Since Skorne are slowly getting better, I don't mind that at all.

The Siege Animantarax fix was a nice step in the right direction and the best use of the "counter punch" mechanic I've head Skorne are supposed to have.

It's Cantenkerous rule.

You're supposed to whip it with your own Handlers, so counter punching never comes into it. It used to only gain tokens from enemy attacks. The counter to it was ignoring it lul.

Cause the Siege Animantarax is faster, about as accurate and about as hard hitting as most heavies. The only heavies that really beat it out in those categories tend to be more costly than it. Its also not constrained to a control area for its boosting mechanic.

Long story short, turns out Inaccurate rockets CAN hit heavies after they have Brand of Heresy and Flare tagging them. Even though I got thoroughly smashed the match was still pretty fun. Elara's feat is amazing for setting up wacky charges, and my Thane managed to get a surprising amount of work done with his carbine.

I may replace the Banshee with Discordia next time to give me some extra defense against shooting and a strong ranged option of my own, otherwise the list worked pretty well when I wasn't fucking up placement.

Most of the people that were active/vocal on the old forum are active on the lormahordes forum. Octavius being a cunt, Cyel insisting everyone who doesn't paint is shitting directly in his mouth, Greytemplar insisting that anyone who can't eyeball measurements is just not trying, etc etc. But the forum activity is definitely a fraction of what it was prior to everyone realising what a fuckfest mk3 turned into.

It's a shame. When the Lorma Forums launched I posted there a lot. it was a chance to shape a new online community and have it turn out actually good. And for a while it worked. We had some pretty good threads. But now it's the same people with their same whining again. We're back where we started and squandered our chance. It's a shame really.
