1. There have been 'tieflings' in anime since forever. They actually turn up more often than elves. Half demons with random monstrous attributes are not a D&D thing.

2. When was the last time you actually saw an elf I'm a high fantasy anime? There aren't actually that many of them once you disregard your porn comics. Pretty much just Slayers and Record of the Lodoss War have loads of elves, and they portray them fine enough.

I like to shit on anime elves as much as the next guy, but Danmachi elves are really walking arcane nukes of mass destruction. Or something else than just ordinary bow-shooters. They are also not one-dimensional fap-bait in slutgear. This manga/anime actually does them some justice, in generell every fantasy race. It gets the price for the most badass halfling.
