Pretty sure this is the outdated version. That said, it's debatable whether the new version is an improvement or not.

What is the new version like? I personally find the posted version a bit too complicated for what it offers.

The new version is a bit more complicated. You no longer get credit for your current age and instead get 4 free months to sped in each section. There're no more power limiters, but instead a system of artifacts where you can slot in powers for a reduced cost. Amulet, for example, can support one power at /4 cost, but is only usable when you're genuinely afraid for your life. There's a secondary power drawback system in the form of seals (e.g. -1 year on a power if you are bound to never lie). The third drawback system inflicts apocalyptic conditions on the Earth in exchange for de-aging. Zombie apocalypse, for example, is -10 years. These cannot be taken in conjunction with Portal, which has been somewhat nerfed. Forgotten Realms has been nerfed into oblivion--the setting is watered down and you get basically no points for going there.

There are quite a few more powers, many with built-in "mastery" improvements you can take for multiplied costs. This part, I rather like. Also, you explicitly can no longer grant yourself years with "give longevity". Oh, and there are also options for creating companions and "uplifting" the whole world with powers.

There are definitely good parts to it, but others (rip Forgotten Realms) are pretty debatable.

Prison Tour

Hello there, you must be the hero assigned to survey the facility's safety and security. I'm the Warden here, with Sister Purity serving as the Vice Warden. You may be feeling some faint tingling from the connection into the virtual prison, that's completely normal and will fade in a few moments. If you'll just follow me, I'll show you around the prison's facilities, the genpop, and the rehabilitation area.

If you'll notice, as we walk past, the security cameras located on the sides of the hallway follow us. Our surveillance systems are the best in the known galaxy, and when operated by our Head of Security, the highly acclaimed TAY, nothing that the inmates do escapes our notice. Our staff is primarily real people, a decision that I made myself due to concerns about the efficacy of automated virtual guards when compared to the highly trained personnel that we have on staff here. What you're seeing however, are futanari avatars that they use while inside the prison, and not their actual bodies, and they also use psuedonyms while on shift. This minimizes the risk of inmates identifying guards and potentially targeting them or their families if our rehabilitation program somehow fails. Furthermore, our armory is well stocked with bleeding edge equipment, although due to our innovative rehabilitation program and excellent security, there has been no need as of yet to actually use any of said equipment. Furthermore, we have Ice, the former warden of another maximum security prison, as well as retired hero Stopman on staff. Both of them contribute their invaluable knowledge and experiences with criminals to our team, and I have to say that we're lucky to have them.

Okay, we've reached genpop, or the general population. This is where the majority of our nearly one thousand inmates reside. You may be asking yourself "Warden, this facility is mixed gender, is it not?" and true enough it is. However, we initially experienced severe problems with discipline and infighting when both male and female inmates mingled, and so we decided that it was in the best interests of both the prisoners and the staff that the gender issues be corrected. Using the latest in medical research, all prisoners are turned into futanari, that is to say, hermaphrodites, upon entry into the prison, and then their prison avatar is created based on their new body.

Some heroes that have visited in the past have expressed concerns with this decision, but the prisoners all adapt to their new bodies quickly, and in many cases are happier with their body image than they were prior to the change. Around their necks you may notice what looks like a metal collar. In actuality, that's one of Stark Industries' newest contributions to the world, a small collar that suppresses superpowers so that villains are brought back down to the same level as everyone else, and also allows guards to quickly subdue unruly inmates.

Ahh, it's Treatment time. Please step back, as the cell doors will be opening soon. Once daily, inmates are lined up and travel through our medical center, which is naturally outfitted with the best equipment available, and are given a thorough medical check, several injections that will become more relevant later in the tour, and a quick dip into our Beta Wave Cerebrogram. It's quite bluntly, mind reading technology. Our inmates' frequent dips in them give us detailed information about the inmates' personality, fears, and interests, allowing us to build accurate psych profiles that let us form a plan and chart the inmate's progress along our rehabilitation program.

As you may have noticed from how much I talk about it, our prison is heavily focused on rehabilitating the villains and scum of society, turning them into invaluable assets to society. This program is spearheaded by our Vice warden, who believes that at the core of criminal behavior is a lack of self control and empathy for others. To this end, our program focuses on fostering mastery of the self, as well as instilling a desire to serve in our inmates.

The injections that I mentioned earlier drastically increase the libido and the severity of physical stimuli in recipients, which naturally makes inmates highly aroused and easily brought to orgasm. However, to foster self control, inmates are not allowed to orgasm at all, and are kept from doing so by a series of rings, also provided generously by Stark Industries, that prevent the wearer from orgasming. The rings are quite easily removed if the inmate can't stand being unable to cum, but doing so violates two rules of the prison, one prohibiting the intentional removal of the rings, as well as the rule prohibiting orgasm. In this way, to avoid breaking the rules, inmates must suppress their temptation for immediate gratification, just as how once free, they will need to suppress the temptation to go back to their old ways.

This leads me to my next section, on the rehabilitation area. This is split into three primary sections. On the left, you can see ten of our inmates happily enjoying the lottery system. You see, although the Sister disagrees with me, I believe that when there's a light at the end of the tunnel, people are more likely to follow the rules of their own free will. Thus, the lottery system. Every week, all inmates in Good Standing are entered into a 'random' drawing, secretly weighted towards inmates with good behavior, and 10 inmates are drawn as winners. The winners exempted from the bans on removing the ring or cumming for the day and are allowed the use of these sex machines for up to four hours, which will bring them to orgasm repeatedly.

The latter two are for rulebreakers. On the right is the Re-education Center, which is an ominous name for a relatively benign procedure. At night, rulebreakers are strapped into the machines, and during the roughly 6 hours a night that the human brain spends in Stage 3 sleep, the machine uses hypnotic signals to implant mental associations that can become patterns of behavior if nurtured.

In particular, the machine uses a set of associations we like to call the Good Girl set, which focuses on linking following rules, submission, and altruism to happiness and pleasure. It also links swallowing semen to trust, which is a key component in the next area.

Up ahead is the Arcade, where the associations are cemented into consistent sets of values and behaviors. In it, members of the community outside of the prison use randomized avatars and sexually use the rulebreakers, instilling a strong desire to serve the community to the best of their ability in them. This also improves the reputation of the villains in the public eye, so that when they leave the prison, they're not forced back into the arms of other villains by negative public opinion. After their daily shift in the Arcade, rulebreakers are provided with meals consisting entirely of semen with additional nutrients added by the guards, and their diet is restricted to such for the duration of their two week long punishment period, taking advantage of the mental association to firmly cement a trust of the guards and similar authority figures. In fact, many inmates request permission to service the guards and swallow their cum outside of punishment, proof that this trust in the guards is both strong and lasting.

So, as you can clearly see, the security here is unquestionable, and our innovative rehabilitation system is putting our inmates on track to become invaluable superheroes, putting their dark pasts behind them. No it's not sarcasm, I seriously just blinked twice in cluelessness when I read that I should do that. I just kind of figured only a few people were bothering with my text only CYOAs, so either they were already invested or just skimmed over. It didn't occur to me that there might be new people who would be interested, or that people that previously were too busy to bother with it might give it another look.

BTW I'm like 95% done with the image version of this for you, just have to photomanip up another image for the cyoa and it should be done....been swamped the last 3 days though so haven't been able to really do anything on it. I've photomanipulated every image so far to some extent so they fit the cyoa, including mocking up a "tentacle devourer phone & app".

I'm kind of amazed that Fate's Yarn in Moderate Conveniences is only worth one point. Any fate you desire guaranteed as long as you can spend at least a minute describing it while tying the yarn around the person is insanely powerful, especially considering my initial thought was to use the yarn to give myself the fate of ascending to godhood, uplifting all of my loved ones so they can join me, and being powerful enough that the other gods can't or don't want to bother threatening any of us in any way. Which those turned out to be surprisingly relevant concerns when I got to Major Changes and Minor Troubles.

This is probably my favourite one, good mix of waifus with pros and cons, and the added factor of having to balance the super powers you want with the ones that they'll like.

Haha! I wrote that one forever ago, and didn't really pay much attention to it when I came back and finished it. I guess it IS really overpowered, but I thought of it more like the red string of fate, something people would probably do to tie bonds between people, or maybe just manipulate others maliciously. None of the items that were made by her were really ever described as though they had the potential to surpass beings like herself in how they could be used, although the reason her Mentor wanted the Toolbox destroyed was because it actually can cause some serious trouble for him. The yarn, if used in the way you describe, would probably just railroad you harder towards accepting the Mystery Box at the end of Major Changes and Minor Troubles, with added assurance that you would get the good ending.
