-Chatty/In character, at the risk of being grating or unclear?
-Formal and clear, at the risk of hampering creativity/interpretation and reading like a textbook?
-'Lore filled' and more open, at the risk of not providing enough information ?

Depends. Waifu/Companion/Character focused cyoa? In character.
More focused on the setting/adventure aspect? Lore filled.
Formal and clear is the best for 'choose your equipment' and that kind of stuff.

I actually really like in character narrators, as long as their personality isn't too one note.

Greetings Veeky Forums. I have been working on a CYOA, and was wondering how if any of the creators here had any suggestions on what programs I should use to make it, since I'm at the point where it is all written, I just need to take it from a shitty text document to an image.

I have a desktop pc, but am rarely home for very long, so I'll need to rely mainly on my mac. Inconvenient and shitty, I know. As such, a program that isn't exclusive to pc would be preferred.

Lastly, I've heard a lot about what the width of a CYOA image should be, but is there a preferred length I should be going for?
