Requesting a character for an upcoming game
>Takes place on a tropical island
>Character is human modified to be amphibious
>Gray smooth skin (like a dolphin) with white pattern
>Wearing either swimtrunks or light sharkskin leather armor
>Armed with a railgun rifle
>Brown hair parted in the middle, brown eyes
>5ft tall

migrating Hello dear drawfriends,
I would like to humbly request my character for a friend's homemade mid-low fantasy setting/system.

LOOKS:
>Young thin man with a poor posture, a kinda feminine heart-shaped face, curious eyes and a general "lovable dork" look around him
>Black hair, blue eyes, 177cm/5'10" height
>Wields a staff with a small deep blue crystal affixed to its top
>Wears a leather mid-thigh long (armour) jacket that could be reinforced with hard leather (kinda like the cyber goth garment depicted, the plates should be not too big). Alternatively, he may be wearing not too elaborate noble's clothes
>Further visible equipment could contain a plain sword, a crossbow or a hand crossbow.

——————————————
STORY/PERSONALITY (in case you are interested in stuff like this
>third son of a minor but well settled noble
>showed no aptitude for military, but was instead always interested in legends and history and so he went out to the world to collect legends of peoples elsewhere and got swept up in the story.
>recently discovered how to do magic and embraces it enthusiastically, even if he is capable of only few tricks yet. >huge nerd and somewhat naive, even if his study of history and his experiences cause him to mature.

If you want to know more for some reason, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you very much in advance for considering my request.

[reference: the armour pics are from the Exalted rulebooks]

Reposting again.

I'd like to put in a request for a character that's similar to this (young boy using a sword), but instead of a confident or cheeky grin, his expression is more of of teary-eyed "oh god what am I doing I have no idea what I'm doing with this sword" expression.

Kind of similar to this: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/35/0e/da/350eda021374e449c3376cdea5d75409.gif

Requesting my Fallout RPG character, an ex-BoS Scribe who took to wandering the Wasteland after losing his Chapter and becoming disillusioned with the Brotherhood.

He's looks scruffy but relatively well-kept, with tanned skin, dark brown hair, and a heavy five o' clock shadow. He also has an old scar on his forehead, above his right eye and cutting through his eyebrow over towards his temple (Unlike Snake, however, he's didn't lose the eye).

His outfit should look mostly like the NCR Ranger Armor in B, except with a completely uncovered head, and the coat made from a set of tattered Brotherhood Scribe Robes (C).

And finally, his weapon is a Ballistic Fist (D) built into his right gauntlet, with a small revolver-style cylinder, chambered with shotgun shells.

Thanks!

Migrating.

Requesting the two characters in the reference done in the style of the queen card, with the suit replaced with snowflakes with the hooded one pointing down.

Thank you if you pick this up.

Repostan once more.

I started playing a game called Dominions 4 a few days ago and I'm in love with a certain faction. In it, they have a very heavily armored elite unit called Blindfighters, which I'd like to see drawn up in 'high detail'. It doesn't actually have to be super detailed, but larger and maybe in an action pose would be really cool. Anyway, this is their description:

In the deep caverns of Agartha, sight is of little use. Most Agarthans have developed partial darkvision, but some infants are born blind. They are considered blessed by the Lord and given rigorous martial and mental training in the temples of basalt and marble. Blindfighters orient themselves by supernatural means and can only be led by Blindlords or mages. Blindfighters don heavy plate armor and carry kite shields with disturbing eyes painted on the surface.

Migrating from I want to request one of the main antagonists of our campaign. The reason he's disappointed is because his only son didn't pick his side when he gave him the chance before starting the boss fight against his body double(which we only found out was a doppleganger after said son was having an emotional breakdown thinking he had actually killed his father). Then he tried dropping the entire fort on us before the wizard evac'd us out of there.

Father of the year, everyone.

Also, I forgot to mention he doesn't wear a mask or the hood, just the armor and cape. And the swords aren't really that ornated, just that the one on the left is a longsword and the one in the right hand is a bastard sword.

Requesting a dark fantasy female jester-themed ‘knight’. She's got the hooded coat of picture 2 with that cloth design of picture 1 (the loose strip bottom and jester ball strips at the top). She has a metal helm that’s reminiscent of the face of picture 3, the reason for always wearing it is due to a disfiguring incident that left her face unbearable to look at. Underneath her coat is knight armor, pretty much like the visible pieces of armor picture 4 is wearing. She only carries a single throwing dagger as she has the ability called "Mirror" that copies her dagger numerous times.

...

I would like to request a logo/sign for my fantasy detective's, fantasy detective agency.

Name: Investigation Expertise Detective Agency

Tagline: "The clue is in the eye of the beholder"

you're welcome to think of improvements to the tagline or something like that.

Migrating from many other threads:
I'm Requesting this guy over here, he's enterely made of nanomachines, so he can take any shape and/or looks according to his mass, but he usually appears like this.

The body, clothes and pose of the elf guy. The crystals are not present.
The face and hair of the guy on the top right.
With his left hand he's not casting a thunder spell, but he's instead using the nanomachines of said hand to craft a figure similar to the lady used as reference (scaled down, of course).
He's looking as said figure with the same expression of elf-guy.
For any doubts, I'm here and thank you in advance.

Hey, OR of the tiefling here
(Uploading the image here)
That's pretty awesome, But Can I ask if you have a seperate layer with just the tiefling on it?

Goblin anchor

awesome work to the guy who edited this for me, if at all possible can i have the hair a bit more on the orange side? thanks again!

Requesting some art for my character: The guy at left is a reference for his hair, eyes, and current outfit, but he should be posed like the guy on the right--preferably with a cocky expression like him as well--with his coat open to display armor like that shown in the center.

Not the OR of the piece. But here ya go... But my OC is actually being used in that request... Well the design that is haha. I don't mind lol.

Didn't ask about your "oc".

Anchor. Do I post the request text too? Probably not.

Requesting a illustration of Dr. Thunder (named after a empty can of discount soda found floating in a trash patch), a character in a post apocalyptic Waterworld styled game. A pure breed human 6ft male, 18 yrs old surfer boy archetype, shaggy blonde hair, shark tooth necklace, steel harpoon, conch shell on slung over shoulder on a rope, wearing short shorts, barefoot. Pose could be blowing a conch shell with one hand or two.

Another request, again with my totally censored reference image!

I'd love to see Drejan trying to convince Harlow to drink a Health Potion, and him sulkily not wanting to.

Harlow is a human fighter, who's missing his right eye and a couple of fingers on his right hand. He distrusts magic completely, and doesn't want anything to do with it. Grey hair and a big grey beard.

Drejan is a drow sorceress/ranger type, with Alchemy skills to brew her own potions. She lost her left hand at one time and had a new one grafted on by a transmuter. She's always trying to get Harlow to use potions, and he's always trying to make her wear a helmet into battle. It's a constant bickering between them.

Respectfully requesting my high-elf wizard with a big straw sunhat that doubles in the style of a typical wizard/witches hat while she takes care of her flowers. Her magic revolves around nature and flora and spends her time growing plants that she collects. Thank you so much if you take up the request!

Requesting a Dark Angel Successor Chapter Master in greenwich-inspired tartaros terminator armor.

For the body the Grand Master is wearing Tartaros Terminator armor, standard, without any special features to the armor besides a different helmet in pic 2, with vertical vents and reinforcement on the crown.

What sets the armor apart from the rest of the Chapter is greenwich style embossment (3) covering the entire armor. The main surface of the armor is a blued-black color with thick stripes of intricate gold geometric ornamentation.

For equipment he wields a master-crafted power sword in the right hand, a combi-plasma boltgun in the left, and has an iron halo installed on top of his terminator plate.

Requesting a design of my new Rogue character, Jacobi. These are his basic design elements.
1 - General build
2 - Face, beard and facepaint
3 - Hairstyle
4 - Gear and Armour, with the knives worn like that on the abdomen
5 - Weapons. Jacobi uses trench knives, but carries a larger Messer on his belt just in case
6 - Scar. Jacobi has a scar on his right cheek like this, close to a Glasgow Smile or Chelsea Grin, going upward towards his eye/temple area

As for other details, he's a street urchin from Calimport in Forgotten Realms. He's got green eyes and blonde hair, and he's fairly tanned from the sun. He's dirty, smelly and overall not a nice person.

Thanks in advance to anyone who would like to draw him!

Migrating request.

Requesting a mad psychiatrist/inventor fae skeleton that looks like pic related. He should be dressed in a black suit, with something like a white lab coat over it, and a mechanical hat like that of Mole from Disney's Atlantis movie. He has several pockets filled with glowing test tubes, medical tools and fae plants.

He should be doing SCIENCE! with an hesitant assistant/guinea pig, with his homunculi "nephews" helping him and going "he's so cool, I wanna be just like him when I grow up!". His "nephews" look like smaller versions of him, but with transparent skin and weird number of eyes, sorta like Nurglings from Warhammer 40000.

You can draw just the fae skeleton himself if you prefer.

Anchoring.

Requesting a warlock none-to-subtly based upon Bloodborne.

He carries a large slug-type creature smushed into a jar which is his warlock Patron, entirely unaware of the character himself.

He's a highly inquisitive and investigative type, and carries no weapons, relying instead on eldritch powers to fight with. He has a short, neatly trimmed beard, with dark brown hair and green eyes. If drawn with the helmet-mask on, it has a snail motif about it.

Feel free to try out whatever sort of pose you'd like for him, or if you want an idea he might be peering into the jar, studying the slug-thing.

Kindly requesting my assassin, pictured to the right, styled like this old illustration on the left, except the snake is roughly her size.

She went gathering giant snakes for venoms mid-game recently and just bash-n-tuck'd those suckers into her bag. Stumbling upon this illustration just made me think of that, so it'd tickle me to have one of her.

Requesting triumphant, glorious heavily armored human knight riding into battle against his foes atop a mighty Flail Snail! With eyes stalks and barding (armor). Many thanks to you!

Requesting a drawing of a young red headed tiefling girl, probably between 10-13, with red eyes and goat legs. I'll be on and off all day if there's any questions.

Quote the OP not the Anchor. The Anchor is for if you have pending WIPs.

Oh, sorry.

Requesting a drawing of my Half-Elf Inquisitive Rogue/Hexblade Warlock.

He is a detective, very serious, intimidating, and shows no fear.

He also uses a sentient rapier that has a Spanish accent and is usually cracking jokes or wisecracks. Have fun with it

Source on the far right pic?

again lol?

I'll have you know I am not asking for a source again, thank you very much,

So I'm looking for someone to draw me a character from my custom 5e race the Vennox, a race of desert dwelling anthro fennec fox traders, Her name is Rook and she's a ranger, number 1 on the ref image is kind of what I want her armor to look like, just not with the knives sticking off the hip, and boots (wtf are those even). Number 2 is a general idea of their body shape (closest I could get) they tend to be around 3ft tall, and their ears are anywhere from 6 inches to a foot long themselves. And number 3 is Rook's main weapon, a longbow. Rook herself is a mostly a white fur color with accents of a creamy red, like ontop of her head for her "hair" or something, think mae from night in the woods. And finally her eyes are a light green. Anything else you can think up is fine by me, thanks in advance!

Hello everybody! May I ask for a recoloring of this picture?

Could somebody make his eyes silver or grey? Many thanks!

Requesting my multi-classed human sorcerer wizard painting a bunch of magical things into reality.

He's referring to how it was requested and posted just a thread or two ago, go back through the links to find it

Requesting a lonely Krieg soldier celebrating his birthday all alone with a cake and a bottle of jagermeister.

I'll do it if you imgur me the pic on the right.

It's got to be incredibly disheartening to have people ask for your character art 3 threads in a row and not have any deliveries to show for it.

I'd like to request a followup to this image, with the knight prone on the ground, being headpat by all four kittens. One of which is sitting on his back (the little shit riding his helmet, naturally).

Migrating from previous thread
This guy is an Orcish Investigator, based mostly on the Image #1 though his hair and beard are based off of image #3, though his hair and beard are black. On a similar note, his eyes are a dark red. His build proper is very much like Image #4.
As for clothes, he wears something very close to image #1, but he wears a poncho that is similar in style and color to image #2.
He is always smoking a dark cigar, and he has a bandolier with cigars instead of bullets.
He is always equipped with his flamberge greatsword and has a scabbard for it on his back.
He is a rather outgoing, charismatic, and handsome orc, and would probably be smiling.
Thank you in advance!

...

out of curiosity, why did you delete the big version? It seems to me that the requestor could resize it down to whatever he likes it it starts off large.

You're probably right, my instinct is 'post at a decent resolution', high res images trigger /ic/ so I just got used to it that way.
It generally just looks cleaner low res anyway. I never liked clicking an image and it blowing up to my full screen personally, but if the OR wants the higher res one I can repost it.

Maybe I'm weird, but I personally always like the large versions because they let me resize them for whatever. let idiots be triggered; nothing stops them from fixing their issues personally.

Either way, it looks really good.

Thanks my dude, and don't worry i downloaded both. And if you're up for it i have another request.

Depends on the request but let's hear it!

I need a Puffin Harpy(M).

Not as much in my wheelhouse I'm afraid!

Oh okay, if i'm not being to needy or to much of an ass, could i get a Krieger and his battle buddy playing fetch with an arm?

Someone should give Frakenfran some colors.

Howdy! I'm requesting a piece of character art for a gunslinger I'm going to playing in a campaign based off of the world of Kill Six Billion Demons.

I've decided to play a devilish rifle-wielding gunslinger, and was hoping one of the generous dudes here could pull together the references in my image to make something cool! If one of you takes this up, feel free to put some spin on it. K6BD is a mad mashup of aesthetics and styles, and I tried to get a bit of that with the references I've pulled together; but if you have a funny idea that you think would look cool, then be my guest!

here ya go

Thank you to the anonymous drawfag that doodled this for me.

is your character male or female?

Requesting a barbarous looking man wearing a bronze Phrygian/Thracian helmet who is currently in Hell, throwing javelins at imps who flying overhead.

His physique and outfit/armour are a blend of the two images on the left and he's got a bunch of spare javelins somewhere on his person, maybe a quiver or maybe he's just holding them.

The javelins are enchanted and the head of each javelin is emitting small bolts of electricity.

Thanks!

Attempting one last migrate. Cheers!
And no bad feelings if it doesn't get taken. The drawfriends have been doing some damn good work and it's fun seeing what gets done.

Working on the following request from a week and a bit ago

>Requesting a half-elf sorcerer.
>He looks like a painter with white-blonde messy hair, and pale skin.
>He carries an easel on his back, and he uses his brush to "paint" magic in the air.

Procrastinated and then got busy but I should have a it finished soon.

I tried.
My bad.

Requesting Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple as small chibi creatures like the fellow on the bottom of the pic.
Both characters' design don't have to match the ones I'm using as references. It just has to be a Poirot and Marple.

Many thanks in advanced.

I need a pompous female wizard. Like a young, pretty version of this dude, maybe Asian but not super caught up on that, with long curly black hair that falls down over her chest instead of a beard..

blueboard friendly anchor.

Requesting, if possible, a drawing of an alien.

It's an androgynous bald humanoid, average build, with light tan skin with green crystal growths dotted over it and tribal face and body paint, wearing a tank top, cargo pants, heavy work boots and a trucker cap with "I KNOW, I ROCK" printed on it.

Background: it's part of a species of aliens, the Telsek, I am putting into a sci fi campaign. They're a bit like rockman Squats, so dwarfy attitudes about grudges, traditions etc and clan based culture (their body paint marks their clan allegiance).

Hello, here's a WIP. If there's anything different you want, now's the time to ask for it. (Aside from, you know, finishing and cleaning up the picture, since that's already happening.) Hope you enjoy!

Reposting: Requesting these troopers as imperial guardsmen and one of them courting an eldar howling banshee, but is utterly shocked to realize its a guy.

The "2nd" soldier in the image would be the guy who is courting the banshee and is holding a bunch of flowers to give. But he is horrified or shocked when he sees the banshee is a guy.

The banshee being hit on would non-chalantly tell the "2nd" soldier he is a guy as he took off his helmet.

The "4th" soldier in the far right would be laughing out loud at the expense of the 2nd soldier, he'd be holding onto his belly as he's laughing.

The "1st" soldier would be doing the clenched-fists-on-his-hips posture as he's simply looking on the hilarity.

And the "3rd" soldier would just also be looking on with crossed arms.

This is a really dumb request and I'm sorry, but could I get a doodle of my cleric just enjoying a nice slice of blueberry pie? Would be cute if she had like a piece on her cheek, but she's just way too into the pie to notice. Thanks drawpals :)

>Realize how much you admire artists and the technical skill involved, and that you would love to do that.
>Realize you're almost 20, you haven't drawn a day in your life, and if you haven't started until now, you're basically already screwed- you'll be in your thirties by the time you're as good as a nineteen year old who's always drawn.

Why does it seem like everyone who's anyone found their passion when they were 6 years old. This is such bullshit. Reality once again shits in my bed.

Man, nothing stops you from becoming an artist at 20. The difference is that while a six-year-old that starts sketching will grok to their talent and foibles naturally over time, an adult has the ability to grasp where they're flopping and accept criticism.

The real trick, as always, is practice. Practice, and eventually you'll be good, no matter when you start.

I'm 32, and I used to draw. I used to write, too. I had a novel in the works. Then I got kicked out of my house. All of my work, my paintings, my sketches, my notebooks of writing, all got destroyed in my trunk in the dampness heat of summer until all that remained of my creative dreams were mildewed pages stuck together like onion layers.

I gave up on art. I regret it, now.

Oh, don't tell me that- that runs completely counter to my defeatist narrative where I immediately prophesize failure so that I never have to try in the first place.

I want to believe that it's never too late, but I've never found a good example of that actually holding true, in terms of any master of their field having found that inner drive late in life. The truth is that often it is too late to do anything of any worth. If you weren't born with that drive, you've missed out and it's too late for you.

Mozart was a child when he did his most adored work.
Picasso mastered art in terms of technical proficiency and recreation of reality by the time he was 12.
George was 26 when he LEFT The Beatles.
The Sound of Silence was the fifth song Paul Simon had ever wrote.
The only reason we know Steven Hawking is because of theories he developed in his late teens and early twenties.

Much to the chagrine of motivational speakers everywhere, it is probably too late for you to do anything worthwhile.

>implying he wants to do something worthwhile
It sounds like user just wants to be able to draw cheesecake adventurer titties, not become a historical figure. He'll make it if he invests some time.

Actually, it's really not that hard to find examples.

inc.com/bill-murphy-jr/14-inspiring-people-who-found-crazy-success-later-in-life.html

and Morgan Freeman didn't make his break as an actor until he was in his 50s
Don't cherry pick

As the actual user I can confirm: this, basically.

I mean, I sure wouldn't mind doing a comic that inspires some kid the way my favorites inspired me, but I have no delusions of being remembered for generations or any of that crap. I'd be relatively satisfied going into a drawthread and someone being excited that I chose to draw their thing.

Your best bet is to look up drawing tutorials, then. They'll give you a basis to work off of that you can push into the future and eventually your own style.

I had that realization of passion a couple months ago, and I actually bought a couple books from the local used books store that seemed to come highly recommended from folks on the internet. But they've just sat on the shelf and collected dust, which doesn't feel very good when my brain is already telling me I've wasted too much time.

It's difficult to motivate to do anything productive after a day of working a manual labor job and taking classes. I just want to lay down, and knowing the hard road of practice ahead of me, it's not particularly inviting in contrast to a bed and a podcast.

But I digress. I apologize if I turned the thread into a me-fest, or attracted parade-rainers to the thread. That wasn't my intention. I only meant to vent. Maybe that was selfish.

This thread is for artists to practice in; if that means getting someone to start practicing, that's fine too.

The problem that I have with this sort of thing is one of momentum. I'm a writer rather than an artist, but it always happens that I do my most writing when I set aside a time where I all but command myself to start; doesn't matter what I'm writing, as long as I'm writing, I can get ideas flowing, and I can get to work on what I want to do.

Form it into a habit; do this every night at a certain time. Doesn't matter what you're drawing so long as you are. If you need an idea of what you need to draw, choose a character; if you can't choose one, make a table of them and, in classic Veeky Forums fashion, roll a die to choose one. you don't have to show anybody these early attempts, so long as you keep working on them; it might be helpful to have someone talk to you about where you can improve, as long as you trust them to be a good critic.

Form the habit, do the drawings, and actual skill will follow as you practice.

I'd like to put in a request for a lamia/naga/snakeman character I tend to run in most games it's appropriate for.
Specific details of what bit means what is in the reference, but I'll put down basic detail here anyhow.
Comes from tropical island of snake people, hence the darker skin. Snake features beside the lower body are slit pupils and longer-than-average, somewhat-split tongue. Cheerful and laid-back, impeccably polite. No tragic backstory of which to speak. Hisses his 's' sounds, which gets annoying to type.
This version is around 17/18, maturity equivalent to human of similar age.

Really sorry for awful formatting and stuff. I've never put together a non-text reference before.
