It's like a nerve pulse, except Inferno barely pushed us past the depolarization threshold and then the announcement that we're staying in 7E crashed us WAY past the normal resting potential. Angelus is going to have to be good, given we've lost so many posters that we basically have no myelin sheath to speed things up anymore.
Half the chill people and even some of the shitposters are gone. DGanon is no longer generating Death Guard every ten minutes by quantum entanglement, Treides is no longer fucking around with his Stormwhale plans, Alacran and Scananon are both gone.

Also, Archbuffer Satarael should have a Kastellan Repulsor Field. That'd be a proppa invuln.

Make it a supercharged one, Aegis Protocols in the 8e style up at all times so it's 4++ reflect on 5 and 6. He's an Archmagos, it wouldn't be too out of place for him to have better defences than some random bloops, especially with his obsession with immortality.

My army ruleswise IS Traitor Reductor, but I think they will just get their usual portion of the DarkMech stuff along with most everyone else, not specialist stuff. Perhaps the Reductor could grab themselves a specialist suite of esoteric weapons, since so far they don't actually seem to have that much in the way of unique toys aside from Lightning Guns, Phosphex and Irrad, which aren't really unique to them. Some biological weapons or something, or maybe a more industrial version of the IED Decima put together.

Hearing about 8th just depresses the hell out of me, and I don't want to read about 8th and HH in the same thread.

I'd rather play 28mm using Epic Armageddon rules than use 8th. The game would be faster than 8th, better balanced than 8th, but also more detailed as well.

Finished most of the work on these three Guardians. Just need to do the bases and fix some minor things. While they obviously wield melta-type weapons I don't plan on using them as pyritite spears, which suck balls, but rather as the slightly more reasonable andrasite spears. They'll join another three custodes, those with regular guardian spears, in a Coronus.
And yes, I've seen that I forgot to cover the ejection port on the leftmost gun. It bugs me, but I see no way to do that without having to repaint the entire body of the spear.

That color distribution on the cataphractii is lovely, but I'd recommend some washes, at the very leas on the weapons, and maybe a hightlight.
Oh, and power weapon colors on the lighting claws, but that's realy up for debate.

Put a tiny amount of gs in there and paint over it a few times with whatever metal colour you did? Shouldn't be that hard. Alternatively just leave it how it is, not many people would notice and less would care.

Well, Loyalist Word Bearers are not legal. AFAIK they're the only entire army restricted like that, since Inferno didn't bother to slap that Loyalist tag on all the Custodes and SoS. Traitor Valdor is therefore absolutely a thing.

Sniper vets death dealers is nast with combi weapons.

I run my reavers in two ways and both as faster vets. Jump packs, volkite chargers, death dealers, chain axes and merciless fighters means It's boils down to a ton of strength 5 attacks in shooting and assault that connect. They usually hunt thallax/vorax/usarax/scyllax admech super easily or I point them at butchering vanilla tacticals or support infantry which they do with near impunity.

I'll usually run my master of signals with them since master of signals can take a jump pack, volkite charger, and a power axe. He usually hangs with them at first (even more strength 5 attacks) and then they break off while he drops some orbital bombardment or jumps around supporting other squads with cognis signing.

The other is jump packs and combi weapons and banestrike. They use their combi plasma or combi meltas to delete terminators or other high value targets and then use the banestrike with death dealers to delete already slightly attrited infantry squads. Using the jump packs to dictate the engagement.

Loyalist Thousand Sons that weren't on Prospero are possible and Magnus can legally be fielded in a loyalist list :^)

I am torn between the Imperial Fists and the Night Lords. Been playing Black Templars since 2004 so I am called by the autist, but I liked the Night Lords trilogy and they've really grown on me.

Erebus's armour is covered in scripture, is just that the colour red doesn't show it too well. On the other hand,kor phaeron has some colchisian symbols but I think about him less devoted to chaos, just hungry from power. Also, the scripture that the word bearers portray on their armour is from Lorgar's book. I don't think it's very fluffy that his father and teacher would bear it on his armour.
