Recently a thread came up and people said the right felt the SJWs were boogey men.
Well...are we crazy or ARE WE CRAZY (for not standing up before it was too late).
Im not asking for "conservative values" and all races have been present since the beginning so why can't it just stay that way, why must divirsity push everything to the extremes?
Some of the shit they push is absolutely hilarious.
Luis Bell
There is literally nothing wrong with this
Thomas Russell
>omg a single post about pride why is everything so extreme!!!!!! >baaawwwwww
How about you just move on with your fucking life instead of kneejerking all the time?
Andrew White
...Jesus, is that backed up in story or just assumed. I never noticed how close they were, I guess.
Kayden Murphy
Official D&D books have had genderbending wizards and gay characters for a damn long time.
Henry Peterson
This has been a revolving set of issues, women, divirsity, sexuality and I'm sure gender is coming up soon. It's not once.
It's never once.
Kevin Miller
>gay greeks >not realistic [laughing]
Alexander Young
One other card. It's a pair of statues that people think are rival kings due to how long ago they lived, when they were in fact lovers.
Joshua Morris
Ok, where? If they did I wasn't noticable to me, I played in 90s and picked back up a year ago, since then I've been scanning through the time missed.
Gavin Kelly
What, gay hoplites is something remarkable now? Never heard of the Sacred Band of Thebes?
Brody Ramirez
>why must divirsity push everything to the extremes
Slippery slope is not a fallacy.
Jeremiah Richardson
Elminster. Fucking Elminster. Ed Greenwood's Magical Realms had genderbending and lesbians since the TSR years.
Christopher Stewart
Take a wild guess (and look into the background of the first image).
Carson Barnes
They're gay as shit. My friend joked about making a sexy gay man commander deck. >partner
Totally valid. Still funny.
Nathaniel Scott
Gender already showed up with the Aetherborn, who are explicitly defined as singular-them-pronouned non-gendered things.
I honestly wish they had just described them as agender, it's what they are. It felt like it was trying way too hard.
Leo Collins
>getting buttblasted about gays in a greek setting
What's it like, having a stick up your ass bigger than any dick could ever be?
Dominic Walker
Is that the same group Spoony talked about in some counter monkey?
Not saying "it can never happen" but I've been an adult for a while and know they tend to go so over board that it ruins it for the actual players to appease random people that don't even play.
Lucas Ward
they aren't demmanding any of us do anything about it they aren't tweaking the rulrs so gay players have better chances of winning exclusively due to their sexual preference the gay greek commander, the crossdressing mongolian warrior, and the STRONK black woman planeswalker feel a bit SJW but is not like they're turning all the frogs gay
Lincoln Howard
>Gender already showed up with the Aetherborn, who are explicitly defined as singular-them-pronouned non-gendered things.
That makes sense with the Aetherborn. They legitimately don't have the qualities needed to have physical genders. It would be like being surprised that a Changeling is gender fluid.
Brody Peterson
I see you didn't get a good enough response in the lore thread, so you decided to make your own bait thread.
Camden Ward
This wasn't ever canon, right?
Jackson Martin
>Wizards didn't include the black and brown stripes that were forced in by BLM. >In b4 BLM members start tweeting "muh oppression"
Ian Myers
sadly, not yet
Brandon Kelly
It's Canon. Honestly, I'm really hoping that Unstable will satirize this kind of behavior and ridicule this extreme emphasis on Diversity in a tasteful manner. Not outright hating on diversity as a concept, but demonstrating that overdoing it can have a hard impact on the story, similar to how a South Park episode might handle the concept.
It would actually be a really cool and useful way to use Unstable that would have a lasting impact on card aesthetic from now on, instead of it just being the "joke set."
Then again, they're probably already doing that with the Gay Interracial Roman Kings Power Couple.
Josiah Ramirez
>makes sense with the Aetherborn. They legitimately don't have the qualities needed to have physical genders Neither did Karn and yet he was refereed to in male form, because people weren't throwing hissy fits about these things back then.
Luke Johnson
Nah, it wasn't. The artist got politely asked not to keep producing it due to 'Official MTG artist making art of Official MTG characters' being seen as it being official statements on the characters.
Lucas Walker
Frankly, Alesha at the very least had a good story article behind her too, so that was no problem at all.
Yeah, all in all I like the aetherborn. They're a cool monoblack race with an interesting gimmick and a pretty solid visual design.
Brody Mitchell
This is nothing crazy guys, just a company doing run-of-the-mill virtue signalling. Calm down. >You are now aware that literal faggots enjoy the game too That's what the pride awareness thing is. You don't have to outfag the literal faggots by overreacting.
It's not like it's the BLM pride flag. Now that would be stupid and worth making a fuss over.
Jayden Bell
I don't understand. Is there something wrong with this? I don't get it. Is there a complaint being made?
Andrew Campbell
No, Chandra only has the hots for Nissa, but she's too autistic to understand.
Gavin Roberts
...
Parker Gonzalez
>4th version of concept art for Chandra's Phoenix will never be canon
Lucas Garcia
prevously MtG had been attacked by moralist, religious cunts who wanted demons out of the game because of satanic panic, then unglued came in with Infernal Spawn of Evil so yeah i hope they make fun of SJW and their endless list of demmands about their feelongs not being hurt
Colton Evans
You're being a bit disingenuous. MtG was never targeted on the whole demon/devil craze. They voluntarily stopped using the "demon" type for a while because they saw D&D taking flak and wanted to avoid it.
Elijah Smith
I'd prefer to see one more satirising both sides arguing about the politics of a children's card game.
Evan Parker
Fuck, why is Lili so hot
Connor King
karn was a singular being, the etherborn are a whole culture of creatures like that i have no issue with them finding an identity apart from that elves, humans, and veds
Jonathan Murphy
Whoa. I've seen this card a lot, have it, but clearly I need to read the flavor text more.
Kinda hard when if I only have a couple cards from some set. Still.
Ok. So it's been here for a while, but we all know the equality meme goes farther, has it gotten worse or has it moved from buried in the story to corporate virtue signalling.
If it's kept corporat then that's ok but...idk. I've seen many things I like be turned to shit because it became a victim popularity.
I watched some mtg YouTube video where he was fired for off color joke about tranny's and bathrooms, so it can and has reached into life. Just wondering if it has.
Guess it has been around longer than I thought, but as long as it's not over it's fine by me. But stronger signals are always a bad sign.
Kevin Powell
>luscious black hair >creamy pale skin from moonlight >cold to the touch
Liam Smith
Homosexuality with relation dinosaurs is a sensitive topic. There's a theory that chief cause of their extinction was some sort of attitude shift leading them to have predominantly or perhaps even exclusively same-sex intercourse and basically dying out because they stopped to procreate.
William Edwards
You guys aren't complaining enough.
Complain harder.
The blacks and the gays and the womenz are coming to take away your toys.
Aren't you enraged?
Bitch harder, faggots. I'm making popcorn, and when I come back there had better be some fucking qq.
Hunter Morgan
Honestly being gay sucks especially for males. I hate it. It seems so "cute" and ideal online but IRL its always awful.
Christopher Evans
Agender beings have been in MtG forever. The aetherborn were just the first they mentioned specifically to appeal to progressives.
Benjamin Jenkins
I want a qt femboy plainswalker though w/r or w/u
Charles Jones
You're bad at this. Leave this sort of thing to me, please. We don't want you hurting yourself.
Nathan Hughes
>Infernal Spawn of Evil was made as a joke against the evangelical Right that pushed against MTG for being pro-satanist.
You learn something new every day. I thought it was more because the artist only drew demons so they gave him something insane.
Ayden Walker
Not enough spite. Go harder. Dig deep.
Samuel Edwards
W/U. I want my Smug Shota Wizard-Cleric.
Hudson Torres
Thebes says hi.
Gabriel Martinez
There was at one point a big push to get the telephone pole screamers to join, but they realized about 6-8 months ago that the people who did all the complaining don't actually WANT to play, no matter how much they're pandered to.
So now it's almost 100% signaling.
Jordan Martinez
We both know how that one ends...
Matthew Martin
didn´t het Dark SSR Fate Episode reveal, that she actually changed bodies when she was still a little shota? I mean I´m fine, my headcanon is still her being a dirty old man in the body of a cute girl
Austin Carter
They took out the pentagram around when that happened.
Caleb Anderson
...GARY, YOU ARE GONNA FINISH YOUR DESSERT, AND YOU ARE GONNA LIKE IT!!!
The only thing that bothered me about this was how on the nose the art was for the statues with the touching swords.
Eli Wright
Alright, I learned what I wanted and more, thanks all.
Cooper Garcia
This guy is totally femme and fabulous. And he's not subtle about it. >darling
Angel Williams
Can I suck your cock now?
Lincoln Nguyen
Fix your fucking grammar. Otherwise I agree.
I believe that Gay Pride isn't inherently political, at least it shouldn't be. Casual and spontaneous (as in without outside force) insertions of homosexual characters is fine by me. Once it starts to get to actual pandering, which means that people are starting to become glorified/demonized for what they happen to be rather than their accomplishments, that is where I have a problem. BLM is political since it deals with policing. BLM is also controversial since it has been associated with unsavory words and acts, but that's an inherent weakness with a hashtag movement. I opposed Runescape's Pride Event on principle of them not asking the community first, which they traditionally have, but I wouldn't mind if they at least negotiated first and there was overreaction from the community, although that was handled poorly by the mods.
Connor Green
. It's shouldn't be political but they make it's, the past few years it's gone from non to extremely so. BLM, anti-trump, feminists, all have taken it over.
Disgusting, it is.
Bentley Collins
Please, sempai. Just the tip. Just let me lick the tip.
Luke Kelly
They're not a man, they're a member of a race that's inherently genderless and has neither men nor women.
Yahenni is a flamboyant, sexless pollution elemental.
Tyler Myers
>I believe that Gay Pride isn't inherently political, at least it shouldn't be >ignoring the supreme court ruling about gay marriage, which went against state's rights
Christ almighty, are all liberals/libertarians this out of touch with reality?
Jaxson Peterson
Any other trans flavored cards?
Brayden Scott
Can I call you daddy before and after?
Henry Ramirez
This
They're already in the process of rebranding pedophiles as "Minor attracted persons" and calling it an orientation instead of a mental illness
Luis White
Just keep real world politics out of your games and marketing. How hard is that?
Logan Gomez
Trump is a little bitch man, tho.
Owen Ramirez
Veeky Forums is full of so much shit on so many levels.
Nathan Harris
>ruling against a state's bigoted laws, which went against citizen's rights
Michael Stewart
There ya go.
Ryder Lee
>citizens rights
Christian Scott
Marriage was fine, forcing churches to do was wrong, forcing gay cakes was wrong.
It sucks that when growing up I thought adults wouldn't be so skewed morally. Growing up meant growing and the majority seemed to choose not to.
Kevin Nelson
>Im not asking for "conservative values" This reeks of "How do you do, fellow centrists?" Seriously, you get your panties in a twist over one tweet, and this is how you react? The Right and the Left can both fuck off, don't get your shit into my hobby. You're both fucking retarded, the only difference is in who's fucking things up now.
Jacob Watson
I'm going to resist talking politics and just post funny cards. >/femgen/'s namesake is banned in pauper
Joseph Howard
OP, can I rim your pristine boipuss?
Leo Evans
That's what I've been saying. Of course, no one believes it, even if it comes straight from the, and I quote "attention-whoring namefag."
Logan Lewis
>I'm so much better than everyone else: The Post Centrism is cancer.
Cameron Flores
OP you seem kind of tense, do you need a massage?
Jace Richardson
...well, I wanted to make sure people knew I wasn't just and average /pol/-nazi so I wanted to show what I was and wasn't ok with. I used OP for most the thread so kindly read it then shitpost.
Julian Morgan
there is this one tranny that keeps coming to play at my LGS and no one will play with it. shit is funny as fuck
Caleb Turner
Where's straight pride day?
Colton Ross
Please do not use gendered slurs
Adam Rivera
...
Bentley Ward
Hi, Wayne. Can I fug your bunghole?
Josiah Reyes
Pfft...you haven't seen tense.
Jackson Sullivan
That's still one of my favorite pictures ever
Zachary Reed
>The Right and the Left can both fuck off, don't get your shit into my hobby. It's too late for that. Every major company in the market has taken sides - unsurprisingly the side where the expect stronger customer base.
Luis Cooper
This just goes to show that everyone can be a bad human being, regardless of gender, race or sexuality.
So gender, race and sexuality really don't matter as much as alignment.
Liam Clark
The Greeks actually despised gays like the rest of the ancient world. They tolerated bisexuals though.
You fags REALLY need to stop trying to press your ridiculous modern views onto people who didn't follow your stupid notions of immutable sexual orientation.
Evan Richardson
It's every day!
Ryan Edwards
The other 364 days of the year.
Nicholas Morgan
Boogeymen implies that they are imaginary and deadly when in reality, SJW bullshit is everywhere, but it's usually only when you go looking for it that you find it.
As usual, /pol/ is right when they say that there are SJWs in the industry wanting to pander and virtue signal, but until it has a tangible impact on your own fun, then it's up to you to decide how sensitive you want to be about it.
Daniel Diaz
>forcing churches Link or shut the fuck up faggot
Cameron Collins
I love it, user. The hotter this pot can become the sooner we'll cook ourselves alive. Embrace the pedophilia and relish being the supporter of something current generations of NuMales would find decadent and degenerate.
