Chronicles of the Golden Chalice final list:
Jessup "Jess the Fair" Kruegen
Kyoot
Laila al-Massoud
Neelu Aria
Rainyday Tamarnell
Tarkus Talgran

I'd say Psionics/SoP. i have a fondness for point based Magic systems. it just captures what i feel "Mgaic" is better than whatever Vancian Magic can throw at the world.

Alright, /pgg/, tell me what your ideal chargen would look like:
strawpoll.me/13240997

>Kyoot
>Neelu
shit meme tier list desu

>10 PB even being an option
EW

anything less than a 20 PB is just painful to see.

This would have been better as a google survey rather than a strawpoll.

>spams the board
>wants other people to report nonspam

I'm not the one posting fetishbait on a blue board, m8.

>Burthurt that nobody else is clinging to his shitposting

When are we getting Ensoulment story #4?

Alright, reposting.

One of my players wants to open a magic shop.
After reading the downtime rules my mind almost exploded, so i wrote down some lines for him.

>8.000g for a small shop, 16.000 for a medium, 30.000 for a big one
>You're a divine caster, so you can only create items with a divine spell needed as component
>I'll let you hire 1 manager and 2 workers (for a small shop), i'll write down some basic stats for them. Like... One manager candidate has some intimidate and diplomacy, the other bluff and diplomacy, the last has less diplomacy but high charisma
>50g/day for salaries
>If you're away for quests and cant cast the spells needed for the item, you'll have to provide scrolls

Yes or no?

I think WoP is pretty sweet. I enjoy translating wordspells into various fantasy languages to give a cool feel to my characters.

Looks pretty good to me, user.

How does that net profit?

>What's your favourite form of magic, 1pp or 3pp?
Definitely spheres. If I was forced to go with something Vancian, I'd want to do something like the Beguiler with very focused spell lists to keep power levels reasonable.

See my reply in the other thread.

...

Either Witch or Occultist if going 1pp, or a Spherecaster if 3pp

The profit would be half of the magic item crafted.
They won't do anything above 7k for sure, and wont have many clients, but a player asked so i obliged.

>You can probably use the Investment rules instead, using the Returns as profits and the original investment as startup price.

So you don't have to bump the shit thread.

Sounds good.

I've realized Paladins LoH doesn't allow a save, and Smite Evil works extra hard on the undead. I can combine both, right?? It'll be a melee touch attack.

Can I mutherfuckin Hamon the living shit out of vampires and zombies?!?

>"Sunlight Yellow Overdrive!!"

>Fluff
Occult classes have the best fluff for how its classes get their magic, in my opinion. Occultist, Spiritualist, and Medium are pretty fun in my books

>Mechanically
In no particular order, SoP for nerfing casters and being a specialist, Psionics for having more fiddly bits and power points being a lot easier to understand for a new player (but some of the classes being rather shit), the supernatural disciplines from Path of War ("guys I'm TOTALLY an Evocation wizard okay, I just have to use this sword as my arcane focus and my magic works best when I hit people with it") and then, no lie, Kineticist wild talents and burn, for being so fiddly. Vancian has a place but its just plain not as fun as the others

Reminder: Ensoulment is going to run on Tuesdays to work with the schedules of guaranteed celebs, adjust your availability accordingly.

>GM tells you always spend your resources way too fast and that you aren't leaving anything for further encounters forcing the rest of the group to wait for you to refresh
>Encounter appears
>Don't go overboard and spend all my resources and decide to micromanage a little
>TPK
Never, trust, your GM, they aren't your friends. Always treat every encounter as it were the last one of your life.

>Kyoot got in
Ok.jpg
>Rainyday got in
Thefuck
>Merfolk got in
WHAT

>WHAT
ChaliceDM was sick of people not caring about his game so he made pure meme picks in a last ditch attempt to remain relevant.

>He thinks Takashi won't switch the schedule over to mondays with the power of basketball

Toppest of keks

Schedule needs to be updated.

Instead of micromanaging rules and shit, why not just let him own a magic shop as a fluff thing?

Because the attitude of 'it should just be fluff' is legitimately cancer. Fluff should be supported by crunch.

Have they released a Red Raven pawn yet?

because they do it for cash.
And i'd feel they'd start to say "wait until income gets in, then start new adventure".
plus, i can always create something extra.

>meme kobold gets in as usual

Fucking end me

Player's a sassy bitch too.

Sassy? How?

Trash talks other applicants, tries to ingratiate herself to the GM with her holier-than-thou attitude. Old stuff. Don't like the sort.

>Inspector is losing his shit in the discord
Is this when we see the rise of the true anti-cabalcord?

Literally how could it be worse than the days of people screenwriting posts out of context?

Why can't I delete posts when I see I made a massive typo?

Fuck you Hiroshimoot

pastebin.com/JLu5xXML

(migrated from the ghostbin so that anybody can clone to edit as needed and to re-enable embedding for Veeky Forums-x users, reformatted troves to actually be legible and usable, added PoW errata to DSP section)

Is this a JoJo reference?

I'd imagine you'd want to repost that closer to the end of the thread so people will actually remember it.

>Did your favorite make the first cut?

No. Triune looks neat. Machine gods are always great and Brigh never had enough love.

Are there any published "skydom" settings for Pathfinder?

As a matter of fact, my favorite did make the cut. Good to see Brigh getting the respect she deserves.

Yeah, I'll try to repost when we get to page 6 or so of autosage. If any helpful anons remember to do so if I haven't at that point (just in case I don't happen to be on my computer when it happens) it would be greatly appreciated.

Brigh is a useless piece of shit and Epoch is already a better god than she ever has been.

Wist hasn't said anything for the past few hours!

>Did your favorite make the cut

Not really, no. All the gods so far have been either their personal soap box power fantasy or completely uninspired.

...

We probably don't need the PoW errata up there anymore either.

Evolution god looks cool as heck.

Getter Ray Clerics when???

>god of invention
>useless

Axiomatically incorrect

The public discord is a wreck now that all the people capable of being chill and not losing their shit moved to the cabalcord.
And it's a feedback loop too: the fact the chat is dominated by the loud, stupid or bitter members means everyone else wants to talk there even less.

I'm sure hearing about people's piss fetish really added to the quality of the channel.

>TFW Kawase was the shitter we always figured he was

What would you want to make it in the second cut?

Tome Spheres, Arcanist/5e Vancian, Cleric prep, Warlord maneuver refreshing

Honorable mention to the Occultist.

Kawase fucked off about an hour ago.

>being this mad
>he runs the place
truly a shitter

...

What did I do this time? I even left the discord for you. I'm not even the one who starts tangents these days.

This is what bad moderation looks like, ayy

You know there's a rule against posting discord bullshit in-thread, right? Or are you just retarded on top of being shitstirring.

Necessity is the mother of invention, and Abadar or Erastil already had that covered with their civilization building.

Poor newbie.
Asking legitimate questions that don't get answered because the admin's butthurt.

the cabalcord left partly because of Kawase but also because CM is too incompetent to moderate

He doesn't care, Inspector.

Literally everything. With Rory laying low as of late, you're the new boogieman who gets blamed for anything negative that happens.

Really now. Was kind of hoping me leaving would convince them to stop the segregation or something.

I'm pretty sure Star is blamed for more stuff than me.

>abadar is now a ceo and erastil is too problematic for paizo

Dont direct your rage at me because paizo is a bunch of fuckups

Erastil is god of pioneers and explorers though isn't he?

No, the good people left because CM was an incompetent

Fingers crossed for Gozreh. I always thought he/she was a much better duel-aspect god than Nethys.

Someone give me the run down of DHB's martials. I'm considering running a game and replacing the base cases with their unchained versions. Is it worth it? Do they actually fix anything?

CM, Alien, Startoad, SSD, and Espagnoll are more than enough to keep the segregation.

Reminder that it's weak moderation that let this happen. Inspector CM a shit. Shit!

Espagnoll was kicked already, and who the hell is SSD?

I don't even know anymore, dude. The gods they've already revealed are OKAY, but none of them wow me as a deity I want to worship. I wanted some proper manly gods, in truth, though it seems the manliest deity in the listing is a genderfluid NuMale whose the subject of worship by Asian Communist Space Lesbians.

In the long run, no, nothing changes. As long as you play PF you won't change anything.

He's the god of Homesteading, Community, Family, and the Simple Life. He's not a fan of exploration for exploration's sake, he's about settling down someplace and making a living with the sweat of your brow to provide for a loving and happy family.

The only one I've looked at is the Fighter one, and honestly it's pretty solid for what it tries to do from my understanding of it. It essentially just grants noncombat options to fighters and the ability to pick up certain skills for a relatively small investment.

That one, at least, appears to be worthwhile. But, well, I'm not very balance conscious, so I don't know if I'm actually right or not.

No, the GodDESS of Pioneering and Exploration is the divine matriarch of The Swarm before her song was lost to the chittering Evil of their patriarchy. She was silenced for centuries until the Shirreen heard her sonata once more.

Abadar might not even be a God anymore, he's CEO of AbadarCorp (should've called it Vault Tech) and canonically a massive asshole now.

No, the "good" people left because there was like, 2 or 3 people that just spent all day spamming the chat and wouldn't let anyone else get a work in edgewise, and everyone that went to the one Broodie made did so because they were interested in being able to post uncensored tits.

About to run RotR again, last session took only the first half of the festival, leaving me with the second half to do today. My players seem to be enjoying the dumb games and 'prizes' I've been giving out, so I need more. I've had some kind of horse riding event and possibly crossbow shooting at targets as well as CHILDREN'S CARD GAMES (with some cute but shitty illusions attatched to the cards) suggested, but I want to know what you've used in your games with success. Carnival/festival games to be exact, and with a tilt more towards the folksy.

They provide out-of-combat options to those classes and give them more flexibility and a few cool features, so yes, they do. It doesn't make them caster tier at all, but it does make them less boring as shit to play. Combat is still really a chore though despite the options.

Well shit, does that mean if I stop being annoying I can become a Cabalist(tm)? Actually, do they do discussion at all there? From what I understand it (was) just a porn dump right?

I don't particularly see why Erastil wouldn't still be around. The simple pleasures of life will be relevant as long as you have a physical body, which SF doesn't seem to have done away with just yet.

Sweet, sweet uncensored titties

A fun one I saw used was a kissing booth sponsored by the Pixie's Kitten, the trick was to make the girl or guy you're kissing blush without touching anything below the shoulders.

/PGG/! I need advice--what's something a character could believably bake in about an afternoon, with only minimal resources?

Assume there's the possibility of making your own oven, but only a few ingredients and it'll be mostly made from stuff you salvage out of your usual rations.

Disk and Luna left outright right?

Bread, if you want to be fancy; Pasta.

What simple pleasures of life? Starfinder isn't the sort of setting conducive to having a husband or raising a family.

Usual rations include what amount to hard tack and dried vegetables / meat. You won't be able to make much at all beyond some sort of pie.

Flatbread is incredibly easy to make and can in fact be done with something as simple as water, flower and a big fat stone.

Stew. Particularly if you can add rabbit or fish.

Yep, and they just went on to spamming Broodie's chat instead.
