Merfolk were also a thing, you could have a reclusive one that's in her own little private cove (also probably a druid) that they can swap notes with. Introduce cute waifu's!!!! they're the best!

I can have him find the island for his plot, and the other PCs can develop an adjoining island for their base.

This way, one PC has his story, and the other PCs can start their privateering on the Sea of Fallen Stars.

It's the easiest campaign trait to tie into your character and has the largest mechanical bonus.

I find it funny how they're all effectively competing for the same slot, though - I strongly doubt the DM will go for a full party of people adopted by Baine, this problem being far more pronounced with that trait than with literally any other one, which are more inter-compatible.
Picking Baine trait effectively nukes your chances of getting in.

The campaign is going to be a shit show. AP with 6 players and a level 3 start is already janky enough. But it allows PoW which has tons of hardness ignoring stuff at level 2 maneuvers. Six players is just too many, why do DM's do this.

Good DM should be able to fit all players in

6 players is actually very manageable, but it requires bit more passive players
one of our games has 6 players and since most of them enjoy playing bit more passively, the DM can manage it easily

The DM has no responsibility towards those players who don't get in.
It's in the DM's interest to choose the apps which works best together so people are more likely to have fun.
Thus, Bainefags are likely to get rekt as their apps get silly if taken together.

Avowed as well, who can just ignore hardness from level 1.

This is the Soulforger pre-release playtest. Pre-release because it looks like shit due to me being too lazy to do proper formatting and clean everything up all fancy like. At some point I'll fix it to look better no promises are made but for now, here's everything that actually matters about the class.

Missing: good design, art, some fluff about why stealing people's souls and such is evil and may not let you stay in the good graces of most patron deities, etc.
Present: Everything else, including enough Forged Souls to make a small armory out of, and 6 Aspects to provide some needed diversity to the inevitable all-Soulforger party.

Hey, I've been playing Pathfinder for a while now but normally don't come to /pgg///pfg/, and I want to ask, how do you guys feel about PCGen?

My group's been using it for character sheets due to our collective inability to keep papers in good shape between our sessions, which are a long time between each, and it seems to make it easier for us to see the points of and build classes we're not used to.

Personally, I don't like automated sheets. I don't like having to search for a place to put every odd bonus I have. I would rather just have space to write in, like the Myth-Weaver's sheets.

Related: I do use roll20 macros, but like some people can get really retarded with it. A DM I played with would literally make variables for every single pathfinder skill for every single PC. It was meant to save time later, but the macros didn't even work!

So, my friend flaked out on me. Again. My DM gave us a small tease of what we'd be fighting. Nothing too complicated, just a powerful ghost. They even gave us the stats for it.

Cue my friend whining and saying that it's 'too hard'. Should I make him not my friend? He's done this and flaked a LOT. He complains a lot about Intrigue, AKA anything that isn't combat.

So tell me, /pgg/. I have an issue, and it's something I've always wanted to do, and it makes sense in the context of the game, but how do I make it happen?

Im playing a Wizard, and her entire focus is studying, learning, and mastering magic. We're not too high level, but it's looking like the only way we're going to be able to ring the final boss's bell is by stripping all of the magic from the world. This is something my character cannot stand. She knows it's necessary, but she just can't reconcile a world in which everything she knows becomes moot.

I want her last hurrah to be a momentous, cathartic apotheosis of her craft. I'm working on scrimping and saving the money for it, but before the last battle we have to strip magic from the world.

So I'm thinking the last thing she does will be a massive, momentous wish. As in simultaneously casting enough scrolls of Wish that all of the other party members get +5 inherent to all of their stats and a massive layer of buffs and magical protections going into the final fight. (the game is hella animu, so I doubt the DM will strip those bonuses.)

But I want it to kill her. Thematically it just makes me happy to think that her last act, as the most studied mage in the world, is to perform an Arch Spell, and then fade away along with the age of magic.

How do I do this?

Yeah. If you look at the Aegis class it states that with the final tier of the extra-arms customization (Which gives you a second set of fully functional arms) that you could wield two two-handed weapons. Bows are always two handed weapons and no other stipulations are given, so yes in that context and thus presumably others. Its worth noting that most sources of extra-limbs specifically don't grant extra attacks so check whatever ability you're using to get them.

My DM is a little animu but he's kind of on the spot when it comes to rules. I could MAYBE make a 9th level spell that accomplishes such a feat, so long as the material components are equivalent to the casting of 5x6x5, or 125 wishes. Even if I just make it so the other 5 only get +5 to their two relevant stats, it becomes 2x5x5, or 50x25000, so... 1.25million GP.

That's a lot of saving up.

Armored Kilt is from PC which is 3pp splat and thus requires GM fiat

Wearing an Armored kilt with ANY Light armor makes it medium. So regardless of whether the say... Mithril Breastplate was light or not, sticking an armored kilt on it, RAW makes it Medium. It's not a weight or manueverability thing, sticking the heavy kilt on INSTANTLY makes whatever armor you're already wearing medium, Mithril or not.

yep. but it doesn't stack with itself, so it really either becomes 'Make the save and shut it out' or, 'You're confused for 1d6 rounds. and take 1d6 wis damage per round.'
You're already affected if you fail the save, and further applications don't continue or abet the duration.

What do you do if you're the DM and your party has just been TPK'd, or is about to be? Do you fudge the die slightly? Do you make up a reason for one or two of them to be resurrected? Do you roll new characters?

Depends on the context.

My group is very roleplay heavy, so I tend to DM with death being a MAJOR setback, as opposed to a game-ender. There's a threat of losing all the shit you've worked for up to that point, but not the character.

In my Dark Heresy game though, all bets are fucking off.
