Top Gear actually has a woman racing driver as one of their official friends of the show.
She grew up literally inside the Nürburgring, and any potential woman driver jokes are overtaken by her being very good (for quite a while she was the one driving the "ring taxi", which shows you how to go round the track, which is how she met Clarkson), and the fact that german jokes are all right there.
When germany got their own version of top gear, she was one of the hosts. She then became one of nuTop Gear's presenters when the show was restructured.

Unfortunately yes. It's some American driver. His shtick is saying everything that's not American is communist.
It's not they're fault that they can't have the stig but it just suck. Overall the shows good but the American gag and the celebrity one gets old pretty quickly.
