First for Scions were a mistake, Kasrkin were robbed.

Reminder

>Fighting alongside the Ultramarines was an experience I shall not soon forget. I think, towards the end, the sons of Macragge had almost begun to respect the tau fire caste. Some shared notion of honour, perhaps.

love the alien, literally in their gene(seed)

How's my salamander list

Not even Chaos tolerates the Xeno.

Wait, when were Tau fighting with Um

Ultramarines have had half-eldar among their ranks from their first inception.
They're filthy xenos fuckers one and all. That the Inquisition hasn't declared them traitors to the human race is nothing short of a miracle.

I'm in a bit of a predicament.

The short end of a long story is that I have 20 terminators: 10 Calth Cataphactii, 5 BoP Tartaros, and 5 FW tartaros. As much as I would love to dump them into one army, that's 1000+ points locked into 20 dudes, so I'm splitting them. Here's the million dollar question: who get the Catas and who gets the Tarts? The choices are Carcharodons and Night Lords. I'm heavily leaning towards Night Lords getting the Cata since Carcharodons can actually use the Tartaros armor as Tartaros armor for that much needed +1" move.

I have plenty of axes and combi-weapons for the CSM that fits either, so that's not an issue.

So does anyone here actually play sisters? I assume the answer is no because you could just buy two cheaper armies. I'd just save up, but since everything is metal, it just sound like an expensive hassle (and there is always a rumor that plastic Sisters are "coming soon").

Need more big boobed eldar I can abuse.

What is this from ?

You don't have to field them all at once you know.

Is pic related with heavy 40 for 160 points actually good or just meme tier ?

I've got twenty kasrkin though and still want to buy more scions.

I for one welcome the prospect of the Orks being the galaxy's white blood cells and deciding to purge Chaos and the Tyranids and then reverting back to chaotic fight-happy hooligans.

Been playing them for 10 years and currently have over 2500 points of pure sisters. However, I feel stretched for special weapons for the first time in a long while.

They've had a few scuffles
Dalyth Prime I think included

Maybe the Girlyman and kin are merely embodying the exotic tastes the Emperor had?

>Heavy 40

I recognize many of those words, but I don't understand them in that particular order. You speak madness, user

>is something faster, tougher and harder to kill than tactical marines for less points than those tactical marines good

yeah its pretty good.

Its killing 4.44 marines per turn with just the BRRRT alone, its pretty damn decent.

What's a good counts-as for that dumb ammo baby? Was thinking Silver Tower tiny 25mm gryph hound with a melta bomb strapped to his collar.

>Strafing Run
>Can hover, so remain stationary to avoid -1 To Hit
>HEAVY 40
>160 points

... Why am I so erect right now ?

>Suicide bomber bird-dog

Jesus that's bleak

Me but I don't use GW stuff bar Celestine and Verydian or w/e her name is.

Have a local tournament coming up, ITC rules and all that jazz. My problem is I bought most of my models secondhand so WYSIWYG is difficult since most of my terminators don't have falchions/ neither do my strike squads.

What to do friends?

I love the torso armor of the scions, the berets & helms look dumb though. Might kit bash them. Are they cheap units to field? What are they good at?

>with just the BRRRT alone
dont you exange like, everything for the brrrt anyway ?

start cutting or run a suboptimal list

Not very good.
Lacking in mobility.

Honestly halberds and swords aren't that far behind falchions and they have their own advantages in their niche, you'd be fine running them as WYSIWYG.

I'd be more worried about your amount of psycannons.

Can you work out some mathammer for me?

x1 Machrius Vulcan. (I forgot the stats, I think it's S5 -2 2D Heavy 15 and Heavy 30 if stationary)

How many MEQ does that kill a turn? What about stationary?

Now do the same but with a Trojan Support Vehicle within 6" giving it re-rolls on all failed hits.

>heavy 40
Jesus christ that's more dice that I have in my Chessex dice box

Has forgeworld commented on the lack of Dreadnaught Drop Pods yet?

>Heavy 120 for 480 points
>bad

I use servoskulls lugging ammo myself.

I'm expecting this issue specifically to start a new Imperium civil war with Guilliman and Ultramar on one side, and the Imperium fundamentalists on the other.

Old 2nd/3rd edition player here, thinking of jumping back on the train with a new army and could use some advice

I've set a few guidelines for myself:
No marines, chaos or orks, because I played those in the past
Small specialist force, both for ease of painting and collecting and because they're more fun to me. I don't really mind if they aren't that effective this edition for whatever reason
Ideally fully armored trips aesthetic wise, because I think it looks cool and am bad at painting skin

That in mind, I'm thinking craftworld or dark eldar (full kabal in the latter case), maybe tau. I always liked the aspect warriors, but a unified kabal paint scheme would probably be easier for me to pull off.

Money isn't a huge issue, but painting is, so multiple vehicles and minimal infantry is appealing.

Thoughts? Any other factions sound like they'd be good?

Heavy bolter baby.

one of the newest BL artworks

Good, good

When will the Imperium's favored son return?

Any fundamentalists would have hard time since galaxy is fucked and Bob is ruler of Imperium.

Maybe another Primarch wakes up and doesn't like the compromises Guilliman is making.

Go be a furry somewhere else.

I have a fair few and can actually run a purgation squad so I'm not worried about special weapons, I have quite a few on my terminators too. Going to be picking up another 5 man strike squad so I have 15 for a battalion.

Any recommendations on a list? I have a friend going playing nids, another playing SM and a maybe playing Tau. The max tournament limit is 18 so I know what 5 people will be bringing.

I really want to run a Fire Raptor with 2 of these supporting it

24HB shots 12Super Assault cannon shots

80 BRRRRRRRRRRRRTs

>why doesn't GW make plastic SoB?!

Sanguinius is coming back? You know the guy who's the 2nd most worshipped being in the Imperium? Who literally has Space Christmas; The Sanguinulia, named after him?

Neat.

Veeky Forums memed me much like Veeky Forums always does. Always complaining about Tau players never painting stuff. Now in my local everyone has unpainted armies or models except the Tau players.

HAHAH wrong again Veeky Forums as usual. My awesome army is now going to get annihilated by titans around every corner and necron gauss pylon spam.

Harlequins , small elite force and have pretty cool rules and are eldar.

>What are those fliers ?
>These ? Oh they're similiar to Valkyries, but have no transport capacity and just a heavy bolter ...
>Oh, that doesn't sound too bad
>... and a gun that shoots 40 times

Cool, no one cares. Consider investing in a bullet and a handgun.

No one would follow him except for unforgiven.

Easy.

Without Trojan, moving: 2.22 (that BS5+ on move is a killer)

Without trojan, standing still: 6.67

With trojan, moving: 3.7

With trojan, not moving: 10

Lesson learned: Don't move it. 60" is enough to hit essentially anything on the table if its placed in the center of your deployment zone.

Yes, why don't they? I would snap them up in a second for autistic people like you to be placated.

never, sangy is dead dead

suit/armoured tau is low model and no skin

>be that one dual wielder fag who made a bunch of useless falchion draigowing models in 5th when everyone was all like "muh daemon hammers" or using penis compensator guts swords and polearms

HAHAHA MY TIME HAS COME

Oh I knew TG was full of shit. Why do you think I spent so much time beautifully painting a Ta'unar for the local. :)

That's very nice sweetie, now take your ritalin.

>Oh wow, bet it's expensive
>Oh no, not really. These 5 are only 800 points

4pts a bullet

10 kills per turn for 448 points? Hmmm. Dunno if it's worth it. Fun.

Why doesn't the Stormlord have the stationary buff? It's just Heavy 20 and it's the same stats bar a slightly longer range. It needs to become Heavy 40 if stationary to earn back it's points.

>plays SoB
>with third party models
>calls others autistic

World
of
Wewcraft

Lul, I also prefer the look of a grey knight a sword or halberd.

Fuck me right?

Just ordered my first box of nobz.
How fucked would I get if I made an army mostly made up of them? Don't want no tiny gits in muh wagh.

Strike squads are your bread and butter, always take max allocation of psycannons

paladins are straight up better than terminators point for point and 2 strike PAGKs are better than 1 terminator

PAGK are really god damn good at shooting

interceptors arent jump infantry so they can ride in transports, which paradoxically means you should always teleport your troop Strike Squads and put your interceptors in rhinos/razorbacks

stormravens are really good

If you have Voldus or Draigo take them.

Paladin ancient is amazing.

>contemptor with 2 punchy fists is a relic
>contemptor with 2 ranged weapons isn't

FW pls

448 is pretty expensive but it does mulch MEQs better than essentially anyone. Its also a very legitimate threat against all terminator equivalents as well.

Stormsword is amazing because you can just put heavy weapon teams on its firing deck and give it an extra 20 lascannons.

Relic rules in general are r e t a r d e d. Seriously, I hate them so much.

Thats what i did

until I realized boyz were great now and got 120 of them

>Not taking 5 of them at 2k

pleb

It's 350 for the Machrius and 98 for the Trojan (sadly you can't take it naked so you have to take the 8pt heavy bolter). As for Stormsword, yeah, it is. But I liked the stationary buff it used to get with 20 mortar teams in the back. Sadly I dunno how good mortars are now.

>I've increased the amount of guardsmen I own by more than double
>I don't even think I'll run them as conscripts

I have collected
A Storm Raven
Draigo
Voldus (put a helmet on him and cut the hammer head off and put a sword blade on it)
10 Strikes
5 Purgation
5 Interceptors
30 terminators/paladins
2 Apothecaries
1 Ancient
1 Land Raider
2 Dreadnoughts.
Have all the assassins too

I get all the stupid gimmicks with interceptors riding in transports for the 15 inch move and strikes teleporting in, as well as paladins being a better deal than terminators due to 9 more points.

My problem is I don't know how to list build effectively because I always end up focusing on one aspect, so I might spam too many paladins or too much power armor.

>TG

no effort

shooting at conscripts while stationary

17.78 wounds, 11.85 kills
13.5 points per kill

Harlequins are cool as hell but I am not confident my faded painting skill would do them justice.
Heavy suit oriented tau is certainly an option. What could I get away with less infantry with, that or transport heavy eldar?

>shooting at conscripts while stationary

Was that suppose to be at me? I'm the Machrius user guy who can't into mathammer.

Why haven't any corrupt planetary governers (not chaos corrupted, just plain old corruption) that were rich ever made their own space marine chapters that were completely devoted to them instead of the Imperium as a whole?

Would be interesting seeing a power-hungry governer ascend into ruling an entire sector, but the Imperium's hands being tied because he wasn't a heretic and was technically loyal to them.

>tfw chaos
>drop my melee contemptor out of my Dreadclaw
>other 2 contemptors shooting with their BUTCHER CANNONS
>cast warp time on melee contemptor
>charge the bastard
>charge with the claw too because fuck you sword legs
>murdertron punches
>takes wounds in return
>heals them the fuck back because murder tron

Feels good to be chaos for once.

>F-Forgeworld isn't broken guys, it's all super balanced

>Space Christmas; The Sanguinulia
I think you misspelled Fistmas.

Will Dark Imperium get a sequel book? It was better than I expected.

>30 paladins
>1 land raider
>1 storm raven
>Draigo

damn, you've nearly got a whole Draigowing right there. You could make a perfectly viable draigowing list w/ dreads in a Vanguard detachment if you wanted.

Otherwise, if you're getting another 5-10 strikes you could run them as troops and then have a decent amount of paladin/dread support in a storm raven backing you up.

>so I might spam too many paladins or too much power armor.

Don't worry as long as they have delivery mechanisms and some backup anti vehicle, its hard to go too overboard with paladins.

Its more about what kind of list you'll think is fun to play right now.

s t e e l c o n f e s s o r s

y o u r d u d e s

I'm enjoying 10 scarab occult with a lord deepstriking and shooting 46 times, hitting on 2s rerolling 1s

things tend to die...violently

The Inquisition even went after the AdMech for doing this. What do you think will happen to some noble scrub?

That sounds horrifying.
Is that where Crimson Fists get their gauntlets red ?

>FF-Forgeworld is O-OP MMOM!

>tfw the only winning list are spamming GW flyer
>tfw all 7th was dominated by wraithknight /bike/farseer/riptide that were all GW

That was adding on math to the points per bullet thing

>What could I get away with less infantry with, that or transport heavy eldar?

Not sure, I don't have an interest in Eldar so I can't advise you on that

>hitting on 2s rerolling 1s
What? Why hitting on 2s?

I suppose that's true.
40k isn't known for it's balance, is it?

I got into GK for muh terminator spam. Wouldn't mind running a paladin heavy list because they make me laugh. Better to run them in squads of 3 for spam or 5 for the special weapons? Also Apothecaries/ancients worth it if going with paladins? Can always go for the gimmick Purge Soul stuff.

You need the help of the Admech on Mars to even make marines, let alone have a continuous chapter.

think that's what the new campaign is about.

How Mortarion fucks up in stopping the Ultramaines.

That is not possible, because a Chaos Lord is not allowed to have the Thousand Sons legion keyword, and Scarab Occult ALWAYS are Thousand Sons. So actually you are a filthy cheating bastard good sir.
Thousand Sons need a Daemon Prince for that trick to work.

Prescience I assume

He presumably had someone Prescience them.

Although, why would you use it on SOTs instead of on Las Pred is beyond me.

Anyone know of any good 3rd party arms for dark angel deathwing apothecaries, and/or imperial space marine?

No, it's where Dorn enslaves mutants and forces them to make sparkly frag grenades and decorative knives for the juves of Necromunda, because even in the grim darkness of the far future kids need to have fun sometimes.

Totally. Run a vanguard detachment with draigo as HQ.

Apothecaries and an ancient are nearly mandatory with paladins.

I would try and maximize your ability to take psycannons as you'll be wanting as much shooting as you can fit.

Always take your storm raven and your land raider, preferably put a dread on your storm raven too.

Hammerhand is always absurd on paladins.

Remember that you can Gate of Infinity land raiders and dreads now.
