I'm looking forward to all the armies getting readjusted from how they are in the indexes. If there are 10 codices coming before christmas that means that most of the armies are going to see love soon and then we've got the early reevaluation and adjustment coming out the summer after. I think it will help keep the edition fresh and hopefully not leave us with too many problems that last more than a couple months each.

Definitely an improvement from ages past.

i don't. RG allows you to deliver units that can't deepstrike (Grav Centurions/Devastators come to mind) or that would have had to pay a 100 pts for a droppod. it can be literally save a couple of hundred points.

No, a Razorback is the exact same kit as the Rhino but then with an extra sprue.
So you just got the jackpot, if you're smart about assembling it you can use it as either a Rhino or Razorback each game.

Is it me, or do Raven Guard tactics seem less tailored towards actual sneaky scouts and stuff, and more towards just plopping down a bunch of Dreadnoughts or other naturally durable minis? Dreads in particular (Ironclads too) can pop Smoke, so they're effectively -2 to be hit, which also means you *really* don't want to overcharge Plasma vs them (as you have a 1 in 2 chance to overheat), and you are immune to Ork or Conscript shooting for a turn.

All the Ork Boyz say it's pretty sneaky for a Beakie.

Yup, their Chapter Tactic is enemies suffer -1 to hit them with ranged attacks from more than 12" away. Fun on Devestators, Centurions or Dreadnoughts IMO. :)
