How would a succubi with moderate, shy and loyal to only one human (monogamic sort of say) attitude work without ruining their original purpose?

It couldn't.

Next.

Define original purpose. Do they kill men via sex? Do they seduce otherwise noble men to evil? Or are they just monstergirls that feed non-lethally on men?

????

we just don't know

>tfw suicide jokes

Succubi is the plural, this thread is not Veeky Forums related, and OP is a fag.

Sage and move on.

Announcing sage is a bannable offense newfriend.

lol

Virgin succubus thread?

It's all an act based on what the target is attracted to.

>YOU ARE NEVER THE DEMON'S HUSBANDO
>IT (YES IT FOR IT IS AN ABOMINATION) IS ALWAYS PLANNING TO DESTROY YOU
>PURGE THE FUCKING BITCH

Succubi are already ruined by porn, can't be any worse than taking away everything that makes them succubi in the first place.

Don't worry! Just do your best! If things don't work out, just try harder! You are a failure of a human being! If you can't try harder, just try harder to try harder!

>Implying you'd be able to resist a succubus with a giant futa dick

>Succubus
>Loyal
Pick one.

this is gold

I guess you could try and stretch the definition by having her seduce men outside the relationship but she denies them anyway to the point of driving them wild until they fuck up their regular lives in the madness of lust.

It's a shame that defending shitty, irrelevant threads created by semi-literate fucking spastic isn't also a bankable offence.

It wouldn't, they are demons and as such the enemy of humanity.

No. Please masturbate BEFORE posting here.

>Succubi is the plural
and this changes thread how?

>How would a >>>succubi>their

>She is drawn to him just as much as he is to her
>her mere presence makes him both physically ill and mentally gifted
>he ages internally at an accelerated rate and thus will die far before his time but he will experience passion which rivals fairy tales
>she will love him dearly and honestly, unaware of her curse/gift
>she will stand at his side and motivate him to do as his heart desires regardless of his ambition, she will help him open that shop or run that country if he truly wanted it
>when he passes from her gift/curse it will drive her to suicide but if given enough lifeforce she will be reborn and the cycle will begin again
>she will never remember but she will be unforgettable
Ultimate perversion of love as instead of giving new life it tears it away from both parties and will cause great harm in any mortal world as bright scholars and brilliant inventors or inspiring leaders will be taken from their kin without a chance to truly leave their mark or heirs to carry their genes/legacy

What you describe is pretty close to the premise of "Himitsu no Akuma Chan", I recommend you give it a read.
Basically the main character summons a succubus, but then doesn't have sex with her - since demons are bound by contracts and her end of the deal is not upheld they are stuck with each other.
The rest is your typicsl romcom/stockholm syndrome story.

>summon a succubus just to cuck her out of her contract
fucking japan, that shit is hilarious

There is a Russian short story about a history student summoning a devil.

The summary is that he drafts a contract with him that includes immortality in its conditions, and the main condition of the contract is that if the devil manages to convince the guy to ask him for help for absolutely anything, his soul is forfeit and he gets dragged to hell after his death.

The twist is that the student never intended to use the devil's powers, he just wanted to abuse the contract solely for purposes of immortality.

thats pretty cool too. I guess I never considered the kinds of tales other cultures had regarding demonic contracts and other such things (beyond cinema of course)

>mfw I misread "virgin" as "vigne"
Close enough.

I always thought the unilateral message involving contracts with the devil/devils is that you absolutely should not do it. Unless you are really good at playing the fiddle/ law.

youre all fucking perverts

and i love you

I love "humans cucking devil" stories
also, nice digits

I might have phrased that in a misleading way (due to avoiding spoilers about the manga), but to be clear - he wasn't actively trying to trick her.
In fact, he is actually annoyed with her because she keeps lusting after the d, and similarly she is annoyed that she can't go back until the job is done.
He really just changed his mind after making the contract is all.

With great persistence.

Honestly, there a plenty genuinely good and popular Russian stories about dealing with the devil like Master and Margarita and such. Unfortunately, they don't end well for everyone involved.

by being a loyal nymphmaniac whilst compromising so that the host/boyfriend doesn't die.

Short answer: it wouldn't.

Long answer: in most RPGs, succubi benefit from having sex. IMO this is totally the wrong way to take it.

Instead, succubi are creatures of evil. It's not just sex. It's FORBIDDEN sex, self-destructive sex, sex that leads to consequences that cause harm. They're evil creatures, powered by malice. Happily married couples making sweet lovin' is something that a succubus should never want or benefit from. And it isn't that their job is to go around doing evil things themselves. Their role should always be to PROVOKE evil in human beings.

So the war demon or sex demon might fight or have sex, sure. But only so that the person they're fighting WITH fights or fucks back, in a self-destructive way, that creates the moral state that feeds them.

But you're better off, if you can, luring two lovers together to have forbidden sex or a tainted romance. Then you profit from both sides of the abuse, and are harder for interlopers from the Church to spot.

Even better if you masquerade as one of the Faithful. After all, the more that is forbidden, the more you can profit from. So you foster sexual rules that are bound to be violated, then feed on THAT. Gay sex might be a hearty meal for a demon in Iran, where it's regularly punishable by death. But in 90s Russia, where it's frowned on and discriminated against, it's just a thin, unappetizing soup. In places where it's accepted, a demon gets no sustenance at all and is revolted by it.

Of course, a demon who gets carried away finds that tolerance breaks out when everyone realizes that everybody is having sex outside of marriage, for example. Abuse is always a treat, even when socially accepted, because you feed on the violation of the victim. So in cultures that have free love, you push the boundaries until you get into abusive relationships being acceptable and frequent. One direction or the other, people always go too far.

1/3

The Hell/"succubus realm" economy is based on the energy succubi drain from humans, but the type of energy varies based on the circumstances it was generated under. Some succubi fuck men to death, some just have as much mindless sex as possible, some violently rape men, some entice men into violently raping them, some corrupt men, some enter into long-term loving, monogamous relationships with men. You can either have succubi divided into types based on how/what kind of sex energy they harvest, or all succubi can generate all kinds, they all just pick whichever they like/is more useful at the moment.

Larry Niven's short story "Convergent Series" is like that.

A grad student accidentally summons a demon when he realizes that the pentagram needs to be inscribed on a wall, not the floor. So the demon shows up and grants him one wish-- his soul already being forfeit.

In 24 hours, the demon will take him. It'll reappear in the pentagram and come for him. If the pentagram is erased and re-drawn, he'll appear there... and then come for him. If he erases the pentagram altogether, then the demon can appear anywhere he wants.

So the grad student asks for time to stop for everyone but him. The demon complies, smiling. Time has stopped (but only for 24 of the student's hours). The student blunders around for a few hours, trying to think of an answer to the puzzle. Churches and other religious sites appear as vacant lots to him, so repentance isn't an option. He can't live forever in stopped time since he only gets 24 hours. He tries praying. No luck. Then the idea comes to him.

He erases the pentagram and re-draws it... on the demon's belly. It shrinks to fit the pentagram, which of course shrinks with it, and forever falls into nothingness chasing a pentagram it can't catch. The story ends with the grad student starting on the problem of how to repent.

> Instead, succubi are creatures of evil. It's not just sex. It's FORBIDDEN sex, self-destructive sex, sex that leads to consequences that cause harm
Eclipse Phase called, they told me that the succubi there starved to death long ago and they want the new shipment of succubi to parade around at orgies, pronto.

Considering the use of "a" at the beginning of the sentence, OP was clearly using the singular "they." Apparently he was leaving an option for a succubus (male.)

In some vanilla era Warcraft lore, Succubi are loyal to their summoner to the point of become destructive and jealous. Which is a good way of doing it.

Remember, they might be sociopathic sluts, but they're YOUR sociopathic slut.

I can live with that. Any sort of healthy relationship is based on mutuality and reciprocity, so I'm fine with succubi being loyal sociopathic sluts, because, hey, I am one too.

Their "original" purpose, before even the Latin language existed and you could trace their origins to Babylonian wind spirits, was largely to explain nocturnal emissions. They weren't even evil, just... inconvenient.

IMO the best succubus never has sex at all. Why bother? You get more sustenance from luring two people into defiling themselves with one another, violating either cultural mores, or the law, or their own personal autonomy and well-being. Just as tasty, less work, and less risk. Heaven, think about it... it's even tastier that way.

A succubus that's having a fulfilling, genuine relationship with a human that is totally non-destructive isn't just not fulfilling her nature. She's VIOLATING her nature. I mean, play it in your setting as you like, but if she's doing that then she's no longer a succubus. She's a sex spirit like Eros or a weird monstergirl or a satyr or something. But definitely NOT a demon. Evil has to be essential to her nature, and OP is amputating that right out. She'd be more of a succubus if she were celibate-- whereas wholesome love is outright against the point.

IMO when you take a demon that's specialized in some portfolio, you have to look at the sin that they're embodying. You have to look at that sin, what harm it causes when indulged, what other sins it provokes. Then you have to look at what tempts someone into that sin. Most sins are a corruption of some good trait or action. You have to think hard about those as well-- so that you can make sure that your demon is missing all those redeeming qualities that humanize the sin.

So with sex, we have love and fertility and compassion and cooperation and mutual sacrifice and generosity. So all that has to go. Where does sex go from there? Well, obviously anything that's a violation of the law or a cultural norm is a great place to start. (It also saves you from having to be too preachy or specific about your setting's "absolute" sexual morality.) Anything that's abusive or exploitive-- that hurts another creature or person emotionally or physically or spiritually.

2/3

It's possible if you take the approach that there is more than just damnation- being taken by a succubus is generally enough to send someones soul to hell or whatever, but in a basic state. So a succubus could do a simple fuck and drain to get someone damned right away, but, if the *more* damned someone is and the more powerful they are, the stronger they become post death in their damnation.

So the monogamous relationships etc would be a succubus taking an entire lifetime to make sure that their target has every part of their soul corrupted, that they have willingly embraced damnation, and then to spend the rest of their targets life empowering them.

So anyone can claim souls, but succubi like that would be the ones that search for the brightest souls, the greatest souls, and then spend a lifetime working on them so that the primest souls are claimed by them.
A Quality over quantity approach to soul-claiming.

Eclipse Phase is garbage. Transhuman Space, which they shamelessly copied and which handles these issues far far better, grapples with the fact that some of this stuff is illegal, immoral, or even when accepted is outright abusive.

So AIs and bioroids that are designed biologically to crave sex (or illegal models designed to be abused by their owners) are presented as a major legal and moral problem. Humans who end up using VR dating or having sex with their AI assistants slowly lose their connection to their fellow, flawed humans and stop having patience for other people's wants and desires. They lose the ability to be turned on by anyone who isn't totally perfect and utterly committed to giving them what they want. (Except for a very small fringe who crave the imperfection of a real person with real desires-- who you can violate via XOX-napping or programmed-for-abuse designs). Not to mention fertility corruption like designer kids created to be the perfect little boy or girl to show off to your friends, but with little thought given to what happens when you get bored of them or they grow up. A girl who becomes a prostitute and receives implants and drugs that keep her in line, aroused and obedient, is a slave. Even if he or she started out voluntarily, his or her free will is being suppressed and that, too, is laden with sin that a succubus can feed on.

A succubus in Transhuman Space (or cartoonish knock-offs thereof) would be drunk on the sexual depravity that's possible in that kind of world. As I said, in restrictive cultures the trick is to over-restrict and feed off people finding forbidden outlets for natural desires. In a highly permissive culture like this one, the game is to over-permit and feed off people pushing the limits harder and harder searching for a thrilling kink, and of course crossing the one line that's usually left: the one that forbids abuse of the weak and powerless.

So now we take the part of sex that's most powerful and least loaded with good and wholesomeness. Usually, this is the sex act itself. If certain relationships or acts are forbidden, then those are pretty obvious. Let's look instead at how you can turn sex into exploitation, selfishness, or abuse. That could be violating someone's free will, or simply them getting off on selfishness or doing harm. You try to maximize the morally neutral parts of sex (arousing imagery, the physical act itself, the orgasm*) while minimizing anything that might be good about it and injecting a taint of evil around even that (arousal by healthy, appropriate human appearances, sex acts that are painful or humiliating). Then wrap it in a context that requires some kind of moral/legal/personal violation.

* And if you can make someone obsessively lustful and STILL not pleasurable when their desire is fulfilled, then that's the ultimate succubus win.

If the succubus casts herself as the victim then sure that's a light snack on the evil intent of her "abuser". As the victimizer, the act might be amusing or be used to provoke someone into becoming an abuser later, but has no value in itself to her as an energy source. She might find some already abusive relationship and feed on that... but she needs to be causally involved in the evil to feed on it, and simply knowing but not stopping it is a very thin straw that you can't suck much energy through.

No, the best meal is when the succubus causes a real human to commit a real sin against another real human. Or two humans committing sins with or against one another.

So sex is easy. It's a cliche. But IMO a smart DM plays the unexpected. What about romance? Or marriage? How do we corrupt those?

3/4 (sorry, one more than I thought)

...

>humans are designed to crave sex
>creating a being that craves sex is a "major legal and moral problem"
>god is an evil felon
You're a faggot too high on the smell of your own asshole to realize that your words are gibberish.

Romance is easy. You tempt people into destructive cycles where they are physically or psychologically abusive. You turn people into manipulative game-players. People who toy with others' affections because it makes them feel powerful.

So the person who cheats constantly on their SO is one obvious example. He's telling her that he loves her, but then is cybering with three other girls on the side. The woman who gets off on sleeping with other women's husbands.

The person with borderline personality disorder. They're in love with you one day, and then the next they hate you. You can't tear yourself free.

The woman who friendzones a man, who pretends that she thinks of him purely as a friend but secretly revels in the attention she gets and the fact that he's utterly in love with her. But she's TOLD him she thinks of him as a friend! (tee hee!). Men do this, too, leading a woman on with promises that we really can be together... but just not now.

One lover using the other is old hat. Feigning love for money, access to power/celebrity, to look good by having a trophy lover, even just to have someone worship you. On your end, you have no feelings for THEM, just what they give you. What shades this into sin is when it becomes a lie.

The abusive Ike Turner lover. The sex is vanilla, usually, and the relationship is legal. But the emotional bond is exploited to chain the victim to their lover so they can beat them, humiliate them, threaten them, belittle them.

Our culture says love conquers all and justifies all. That's so easy to corrupt that it isn't even funny. Especially since "love" is itself a word with many, many meanings, often contradictory. There's nothing more powerful than telling someone, "I love you", but when you think about it, nothing more vague, too. A smart succubus can play with that word, use it as a lie, shift its meaning depending on the needs of the moment. And all the while cloak her evil in seemingly pure motives.

those are literally mutually exclusive

This.

What OP is describing is a Tiefling waifu.

make her the Drizzt of succubi

My nigga. Lilah was actually a good character, and I loved how this book made everything else from the series make sense.

Monogamous, moderate succubi are considered strange in the same way that swinger couples are.

>tempt people into destructive cycles where they are physically or psychologically abusive.
This is probably one of the more underutilized part of traditional demonic mythos.
Most world builders make the demons themselves guilty of their sin, rather then have the demons set up situations to cause people to preform their sin.
>Pride demon who is a servile simp. Compliments and talks up his subject all the time.
>Rage demon who is extremely annoying, or encourages the subject to "listen your feelings" or "You don't have to take that shit, bro!"
>Gluttony demon that runs a casino, or drug dealer with "quality stuff, man". This demon would make anything that encourages addicts to feed their habit, really.
>Sloth demon that actively wears their subject out, maybe by encouraging them to take on more activity then they can handle.

Getting herself knocked up and causing him to stay home and be an upstanding family man instead of going out and fighting the demon king as he was destined to do.

It reminds me of people who date strippers and drug addicts and "broken" people because they lack self-confidence (so they want people they can think of as being beneath them), because they're superficially dangerous and scary and cool and they want to vicariously be associated with that danger and coolness, and because they want to "fix" that person.

It's a triple contradiction: you see someone simultaneously as being both inferior (attainable and make you feel superior) and superior (feel cool//dangerous). You want them to be broken and imagine how tolerant and generous you are for accepting them as they are... but you're also fantasizing about "fixing" them and making them into someone you approve of. Because you really don't approve of it. You want fetishy dangerous sex... with a guy who you then tame into a homebody. And BTW be the person who's so good that you "saved" this person, and so worthy as a human being that you were worth it for them to try and succeed.

On Veeky Forums I remember two greentext screencaps of guys who dated homeless girls. One was just nice to her. He helped her out and when she tried to offer sex he refused it. She got back on her feet (mostly by her own efforts). They became friends, and then lovers, and then married. The other story was a guy who wanted to do the same thing... but so he could keep her as his pet and turn her into the perfect girl and have her be so grateful that she was his sex servant forever after. Happy Ending (for him) The End. Guys like OP can tell themselves that they're just like the guy in the first screen cap and feel good about themselves and smugly confident in their morality... but really what they are fantasizing about is being that second guy.

So these fantasies like dating strippers or bad boys or hookers or homeless alt culture types or drug addicts or other sexy-but-broken cliches... the trope of dating a "succubus with a heart of gold" is basically that cliche taken to 11.

You're missing at least one group user, but goddamn you make great points.

Ever hear of addicts that become sponsors for someone else in an attempt to save themselves? Could work either way, the succubus or the mortal; admittedly it is far more likely the latter falls into this category.

Personally, I just like broken people. More interesting, the sex is better. If we 'fix' each other, cool. But not really the goal here.

...

OP is trying to go into some kind of NTR debate about how would a succubus stay monogamic while having to fuck other people

tl;dr OP is a fag, not a surprise
sage and move on

The Queen is a perfect wife and devoted mother. She fought alongside the King as he rose to power and drove away the archlich who once darkened these lands. Her gentle words are known to send knights charging into battle. And her graceful manner towards the commonfolk is enchanting yet relatable.

She is the Unicorn woman, and it inspires wild lusts in power. The knights covet her. The peasant men imagine themselves swooping in to save her, idolizing her, making her their waifu. The peasant women are driven into jealous rages and forsake decency to prove themselves better than her by forsaking the good and defining their new behavior as the new good.

When the adventurers confront her, she smiles sweetly and tells them she has never done a single wrong in her unholy life. All she does is reveal the evil that lies in the hearts of men. And if they kill her, they will be away a good man's soulmate and robbing innocent children of their mother. Chaos will spread through the kingdom with the assassination of such an important figure, especially since her good works and charity have made the peasants dependent. Revealing she is a demon will only associate all the righteous values she espouses and lives with demonic influence. In the meantime, she will sow envy, resentment, and lust with her just-out-of-reach perfection.

Their move.

Coolness totally ain't about superiority.

What original purpose are we talking about here? An explanation for nocturnal emissions, an explanation for sleep paralysis, or an explanation for why some of the nuns are giving birth to babies that bear a striking resemblance to the priest?

YES YES YES YES

Exactly. And IMO a great way to use a demon as something more than a random encounter, or a formidable mastermind you could use as your BBEG.

Let's say you're in the room with some pie and a gluttony demon. Does the demon eat the pie? That's the easy cliched modern approach. But it's a DEMON, right? It doesn't feed on pie. It feeds on sin. The pie is a means to an end: getting your to do evil.

Oh, yeah, absolutely that happens. But there you have a potential for equity or at least some kinship between the lovers. I'm not even talking about all relationships between "broken people" and people who are doing ok. Those happen, too, but what I'm talking about is the guy or girl who's looking for the brokenness in particular. That's not a challenge that they overcome to be together, it's what the normal person is looking for in the first place.

Some people just crave going out with people like that. They're not dating Amber who's secretly into Shadowrun and loves her dog Pancakes. They're dating Amber The Stripper who may or may not be addicted to cocaine and wears the sexy schoolgirl uniform at the coffee shop where they met. They tell their friends that they love her even though she has a past (and a present) but really they want her BECAUSE she has a past (and a present).

They want to be better than her, and teach her to be a perfect waifu out of gratitude for saving her from her sad doomed life and deigning to be with her. But they also want their friends to see the hot sexy dangerous girl on their arm in that schoolgirl uniform. And they want to tell themselves how generous and compassionate and open-minded they are for being with someone.

Amber could be dating someone else, even a "normie" or nerd, and what I'm talking about need not be present. What matters is that to her BF, she isn't Amber, she's a Stripper. It's narcissism masquerading as compassion.

>Natasha backwards.
Yes, very clever Piers.

Thanks. I've known a lot of people-- men and women-- who have either been that kind of person or been on the other end of a relationship with one.

And yeah I can see the potential for a storyline where either the sponsored or the sponsor ends up being a demon. Probably a gluttony demon, though really all the sins can lead to and from one another.

If you're both broken, then it's possible that you can be co-dependent and thus feed the succubus who fixed you two up or pulls the strings to keep you two chained together. Or maybe you're just peers who really do find caring and compassion (and epic sex) with one another... as the succubus nearby shakes its head and grimaces with unfulfilled hunger.

I wouldn't say that, but who knows? If I *were* projecting, would that make my point wrong?

>muh moral superiority
>muh Hikaru Genji fantasy
While I don't deny that people like that likely do exist, you realize you are projecting as fuck by interpreting it as if people like that are the majority and the norm when they actually aren't?

Nice!

You could just as easily have the succubus be the Queen's handmaiden.

>"You need to be beautiful, my lady, to inspire your subjects and bring esteem to your husband's realm."

>"Your highness, you must look extra beautiful this night, for Lady Hseldi will be here and her own seductive beauty is renowned as the greatest and most irresistable in the kingdom."

>"His Majesty will be here this night, my Queen. Let us make you surpassingly beautiful tonight, that no other will even tempt him to turn his gaze from you."

She's appealing to the Queen's highest motives to cultivate her vanity. Then stoking her pride and jealousy, and eventually provoking suspicion and malice. And what might she eventually be able to convince the Queen to do in the name of that vanity? Dark arts? Revenge for "slights" that are really just disguised jealousy? Jealousy driving paranoia? Being troublesome to the people around her, even her King, in the name of looking beautiful? Creating strife in the Kingdom based on petty social squabbles that turn into violence-- all over a Queen's narcissism? Hades, yeah.

What better way to ruin a marriage than to have the Queen's vanity (which she pursues thinking that it will save her marriage) be the source of strife?

Make something morally neutral a means to an end, then an end in itself, and then evil a means to that morally neutral thing as the end.

And the adventurers see the Queen as the source of the problem, not the maid who isn't even present at court to witness the sins that she still feeds on through having caused them.

If coolness isn't about social status hierarchies, then what is it about?

A tiefling that thinks they are descended from a succubus.

Where am I saying that they're the norm? A succubus doesn't need to feed from The Majority or even a typical person. It just needs to find or create a person like this and then use his or her weakness to lead him or her into sin and eventually doom.

People like this absolutely exist. I've known many of them. BUT. They're not the norm and don't have to be unless you're in a setting where succubi are way more common than they are in most fantasy settings.

That's the thing about archetypes like this. People complain that they're wrong. "That's not what most people are like!" Or "Not every person is like that!" That's fine. My games aren't intended to make comments about everybody or even most people. And even most of the NPCs in my game aren't like that or anything else. Those are good arguments against stereotyping, but they're terrible arguments to use against using an archetype at all.

>He hasn't read any of the multiple h doujins centred entirely around this concept

Real talk, my problem with your argument isn't whether you're stereotyping people or not - my problem is that you are implying that virtue ethics are inherently right by claiming that sin (and therefore, evil) comes from twisted intent, allowing succubi to feed on it.
Interpreting sinful behaviour via the lens of virtue ethics is pretty fucking arrogant.

HA
Fan a campaign with one
>100% convinced he was the offspring of some greater demon (after all, i have horns) only for an horacle to call him a "filthy temptator"
All in all he was great, ended up NG and settled down with the bard

But this is where I come TO masterbate

>"Youth is so fleeting, mum. Men desire it above all, and it is the curse of womanhood. I've heard of woodswomen with charms to stave off the evils of old age, but such things are not meet for women of high virtue. So says the high cleric, and his law cannot be controverted, regardless of the circumstances."

>"Your majesty, I-I-I would never even suggest such a thing. But your plight seems so dire. Your son's peril is so great. But I have seen Lord Ackroll's eyes lingering on you. Were he to stand as witness refuting the Prince's alleged indiscretions, well, he is not of this realm and owes nothing to the King."

>"Such insults to your royal personage are unforgivable. I am so sorry that His Majesty places politics over his own lady wife, but if I might be so bold... there are ways that a woman might convince a man to do her bidding. Secrets known to courtesans that would make a proper woman blush, and yet which will open a man's heart to counsel."

>"Great Queen! Did you not hear! It is sad, to be sure, that both knights died in their duel. But how the great the legend of your beauty will be! Is it not as I said? Your favor bestowed on one, a knowing look to another? I have already heard a singer composing the story as an ode to your beauty. Such hot-tempered men do not belong in your husband's service anyway, and are there not always more rough men with swords?"

"Oh, your highness! Your daring has no equal! Every man turned his head, and the High Cleric was as red as a beet! Tailors are busy throughout the realm trying to match the cut of your gown, and even peasant girls have cut their garments trying to imitate you. The king was shocked, to be sure, but did he not show commendable vigor later that night? What the voice of the Realm could not openly say, his body declared quite clearly."

Dunno. Perhaps an aestetical concept? Like, pulchritude of action or of being? A virtue of being pleasant to behold, as opposed to the purely social ones, like, say, of making people care about your interests or priorities.
I sure may be wrong here.

Well, I think you could adapt what I'm saying to any of several models of ethics. In fact, I was mainly looking at it through the logical of causality.

In other words, when someone commits a crime, any demon who did something which, but for their actions the sin wouldn't have happened, becomes mystically tied to the sin and can derive sustenance from it. Legal theorists call this "but for" causality.

I think where you're missing me is that you think I'm implying a moral judgement of a person as a whole. And there are plenty of philosophical systems that do this, and I don't think it's inherently arrogant. But it's not what I'm doing here. What I'm instead doing is placing the total moral judgement of another person onto the lover, one which drives him/her to seek out people who they see as lower than themselves. In fact, it's his/her use of virtue ethics, while not sinful in itself, that is the core that prompts the sinful acts.

And even that needn't be the case, because moral judgment and social status hierarchies overlap. The "abuser" in this case need only juggle two parallel hierarchies-- the conventional social one that puts her as the moral successful one (despite her private insecurities) and the one that makes her broken lover look cool/dangerous-- and thus higher on another hierarchy. Moral judgments and status judgments are hopelessly conflated even at the best of times.

My point is that the "good" lover is wrong for judging themselves abstractly better than their "broken" lover, and that that leads them to sinful acts which the succubus feeds on through the link of having helped cause them.

Unless you mean that it's arrogant to pass total judgment on the succubus. And there you've lost me. If there was ever a case for using virtue ethics (assignment of an overall moral worth to a person), it's on a demon from Hell.

I mean, we can play the definitions game, but as it's usually used in real life? In my experience, someone is "cool" means they have or are entitled to status. And the implication is that some people are cool, some are not, and some are positively UNcool.

We're no different from other animals in this regard, especially other primates. We have an elaborate social hierarchy. Those at the top enjoy special benefits and privileges. Those at the bottom suffer abuse, ridicule, and may even be driven out altogether. Humans are engaged in a constant struggle to establish, climb, and reap benefits from status hierarchies. Alongside the economics game and the political science game, there's a parallel game of social esteem from our peers-- totally intangible but very real nonetheless.

Sure
Adapting their methods to the current enviroment is a sound tactic. If traditional methods of enticing men have proved inefficient among the community and acting more wifelike works well and allows them to fulfill their purpose then sure, it is fine.
Sometimes having a single reliable and stable source of sperm/desire/whatever from a hand-picked source can be preferable to uncertaintly and can offer other benefits, ie, not getting hunted by the local authorities, getting protection and high quality living etc that would otherwise be unavailable.

I want to succ that ubus

Where can i read other comfy mangos like this one?
I generally hate weebshit, but this was just really cute and enjoyable

>"My queen, I'm so sorry to admit that I, too, have heard those rumors. His Majesty has long been gone on campaign, to be sure, and are not even good and faithful men aroused in the passions of battle? Do we women not have needs as well? I counsel you, if you will permit my boldness, to accept and forgive the king in your heart. Let on to no one that you know, least of all the king himself. And if you are someday similarly aroused to passion, then..."

>"My lady, I am so sorry to hear of the troubles in your heart. Alas, they are all too common, especially when your husband is absent so frequently and so long on affairs of state. I am gratified that you did not let yourself be tempted by that young knight. Indeed, I no longer regret the duty that compelled me to tell you of his desire, for has this test of your constancy not been passed? Sending him away was for the best. And yet I know well the loneliness you still feel, the longing. Such lusts need an outlet, lest they tempt you again. And... there IS a way for you to find release without risking treason or scandal. A maid in your service may lawfully share your bed, and as what happens in the dark, well... Such things happen all the time, are rarely spoken of, and can never be proven. I have arranged this many times before for other noble ladies. If you do not object, the new chamber maid with the dark hair? She is young, I grant you, but dutiful and discrete. You deserve a reward for resisting temptation, do you not?"

>"Oh, my lady. I had no idea! A king is a busy man with many cares, and so it is no surprise that he might falter. Do not blame yourself! You comported yourself as a high-born woman, with grace and dignity. Would he have you prance about like a common whore? No, his many cares and lack of rest are to blame. And now indeed I am thankful that you have fortified his nightly mulled wine with a potion to bring him strength, for who can say indeed how much worse things might have been?"

She has a harem made up of her lover's different versions from across the multiverse.

>the quantum whore
aaaaaaaaand that goes right into the stolen ideas drawer

>"Your highness! To think that that brazen hussy would speak of your majesty's private matters to her confessor? It is unthinkable! She should have thanked you for the honor you did her, or at the least obeyed you as was her duty. She had no right to endanger the realm letting her mouth run on with a cleric. And when the High Cleric returns from pilgrimage? Who knows what trouble might come of this? You need not fear, though, for I have spoken to a man. A mere street scoundrel, but one who knows better than a disobedient, ungrateful maid how to hold his tongue. If we act immediately, then all can be saved. I regret to say that you must speak to the wretch yourself, but if you do so, then he can ensure that both cleric and maid are well away before the High Cleric returns. Oh, my lady, do not ask what I mean by 'well away', for it is best that we do not speak so plainly."

>"The impudence of the man! Leering and pawing at your daughter. Why, she only came of age a few years ago! She is still a child! It is improper for the heir to a mere lord to lust for one so high above him. And for one so young, it is totally inappropriate. Might he design to entangle her in scandal? She is naive and does not yet understand the ways of the world. He is a full five years older than your little girl, a man grown. Such men should desire women, not mere children. Indeed, is it not outrageous that he eyes the child when surrounded by so many beautiful women of the court? Including your ladyship, if I may be so bold. If only there was a way to shield your daughter from this danger, and perhaps repay his insult at the same time."

You see the idea. A succubus can quietly spin all kinds of webs, get the Queen to think and do and say all kinds of things. To sin via sex, and to use sex (or its lack) to provoke other sins. To both corrupt the Queen, and to use the Queen to corrupt the servants and nobility, including the Royal Family. And, via her example, the whole realm.

GURPS already did this with various incarnations of Lord Byron all meeting together but being sexually dominated by... Lady Byron, from an alternate universe where he was born female instead.

I am just happy to indirectly introduce some poor players to my magical realm.

I think you two are operating on two different definitions of crave. Most people can swallow their libido, but if you have an implant that gives you a libido on the level of a heroin craving then we have a problem.

Vigne makes a wonderful housewife.

It's not going to work. They're sex demonesses. They fuck literally everyone and everything. She's probably had a thousand cocks in her, and some of them are animal cocks.

Because they kill you by snu snu, so no monogamy, or at least not for long. They're massively charismatic and promiscuous by purpose, so shy and moderate is out the door.

If you want to change succubi to fill you fetish, go ahead, you are just butchering their original purpose of soul harvesters who prey on the lustful. Monogamy is a hard no, because then you limit the soul you can harvest, this could be changed to be a manipulator who tries to make a man commit massive atrocities to empower the evil forces of the setting, but why keep to one man? Loyalty is only to hell/abyss/lord/whatever, or to themselves.

Succubi being demons are pretty much ageless. So what if they act all coy for a human life time, its a drop in the proverbial time bucket. Its just indulging itself for a bit.

Except it's christian canon that the Pope Sylvester II fucked a succubus into being a good waifu.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Sylvester_II

You'd die of a heart attack if a moderately attractive woman were to touch you, you fucking robot loser.

And by "Christian canon" you mean "an opponent of the pope wrote a story claiming that he consorted with demons".

Did you write the pee gate memos, too?

Indulging itself with what? Something totally antithetical to its nature? Do you indulge yourself by growing leaves and becoming an autotrope?
