Red eyes are for edgy faggots
Blue eyes are tryhards

Horobi no Bāsuto Sutorīmu

Ravioli ravioli, do not molest dragon loli.

Seto's waifu. Then I sacrifice it for something else.

Blue eyes because its better than red eyes

...

...

right is edge
left is olev

Blue-Eyes is the kind of dragon you have to get the perfect gift to impress, and it's worth every cent and every hour of work to see that smile.

Red-Eyes will take your white elephant gift or your old ugly sweater and figure out some use for it anyway, then send you a thank-you letter and $20.

>it's not real

Red-Eyes Black Dragon
He looks more intimidating.

What is Lucoa then, Googly-Eyes Drum Dragon?

Good, that card is awful

>What is Lucoa then
Best girl of course.

Heterochromic Thicc Dragon

Free yourself from Dragon faggotry

Look, guys! I can be tryhard too! Really!

But I like dragons.

Which one?

Two tributes for 2400 attack? Or two tributes for 3000 attack?

Red-eyes has bretty good support, but Blue-eyes is prime waifu material. Final verdict? Both.

if ever there was a case of "why not both?" this is it.

Obviously

Red-eyes is cool and has more support than Blue-eyes, but as an archetype, it's too incoherent.
There's too many gimmicks, like burn, gemini, equips, Red-eyes just doesn't know what it wants to be.
At least Blue-eyes focuses on one thing, spamming big fat 3k beatsticks.

For me it's Shapesnatch, the best normal monster.

>5 stars
>1200 attacks points

Why.

The one with a warm vagina, obviously.

>fucking undead

Read the text, bro. It's to lure unsuspecting monsters into attacking so he can take control of them.

>Frostosaurus

Mah nigga.

Same reason why and pic related are have the same attack despite one needing one less tribute than the other

Konami didn't and doesn't give a fuck about balance

Red Eyes, because Australians > Rich-Kids

Both of them!

They want to fight, but my magic prevents them from doing so!

Whites > Blacks

Wind-up rabbit

Mulattos >>>> Whites> Blacks

I see you are a man of great taste.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.

The card game was made after people thought it looked cool in the manga, right? I feel like it was one of those situations where the "rules" weren't clearly defined because it was meant to be a one-off thing for the story, and when it was picked up as an actual card game they tried to match the design as close as possible but didn't know how to adapt the rules to the "make shit up" nature of how it appeared in the story.

This shit right here.

You're basically on the nose. The comic started out as an entirely different thing until the writer made up his own in-universe TCG which proved to be extremely popular. By that point the writer was riding on the fame of that, and ended up picking two different companies to adapt it: Bandai who did a piss poor job at adapting it and only managed to release three sets and Konami who still didn't get it exactly right because balance reasons, but the story essentially adapted to the differences, as far as I can remember.

It feels like a lot of the ideas that get pushed out, including then and right now, are mostly the work of the creator himself, coming up with a lot of crazy ideas for tribes and shit and then telling Konami to make cards based around them. It's horridly appearant in the first movie they made, where Pyramid of Light read "all god cards are removed from play" when the irl version has nothing to do with that and at the end of the day produced an obtuse win condition which wouldn't even work when it came out initially.

Blue-eyes because 3000 attack beat sticks are fun to throw around.

This guy is the real MVP though. Miss the days when I could run three of him in a deck.

>Master Race Aryan Dragon>Weed Eyes Nigger Dragon

I field both in Dice Master's. Red Eyes makes all my Bolt monsters cheaper by 2, then pic-related with a D&D Half-dragon... pretty soon you're fielding Bolt/Dragon types that are normally 6 drops for the price of 1.

>It feels like a lot of the ideas that get pushed out, including then and right now, are mostly the work of the creator himself, coming up with a lot of crazy ideas for tribes and shit and then telling Konami to make cards based around them
It's all Konami and whichever poor bastards are stuck writing the anime and manga. The original creator only contributes character designs here and there nowadays. In the case of Pyramid of Light, it and the cards designed were made by 4kids Entertainment. The only thing that the creator did of note with the series was scripting The Dark Side of Dimensions and designing characters for it, but even then a cowriter stepped in partway, being credited as a duel writer, to make sure that the cards were more in line with the real game.

>but even then a cowriter stepped in partway, being credited as a duel writer, to make sure that the cards were more in line with the real game.

I hope it wasn't too bad, I haven't seen that film.

It's actually pretty good, but it could have been a lot different. Two hours of the script was removed before being finalized and given what actually did make it in, the cut material was probably insane by comparison.

Already sounds better than Bonds Beyond Time desu

Malefics were strictly designed to just say "fuck you" to all of them, and even then he couldn't win despite being a time-traveling fuckboy

>prevent them from "fighting"

somebody stop this user

I won't spoil anything for you, but it's actually a movie and not just an extended card game ad like Pyramid of Light and Bonds Beyond Time were

The Blue-Eyes White Dragon is clearly the superior dragon in terms of power. It and all of its variations are about overhwhelming strength.

Red-Eyes is cool because it is instead about potential. It comes in a variety of very different forms that can find strength in their own way.

Both dragons are fine, and different. My preference will still always be to boring ol 'Blue-Eyes though, since it was the first card that I ever saw during that spark that got me interested in playing this game. It was a good ride, until the downward spiral went a little too far, but I don't regret it.

Do I have good news for YOU!

No thanks.

I got my dragon waifu.

The one that's stronger with more support. Is this even a question?

...

>what does this make me
A cool guy who uses a cool petdeck, which unfortunately caused the creation of this walking tumor.

>It's another edgy black version with red glowing lines evolutionary powercreep of a perfectly good monster
Goddamn it, at least with REDMD it had just cause to be red/black, this is just awful and ruins the look that the CD series had going for ti.

And I thought Cyber End Dragon was bullshit.
XYZ were a mistake.

Spotted the vore-furryfag

I don't think Xyz in itself is a problem, it still follows the theme of two (or more) monsters joining forces to become a stronger monster, which has been a thing since Fusion.
Early Xyz monsters had downsides, such as pic related blowing itself up if you let it run out of ammo.
The problem started when Konami decided to shill the shiny new black cards as much as they could, so the R4nk toolbox cancer was born.
Two level 4 monsters will let you have an answer to everything your opponent can do, while a synchro player has to play solitaire combos for 10 minutes to set up a mediocre board.

t. eternally angry synchro baby

>not choosing the supreme dragon

He's like 14 years old, user. What's wrong with you?

Darkside of Dimensions is great, and Kaiba is easily the best part.

Poor Zarc, killed by new rules after a single booster pack.
I know he was the main antagonist and therefore should have been released at the last pack of Arc-V, but still.
At least I got to enjoy Zarc Magicians for a bit.

>Kaiba is easily the best part
That's granted, Kaiba is the best part of everything.

what is this advanced faggotry?

...

Neither.

>killed by new rules

You clearly aren't trying hard enough

>killed by new rules after a single booster pack
Did Link Summon really killed Pendulum bullshit?
I am not really up to speed with the metagame.

>Digimon 1st series had a literal catfight between Sexy Bondage Angel-mon and Sexy Bondage Devil-mon
>Meanwhile, the Pokemon fandom produces porn over a literal turnip
I'll never understand pokekids.

This isn't Gardevoir you fucking moron.

It's Bancholilymon, a digivolution of Lilymon, AKA the actual best girl of Digimon Adventure.

I believe you can only pendulum summon to the extra zone, or linked zones.
Meaning without link monsters you can only pendulum summon 1 monster, or with with links you can get at best 3.
Also pendulum zones are the furthest left and right spell and trap zones now.

Is there anywhere I can read the updated rules online?
I want to see how different the game has become since I last played it.

pendulums were a mistake
