The Grey Knights are overspecialized at fighting daemons. This does not translate when accounting for what are literally the Emperor's Best and Brightest

But the truth is if the two fought, the only winners would be chaos, as the loss of either means humanity suffers.

Custodes, the Emps himself genetically-engineered them to be superior in every way to Space marines and they have the best weaponry available in the Imperium.

How do the custodes fare in-game stats?

Statistically superior space marines with slightly better base weapons and barely any upgrades.

Aren't Space Marines pretty much biologically inmortals?, since Custodes are Marines+5 and are supposed to have the most advanced technology in the Imperium i don't think it is impossible to them to be that old.

I would say GK, if only for the fact that every Grey Knight is by default a Psyker of at least moderate power, while Custodes are not pyskers at all.

While the Custodes may be better in a one-to-one fight of brawn, the gap is close enough so that the psychic abilities of a GK would give him a considerable advantage.

no. Inquisitors are overworked because to be an inquisitor is to be like Batman against Lovecraftian horror.

Dark Heresy was all about Inquisitors facing the sorts of shit normal human beings turn grey and wrinkled over. Rather than get permanent corruption points, they just go a little more crazy.

In that one book with inquisitor Crowl its stated that the Palace is incredibly psychically shielded. Its like a blank sized country

The idea that not a single space marine outside of the Gray Knights themselves knows about chaos and daemons is laughable, and how does one be aware of the First war for Armageddon, the eye of terror, why warp travel is dangerous etc without being aware of chaos' existence.

The emperor did all sorts of things with the Primarchs genes. Russ got canine genes and it gives the SW better senses and (before butchers nails made the WE literally insane) more aggressive than the rest, Perty had parts of his brain that felt pain removed and had enhanced problem solving abilities, Vulkan was black etc etc

In HH, a Primarch says to a blank (I forget which or when) that if they became an Astartes, they would no longer be a blank. The gene seed "fills up" their soul and gives them a Warp presence. Likely owing in part to how the Primarchs, originators of the gene seed, are partly Warp energy.

Well, in the case of the guys who fucked Cadia whose names escape me. They didn't decide to summon daemons after they fought them, they were promised by the Dark Gods that if they massacred the Cadian High Command, they wouldn't have to fight Daemons a second time and those guardsmen decided that there was literally no price they weren't willing to pay to not have to encounter daemons again.

Space Wolves, like every chapter, derive their traits from their Primarch. And Russ can beat any other Primarch in a fight, including Horus. So, saying his chapter are the best fighters makes absolutely perfect sense.

Seems like I was pretty close,now that vulkan is immortal and physically larger than horus in terminator armor does that change anything? Was magnus really that powerful? Girlyman specifically states he believes he is in the top 5 primarchs in power level (which is basically admittance he is 5th). Is that true? Who are the primarchs above him besides sanguinius and horus? Was he just talking shit?

I also used the same logic that konrad cant be above corvax because corvax beat him with each primarch. Which I believe would raise corvax to high tier alongside konrad. The compariuson then becomes kahn vs konrad and I think konrad is clearly stronger
