GURPS, but having seen all the plebs on those desert island reality shows, I bet they'd be too normalfag/casualfag for it and would just fuck about trying to make signal fires when they saw ships or planes.

Huh, I thought OP meant we'd be alone, but all of the GURPS publications would provide ample reading material for passing the time, and may well contain information about whereever we are and how to survive there.

I agree on GURPS often the depth of information is useful in the real world plus d6 is the easiest dice to make, imagine having to make a d20 out of rocks and coconuts

d20 is easy, take coconut half, inscribe with numbers, spin.

I'm assuming you don't mean ALONE on a desert island and you would be playing with a group of survivors.

In that case I would probably pick Moldvay B/X D&D, it's in my opinion one of the best and most concise RPGs ever written. Also incredibly easy to homebrew, which is important if I'm going to be running it for the rest of my life.

Could we also make this thread about sexy fantasy ladies with pet big cats?

Legends of the Wulin, because it runs the kind of game I enjoy most the best of any system in existence, and I've actually gotten past the huge barrier to entry.

Still, if someone makes a better version or my own homebrew attempts get off the ground, that would replace it.
