'wuz' reference.

So how would it look if both left and right leaning groups in the United States began to fight it out? Doesn't matter who started it but it's gotten so bad to the point it's crippling the United States economically and militarily as both sides are not only fighting each other but the government as well.

I would change
>Players are part of a US government intelligence team in the territory trying to gain information on China.
to
>Players are part of a US government intelligence team trying to destabilize china

Yes, but bigger this time.

Dont forget there were a few republics before they were conquered by Mao's forces.

I would especially enjoy making up weapons for them.

Like the T101, a local copy of the American Calico liberty machine pistol. Except it is in .45acp. Its remarkable features are a 38 round helical magazine and muzzle slant compensator. Its rate of fire is 750rpm. Its accuracy is about 20 meters but on single shot it can be pushed out to 30m with its long 7 inch barrel.

Fragmented China's been done several times already in both Cyberpunk 2020 and Shadowrun.

Well, fragmented everything is assumed in most cyberpunk settings.

Well... destabilising depends on your view of the regime in power. If you think that the kind of corruption in china today is stable then thats where your problem is.

Im sure the US isnt retarded enough to have an actual grudge against the chinease people. Just its government and ideology.

Ya see, the communist ideology targets anyone who isnt part of it by brainding them a bourgeoisie. Whereas America and NATO have no ideology which targets the citizen. Just those in power.

Ok. I didnt know that.

However MY idea wouldnt be truely -punk-. It would be more futuristic with a strong element of Tom Clancy in its DNA.

There's a Bruce Sterling short story about that, I think. Complete with the American spy infiltrating some top-secret Chinese nanoswarm facility or something.

hey, its a SJW. no wait. two of them. you are like...5 years too late to the "no fun party." also; pic related. just quit being a fatty enabler. its not natural.

>Second American Civil War with the Coastal US fighting the Interior US
The interior would lose, no doubt. Most of the industry and population in the U.S. is located on the coasts. Also what would they fight over?

Internet Nazi rebels invoke the power of an ancient Egyptian god and Internet memes to cast magic spells to help them overthrow the Lucifer-worshipping cabal of Jewish corporate and political overlords that control Western society.

Wrong. Look up the old "Red Team Planner" posts from /pol/. The moment a civil war breaks out, the Establishment has lost.

You left out the child sacrifice and canabalism, along with the corperate-mercenary "anarchists" and right wing knight crusaders

That depends on how insane the rebel side is. If they're McVeigh-style crazies who blow up children, the establishment will have a much easier time. And if it's /pol/, you can bet that they're going to be engaged in all kinds of shit that will make the establishment look like saints by comparison.

That girl isn't turning her body as much as the one in the OP. Note how much of the far buttock that can be seen.

Except that the interior controls all the food, and the cities would all start to starve to death after a few months.

Ok i'll put my other ideas out there see what people think.

1.)
Players are part of an Intelligence operation based in the Bahamas. Since the decline of British Colonial Empire the country has enjoyed status as a tourist destination for all the developed world boasting resort hotels and casinos. While the native people that inhabit the islands lived in squalor, the rich and famous lived in conditions imitating paradise, egged on by its situation as a tax haven. The Bahamas prospered, as it is said that they were a third world country with a first world apatite, cars and goods were bought from the US just off the coast.
Things were going smoothly until the 2007 recession hit and tourism all but dried up. Crime rose and the Bahamas was branded a tourist no go area by the CIA world fact book. Since then the Chinese have moved in building giant hotel resorts that dwarf most of the hotels. Worse still for the natives the Chinese brought their own work force to build and operate them, with of course the backhand payments to the corrupt local government.
Fast forward to 2030, the Chinese economic powerhouse has created a new breed of Chinese ready to holiday in the Caribbean. A pseudo Chinese colony now, the Bahamas welcomes anyone able to keep the money flowing. Chinese members of the party even holiday here now, and that is of course entirely unrelated to the situation of a tax haven, and that is where your mission starts. The US combined with British intelligence have long standing bases of operations there, with the new clientele represents rich pickings of both the Chinese intel but also international crime rings that operate out of there due to its close proximity to the US.

Continued.

Continued.

Your team is primarily tasked with information retrieval scanning the phones and internet connectivity during your down time, receiving orders via dead drop. However your most important responsibility is as a clean up crew for other more advanced black operations. One such operation has been conducted in one of the palatial houses in a gated community. You are to proceed there and clean up as much evidence as you can. The operative or operatives in the operation are trained to leave as little evidence as possible, but it is company policy to have a fresh set of eyes look over the operations area or 'crime scene'. You of course have to be ready to do all of this at a moments notice and before the police investigation starts or the opposite number Chinese forces move in.

End.

Also the interior has most of the military personnel, and also the nukes.

That would make for a good mission, but you could do that now, pretty much, without going into the future.

No way a second civil war would be an 1860s style symmetrical state on state conflict. It'd be much more like the Syrian civil war, with myriad guerilla groups with differing ideologies all fighting against one another and against the central government. This in a context unlike Syria in that far more citizens are armed and that the government forces are far better equipped. Expect foreign intervention on behalf of various militia groups. I would expect that the initial outburst of violence dies down after the government violently reasserts control, followed by a simmering terrorist campaign akin to The Troubles.

Nobody wins.

> (OP)
You can't see her cleavage, though. Unless by "cleavage", you mean "breasts".

>hey, its a SJW
But... you're the one who posted an image from tumblr?

Fascinating. Thanks.

Reminds me of DMZ, which apparently is going to be a tv series.

> EU becomes a dictatorship and invades North Africa to stop the flood of refugees. Huge refugee camps are built in the protectorates of Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. The Mediterranean Sea turns into a warzone.
> USA go bankrupt creating an economic holocaust. Unemployment and poverty explodes all around the globe. Governments disintegrates as civil wars start to break out. The concept of nation disappears and get replaced by corporate economic blocks.

>USA go bankrupt creating an economic holocaust.
What the heck does this mean?

It means USA kaputt. SHTF. No money. Cannot pay debts back. Banking system collapses. Money becomes useless. WROL. That kind of shit, but with cyborgs, gynoids, mono-molecular blades and stuff.

>Cannot pay debts back

Which is funny when you consider most of the money is owed back to ourself.

2/3rd of the debt is in USD. 1/3rd in other currencies. Devaluating the USD would only make the rest of the debt more expensive. All values linked to the USD would go down too, leading to massive inflation in a lot of countries. On the other hand "refuge" currencies like the Swiss Franc would soar up.

>DMZ is going to be a TV series
News to me, let's hope they don't screw it up.
