How would a Vampy cyoa work? I can't think of any interesting choices. Deciding between whether she'll suck blood from your neck or from your dick?

...

...

It's complete.

Not happy with this one bit. Actively furious at it actually. Could've been much better, but being so old, I just wanted to get it out of the way, and done.

Chances are I won't do many more straight up just powers CYOAs. People seem to prefer ones with a more worldbuilding, and I prefer writing them.

Mystery Box coming Soon^TM

We prefer waifus. Do not disappoint us again.

Reposting because last time I was praised and it made me happy.
Kingdom:
Famine
Necessity is the mother of invention. My people understand this very well.

Royal city:
The clockwork city
Which is why we live in a giant clock.

Land:
Gaia pillars
"Alain!"
"Yes?"
"Get this girl some clockwork sword, or something dumb like that. I want those painted pillars."
After one of them is painted, we turn it to a city. When they're all painted, I'll give the girl some kind of a gift. I don't know what yet.

Border walls
We're keeping the damn Pestians out!
That means you.

Stormy lakes
For tourism and fun purposes.

Spectral lands
Because a steampunk land under eternal night with bizarre events is basically par for the course.

Mountain ranges
Because who doesn't love a few nice mountains?

Lava lands
Don't invade. Please.

Citizen life:
Education tier 1 and 2 (16)
Because we're a smart people! We know that we have to learn in times of plenty, or we will learn in times of famine.

Engineering tier 1 and 3 (14)
How could someone not learn how this works when they're constantly staring at the inner mechanisms?

Craftsmanship tier 1 2 and 3 (11)
People become experts because they have to.

Hardworking tier 1 2 and 3 (8)
Work hard, play hard, that's our motto. Minus the playing bit. It's mostly working.

Happiness tier 1 2 and 3 (5)
But even so, they're still happy. If not, most towns have someone that can make them happy.

Community tier 1 2 and 3 (2)
We are one country. We must help each other, because we are the only ones who will.

Dutiful tier 3 (1)
More like Sherlock Holmes than Spider-Man, but I bet it'd be entertaining.

Metalwork tier 2 (0)
In a world made of metal, better metal is better.

sauce?

...

Garrisons:
Grand dragon
A fire dragon may be cliche, but after a few years in the forge, it'll thank me.

Empire's hands
Shh. I'm keeping these secret so no one knows i have them, you dig?

Royal guard
Royal guard
Royal guard
300 royal guards to fight in my name, for my glory. Against 3000 enemies, they only need to kill 10 each. Easy Peasy!

Seal:
Baby eldritch horror
Who's a cute widdle abomination? If I live long enough, the return on my investments will be great.

Powers:
Land sense
Who knows a clock better than its maker? This land isn't a clock, and I didn't make it, but still.

Royal presence
I am the king. I am the one that rules. Of course I have a kingly presence.

Sculpted body
It fits for the king to have a kingly body.

Silver tongue
And a kingly tongue.

Magus training (tentacles)
And kingly tentacles. What? Occult feels better than elemental stuff.

Mending flesh
Because I don't want to lose my arm to never get it back.

Iron hide
Because I don't want to lose my arm in the first place.

Diplomat:
Zanzabar, bound scourge
Okay. Stick with me here. Zanzabar knows a lot, right? So, I bet, because of his indepth knowledge of the nations, he'd be the best diplomat.

Bodyguard:
Alain and Marie
Alain, more like. I'm not having Marie fight for me! What do you take me for?

Spymaster:
Christoph III
Intelligent but insane makes for the best spymaster. It's not like he personally is going to spy on anyone. Just direct my hands, and they'll do the rest.

War-master:
Damien
Aside from Zanzabar, no one seems like a good fit. That said, Damien seems like he knows a lot about tactics.

Specialist:
Ophelia
Because what kind of a heartless monster would I be if I didn't take Ophelia?

Waifu:
Nali & Fiyu Tilsane
Two for the price of one is a done deal. I like each one a lot, they're useful, and they're fox girls. What more could I ask for?

No goals. No plans. Just being a monarch.

We need more fantasy/modern combinations. Not in the gay "we must uphold the masquerade" urban fantasy sense, though.

Are you a faggot or something?

I don't want to come into your city anyway. People come to US.

Besides, why would I ever leave a kingdom of beings physically enhanced to the ideal in favor of some sickly technophiles?

Oh, I recall this one from yesterday, when we exchanged walls of text about how it could develop. Well, it's not much different from WIP you provided at that time but it doesn't mean it's bad. Who knows, maybe one day you'll redo it, too. Still a decent thing (for a waifu- and lewdless thing, of course) so thanks, user.

I can taste the disappointment in this post.

Lords Famine and Pestilance, keep this meeting civil. Lets wait patiently until Lords War and Conquest arrive.
Also, go fish.

>Forth Lord; Death

>Braug Kr'tah
The design of this place will match well with my land choices I think. Plus I would love to have spirit people mingle with my people. Reminds me of Spirited Away.

>Gaia Pillars, Lava Lands, Spectral Lands, Snow Lands
Mine is a land of mystical hotsprings and waterfalls that flow even through the snow. The spiders would also be paid to connect all pillars with web bridges and elevator contraptions to make expansions much easier.
Come to the North Kingdom of Death. We have many attractions meant to relax and rejuvenate.

>Tier 1; Craftsmanship, Mercantile, Farming, Cooking, Entertainment
>Tier 2; Hard Working, Community, Mercantile, Farming, Cooking, Metalwork
>Tier 3; Craftsmanship, Engineering, Farming
I have plenty of supplies and raw materials for my people to work with. Combine that with their ingenuity, bazaars, and even the festivals to make Death's Kingdom one of peace, prosperity, and partying.

>The Raiding Legion
>Imperial Magus
>Royal Guard
>Empire's Hands
>Grand Dragon; Angelic
My Royal Guard will whip the other garrisons into top-quality shape, making them all versatile and even more fearsome. A small army, but they are both fast and hard hitters, decimating hordes of enemies with barely any casualties. The spies would also be incredibly useful in keeping my eyes and ears open to threats. My dragon is also a majestic beacon of hope for all in the empire.

>Reaper's Blade
>Oni's Armor
>Stalker's Sidearm

>Cat's Stride, Sculpted Body, Land Sense, Quick Reaction
Most of these are to aid me in combat, but Land Sense would be fun to explore the many lost tunnels of my city.

>Dragon's Wings, Titan's Blessing, Weapon Affinity; Sword
I am nigh unbeatable in combat. Fast in both action and reaction, as well as the strength to lift mountains.

No-one's more disappointed with this than me. I just don't have the will to make this any better.

I got about half way though, I was sleep deprived and bored of the whole thing.

>Royal Diplomat; Ophelia
Very knowledgeable and used to the Kingdom of Death. I'm sure she would be a good diplomat, as long as she has a "translator" for when she's quiet.
>Royal Bodyguards; The Legend, Solstice, Alain and Marie
The Legend is the wall between me and any other that would harm me. Solstice, Alain, and Marie are all just to have fun. Alain could also aid Damien in his duties as Warmaster.
>Royal Spymaster; Owl Girl
She's just perfect for my intentions for my spies. She'll do nicely as their head.
>Royal War-master; Damien
Strong, disciplined, and able to do what must be done. All these traits point to Damien making me an army of warrior monks that will protect the Kingdom.
>Royal Specialist; Bartholomew Esq.
The head butler, as well as Ophelia's personal escort/translator for when she must attend to her duties. Should work very well given his mannerisms and strength.

>Cethra Lilith Drove
I'm taking the fucking loli and you can't stop me.

Is this new? I'm away from these threads for a week and I'm already missing stuff

Don't let them talk ya down, Hendy boy. I like it!

Regeneration (10%)
Pheromones (20%)
Fragmented (10%)
Eye of the Beholder (15%)

Not going too ham here. I remember what I learned with Fleshweaver's
Clinic

Still slightly warm OC.
From 3 threads ago.

What are some cyoas with powerlevels?

dlc

>Death
Having immortal citizens seems to be a pretty good plus, and the extra seals and friends will be useful if any of the other horseman get replaced by someone who's... not so friendly.

>Braug Kr'tah
I'm going for a kingdom focused on being the cultural center of the world, and having magic and natural tourism will really help with that.

>The World Tree
>Gaia Pillars
>Spectral Lands
>Lava Lands
In stead of at the bottoms of mountains, Braug Kr'tah is stationed at the base of The World Tree. The Gaia Pillars that are spread throughout the land are are connected by rivers of lava (due to the whole Lava Lands thing). Floating rocks surround The World Tree due to the spectral lands. The rest of the surrounding Kingdom is mostly Spectral Lands with occasional magma fields and lava rivers.

>Hard Working 2
>Happiness 1, 2
>Craftsmanship 1, 3
>Mercantile 1, 2
>Farming 1, 2, 3
>Cooking 1, 2
>Entertainment 1, 2
Everything is to make this country one of rich culture, art, and amazing works. People come for our great and unique food, trade and specialty crafts are bountiful throughout the land, and our entertainment is known throughout the land. Be it for our natural wonders or our man-made ones, everyone will admire my kingdom.

>Skeleton Horde 1000
>Imperial Magus 200
>Empire's Hands 50
>Grand Dragon 1
The skeleton horde makes great "meat" shields and can be "re-assembled" is needed. Probably the best unit for simple front line defensive work. Offenses will be taken care of by the Magus', be it raining fire on the enemies or some other form of fire power, for raw strength in combat, magic is always a pretty good choice. Having what is essentially a black-ops corps is also useful for more clandestine operations. And last but not least.... why the hell would you NOT take the dragon?

>Baby Eldritch Horror
>Reaper's Blade
>Stalker's Sidearm
Eldritch Horror helps with kingdom defense/security. No one's going to cause trouble when unspeakable monstrosities are on guard. The Reaper's Blade and Stalker's Sidearm are both really good for combat, but the utility provided by SS is also pretty useful.

>Cat's Stride
>Silver Tongue
>Watchful Eye
>Quick Reaction
Agility and precision for in combat and quick talking for out. Not much to say about this.

>Dragon's Wings
>Magus Training: Illusion
>Weapon Affinity: Sword
Being able to fly? Is there anything more awesome than that? I think not. Also I'd think it'd be pretty useful. Want to be able to use my Reaper's Blade as best as I can, and Illusion magic has so many uses in tricking your enemies in and out of combat. Also, don't want people tricking me with magic (it says absolute control over so I think that'd help defensively against them also.

>Diplomat: Damien
>Spymaster: Owl Girl
>War-Master: Zanzabar, Bound Scourge
>Specialist: Ophelia
>Bodyguard(s): The Legend, Gracelyn Morandi, Solstice
Damien's calm and honest nature seems to be best suited to politics and keeping things peaceful between countries. The spymaster and war-master spots seem to be pretty obvious. Ophelia seems like she could be useful and could possibly learn and grow to be an even better necromancer or even general mage. Also, the specialist really seems like a "Royal Friend" option, and she seems like a nice friend. The Legend just seems like a powerful bodyguard to have around and Gracelyn seems good for solving any magical problems or threats. Solstice because I want to have someone around that can keep the mood light and she seems like she would be up to that task.

I don't really care about any of the Waifu options given. Lilith seems the best to me but the picture makes her look like a 5 year old and I'm not into that.

Hey! Someone saved it!
Love ya user.

It is kinda ok i guesd

>I got about half way though, I was sleep deprived and bored of the whole thing.
Sounds like getting burned out. When that happens, it's best to drop the work, get a day or two of a break and then return - much better overall results and effect on the psyche.

It's not that bad, user. It's just hopes were high after said talk with Henderson yesterday when brainstorming was in effect and CYOA has potential to be something Stardust/Magical Domain/Conduit-class. Now it's just okay, I've still had some fun with it.

like alternate universes or "the gods have come back!" kind of urban fanstasy?

Alternate universe. Like you know the Greek myths? How they'd just accept that cyclopedes existed, and gods too? Like that, only nowadays, and with modern myths too.

...

modern myths are memes and corporate news. Someone invented copyright, which implicitly created canon, which was the end of traditional myths.

Now community-created and shared myths can only exist if they're based on real life like the news (you can't copyright reality), or if there's no owner who can DMCA you (memes have basically had their copyright extinguished to the public).

>Youtube "prank" channels run by fairies
>Demons owning banks
>Angels in the legal system
>Centaur races
>Magic as part of the STEM field
I agree

>modern myths are memes and corporate news
"no"
In Liberia, soldiers believed you will be killed by a bullet with your name on it. Some soldiers wore wedding dresses in an attempt to confuse the bullets into thinking they were someone else.

And, user, copyright is oooold.
All of these except for STEM. Magic would obviously be part of the humanities, and would be the principle source of rivalry between the two.

>Women's Rights movements protesting succubi and slutty elves

I like the masquarade bit just not stated outright. I was toying with idea since some time of making CYOA where modern occult groups and orders would be doing their stuff, have their conflicts etc - having some fronts operating in broad daylight, just being disregarded by public the way IRL occult organizations are.

Yeah but that's gay.

Then I guess I won't make that CYOA then. Whew, one less thing to worry about.

Thanks.

A forest sounds like a good place for a troll market.

>succubi and slutty elves
Human women are now obsolete

Succubi would be held by the government, used as diplomats and spies. You think common folk like you would ever see them? Maybe on TV.

Assuming succubi act as they do in non-Animu land.

There was entire series of erotic stories written around that premise called Faephobia. Some of the stories involved women trying to "catch up" via magic and it going sexually awry. I also recall one where a dude turned himself into a sexy elf.

>Verea Amenta

My land is an endless dreamscape of everchanging icy forests. Just the sort of place to get lost in, forget from whence you came, and realize that you don't care. My citizens are simple folk, living the simple life in small, widely scattered villages. My Queen Verea is in charge of managing things and I'll assign all my companions to assisting her. Unfortunately, managing the ever shifting realm of frozen, deathly fae forests efficiently is near impossible, and I spend my time using my magic to tease, trick, and lead astray visitors. All while tormenting Verea with my love of the chaos of the natural and magical world.

this is pretty nice, is there a image file version?

>I also recall one where a dude turned himself into a sexy elf
Humanity is now obsolete

I think you may have misunderstood the Tiers in Citizen Life. Look at how other people did them, it's not like the normal Tier system

Box is done.

A diary full of fucked up shit and my sanity at 55? i ended up better than i expected no shoggoth waifu though that is a shame

Conquest seems like a gimped, flavorless version of War. It's especially insulting since Pestilence is a pretender.

>2015
Eyupp, the narrator's 28% sanity's showing.

>"It's 2015, people!"
How long did it exactly take you to make this thing?

...

>People seem to prefer ones with a more worldbuilding

You would be correct. I don't bother if the premise is "lol so randumb have some powers hehehe"

See

I'll have to post an updated version some time. Should still end up pretty similar though. Thanks.

The CYOA in the first post he linked to?

I haven't been able to read the thread for a few days so I just wanted to say that I missed you guys and that I'm happy to be here with you again.

Thanks for being here and posting

That is how you do it, no?

Unless by "Craftsmanship 3", that user meant "All tiers of Craftmanship, 1, 2, and 3".

Each Tier costs one point, but they are mutually exclusive. By purchasing Craftsmanship Tier 3, you don't automatically get Craftsmanship 1 and 2. That's why these builds
all specify what, exactly, they are taking.

What does /cyoag/ think of a cyoa with a few kemono options?

We need you to make this yeah good point.

It'd be purrfect

>it's another "user thinks the entire universe is CYOAs" post

I sort of did this. Not sure if this is what you're looking for though?

Currency: Yen. The only real choice. Plus it's a boost for my choice of wallet.

Wallet: Philanthropy. Last time I checked one Yen was less than a penny, which means I can get effective immortality for really cheap. Especially considering how rich I can become with Sci-Fi tech and robotic waifus and husbandos

Nah I've always hated secret societies and cults for some reason.

...

thank you zbg

>We prefer waifus.

No. Gas waifus and waifufags.
Leave waifus out of this.

When the waifu wars begin in earnest, who will weep your fallen corpse?

Sounds tight as hell.
Can succubi be raped?
