How would you go about creating a class or character that's centered around devouring its enemies?

In addition, post character art and ideas for characters that do so.

First I'm going to need a written document from your GM that they have allowed you to insert your disgusting fetish into their game.

here you go

Trips of "This Guy" gm. We proceed.

Pathfinder has a 3pp supplement called Gonzo2. Basically all about making whacky non setting specific classes.

One classis called Ungermaw. Which is all about becoming humanoid Kirby. Is actually really good Idea at mage killing and single target lock down.

Are you devouring enemies whole, or tearing them to bits as you go about it?

If you're tearing them to bits, add all sorts of single target shit that does big damage and ha a chance to cripple the enemies in some way, so you're wearing them down into a helpless mass of half-eaten flesh. Make it violent, make it brutal.

If it were based around devouring enemies whole? Honestly, I'd probably just go kirby-style. You get limited abilities based on the kind of enemies you eat, or their material, or you can spit them up. Maybe you can only eat them when they're weakened heavily to balance it out, or as a sneak attack sort of deal.

Must defeat enemy before devouring their heart (or other symbolically appropriate body part). For each enemy devoured, gain a benefit from a list loosely based on monster type, with maybe a few more special boons for notable monsters. Keep only from the last X creatures devoured, so you have to be picky about who you devour for power. Hold on to a longer set of benefits as you level up. Maybe have an option to eat smaller foes for health instead of gaining a long-term boon.

Maybe start at ripping and tearing, and then graduate to swallowing whole?

Been there, done that.

>Ungermaw

That might be a good idea too, actually. Some sort of heavy violence class with a (brutal) powerup on kills.

I'd also suggest that, possibly, the character has to hide this method of fighting in civilized places like cities. Unless it's a world where there's something like the worgen, and it's totally cool for someone to fight by monstrous bite attacks, I don't think someone fighting back muggers by devouring them should play well.

Could work.

>Ungermaw

Google "Ozodrin Homebrew"

>no kirby in the first three replies

What gives, Veeky Forums?

Also consider The Thing, Pacman, and Math Muncher.

...

Kirby is not a character, it's a force of nature where hope and dreams gather to die.

Either a demonspawn taking advantage of their demonic nature.

or a beast gestated in the bottom of a wizard's tower that got loose and was taught manners.

I think Veeky Forums actually came up with vore class some time ago.

Just find it, refluff it so it wouldn't be fetishistic and done.

pretty much that. just minus the manners.

I hate it so much, but I need that blue magic.

What about a class that gets powerups from eating food?

that's called living.

...

...

I herp'd so hard I derp'd.

Eating enemies is tied to a skill, which can't be used for (amount of time) after successfully consuming an enemy.

Let's just say digesting is automatic success, lest your PC gets knifed from the inside out.
Eating somebody gives your character a buff for a period of time, based on what they were/their stats.

Strengths: Basically reduces a mob by 1
Weaknesses: Large enemies,

Kirby or Cho'Gath?

Why not both?

The unsatisfactory mechanical tension of being expected to feed at every opportunity yet giving up favored skills when feeding?

Though, actually, serious reply - I'd do it like the Game Boy Final Fantasy games. Stat out 15 or 20 monster categories x 5 stops through your game's eventual HD range, create an "x + y = z" logic of some sort (or steal/adapt theirs!), the character sacrifices access to any equipment in favor of being able to transform into a fully-rested other monster in an initially unknown but reproduceable pattern.

Before or after cooking them?

This one, presumably. It's foor DnD 5th edition, and is fairly complete with multiple different specialisations.

There's also the all-devouring vore-loli somebody made up in case you want to play as meme version of Kanna.

>Just find it, refluff it so it wouldn't be fetishistic and done.
That'd be kind of hard to do, since the whole class was built around swallowing enemies whole, so to remove the fetish you'd have to remove 90% of the class features.

not really. So long as you don't describe anything the class does with sexual intent then you don't have a fetishistic class.

Conversely, you can have a perfectly normal unarmed strike paladin build fluffed to be smiting evil with your dick.
