Not sure if this is OC or not, I diden't make it. I saw it on /d/ for about 10 minutes before that thread was purged like all the others. I censored the CYOA to make it SFW and fused the two pages, enjoy.

everything for a comfy life in my pocket dimension. Extra rooms, teleport, sense, whispers, shards and twist flesh will manifest later and I'll need furnish my pocket dimension by myself.

imo, Room is very expensive compared to Extra Rooms; and 5 points is too much for a garden, unless the house has more than nine rooms. Lastly, Powerhouse is completely broken, 10 times would be fine but 100 is simply too much, outshines most of the other powers.

The perks they technically have as a result of their training are Natural Physique, Martial Training, Berserker, Super Human Body, Frontliner, Survivor, Hearty, Unarmed Combatant, Critical, and Features Harsh.
They're technically just a mundane human, but their training puts them into low end of capeshit.

Probably not. I always end up leaving more of the stuff written up out than I want as it is, so I'm hard pressed enough to cut it down more. If I shrink the text, I'll have someone complaining about that, last time I expanded the boxes the borders were too small and that was complained about... Plus it'll be a pain to fix due to how I've layered it.

A slightly modified version of an older build. Still Matchtevsti runaways, still helping the local emir found his new capital. I’ve ditched the flesh-altering spells in an attempt to take on the much harder challenge of getting the people to accept my freaky friends at face value. If elves are too exotic for a human city, chances are they won’t be comfortable with a man made out of worms, a giant kobold skeleton, or a set of living armor either.

Anyway, hopefully the paladin I took for extra points won’t present us with too much trouble, especially when confronted by my living allies. It was also rather easy to take Rampant Undead considering I control no undead. Maybe they will come after I craft some to help guard the emir’s palace. Either way, this build is built for comfort rather than ambition, and it behooves me and my companions to help strengthen our “lair” by making the city safe. I put enchantments into the public works and do general ghostbusting, the blacksmith builds weapons, Melanya trains the emir’s soldiers, Moskheon raises undead discreetly, and Alfred and Seboket act as heavies whenever they are needed. This of course does not mean that we don’t travel across the world in search of adventure from time to time.

I still want the dark general cyoa you were considering. So badly.

Ahh, the Well. The frontier of Dragon Hunting/Study.

Turns out that dragons have bigger things on their mind than me. Being an Unseen-Stalker helps.

Not that I'm particularly amazing at my job, it helps to belong to a Guild Member. Odd that they entrusted me with an Apprentice, but I hope to keep them alive, or teach them a few tricks.

Earth Wyrms are my preferred quarry. Hidden enough to need tricks, but not so sneaky to ambush me.

Port Katar is the perfect place to live, if not for unpredictable prices. There is a nice variety of goods and people to find.

As for my companions... they're a motley crew.

Much to my chagrin, I'm close to "Blackest Night Crystal". Damned if I know her real name. Dragons being cold-blooded, Ms. Crystal can slow and kill wyrms quite effectively.

My other field companion is Sir Archibald Winthrope. He's quite the hedonist, but damned if he's not a good shot. He can often get a clean shot on the beasties. Sometimes hits the eye.

I work with Tanya to process materials, I've got guild contacts to help her out.

I leave the meat to Isabella to work with, though sometimes the wyrmtail goes elsewhere. It's terribly bitter, but drowning the meat in wine makes it work. Sometimes.

I met Lynell after a crazy night at the pub when I almost fell into the docks. It's nice to have a contact with more unusual markets and share stories.

It's a pretty comfortable life as a whole. I'm a little concerned with Crystal trying to make me submit to her and Archie trying to get a cut larger than 1/3, but there it is.

You'd still wield great power, both personal and political, but you're not number one. Maybe you could pick your king, the other dukes, and some counts to be direct vassals.

I'd recommend going with a more subtle colour scheme like this.
An old, worn medieval/fantasy style. The colour brightness doesn't fit well with the theme of your cyoa imo.

I had something similar in my list, but it was progressing in a slightly different direction, where you were the second in command/friendly rival of a major hero on a quest of some sort. Kind of like the one I'm posting but more serious (but not entirely so)

This would be a good one; the Bio Security is a bit like that.

Don't get yourself down, the design of a cyoa isn't all that important, it's a very nice addition but the lore and the writing inside it is the most important part.

I'm shit at writing cyoas unfortunately, I hate writing at all which is a damn shame. Its really hard for me to get into cyoas that aren't well laid out or visually appealing, they're sorta immersion breaking or just difficult to read which puts me off.

Best advice for paint authors is use desaturated colours, nothing too hard on the eyes. And give the text you keep in boxes some border space so they're not touching the edges.

A CYOA where you're an evil spirit bound to an artifact that gets found by an adventurer on a quest to do an adventurer thing. You'd be picking things like what you're bound to, what you once were, what the artifact can do, who picks you up, what kind of corruption you cause, and what your end goal for the poor sob is. Or something like that anyways.

Yeah, since fixing the background up I like the font a lot less. Thats one thing that I can't easily fix without having to rewrite the whole text due to paint.net, same reason resizing it is problematic. It'll do, I'll just chalk it up as something to keep in mind next time.

SHB is just a better version of NP, except for the eating a lot more part. I don't think you need NP as a prereq or something.

Primarily The Sage and Slayer's Peak as they fit perfectly for my next session. But I would have liked all of them as nearly all of them will fit in later.
