How are you guys dealing with the fact that all of our local exchanges can't accept FIAT deposits because all the banks are holding them up?
Where are you going? Coinbase? Anywhere else?
Hopefully this BS gets resolved soon so we can join some moon missions.

I didn't even know this was happening though, I've put all the fiat in I wanted to and am now trading with profits. As long as they don't start blocking deposits back to fiat I'm fine.

I use coinbase to deposit from Australia instantly from my bank with no hassles. Most of the time their rate is cheaper than the aus exchanges anyway. No withdrawals though so you have to use the local ones for that.

CoinSpot's verification is a bit much, and their fees are quite high (2-3%) but they get the job done pretty smartly once you're signed up and verified.

If I want to buy altcoins, do I deposit fiat into BTCmarkets and buy bitcoin with that then trsfr the BTC to my desktop wallet and then transfer from wallet to binance and use BTC to buy altcoins?
Or can i transfer straight from BTc to binance? And should i use litecoin instead?

Not sure, I haven't really used Litecoin. As far as I know, Binance only deals with BTC and ETH trading pairs anyway. Someone might want to say otherwise if I am wrong.
