SHARK STRIKE

SON OF A FUCKING BITCH, SPOILER THAT SHIT.

What's your army besides the storm ravens

Epic conversation.

Do you mind if I take a screen cap my friends?

does the novel mega have audiobooks?

YOUR ASPECT A SHIT

Who /space wolves/ here?

Do you people plan out what you buy next for your army or do you just buy them in a whim?

THIS THREAD IS CLAIMED FOR THE SHADE LORD!

With all the waiting on re stocking I just buy what I can while it's available. Then build around all that.

>just realised that Rockfist is the same base S as Mephiston

Welp. There goes a unique thing about Mephiston. The whole point was he was above Astartes; at a price. Yet he has no advantage in pysker powers or strength over all Astartes. Shame, really.

this is why no one likes the space yiffs, now fuck off back to /b/ where you belong

>Female Furry Fuck
>Scornful Son of Dorn in back

Most of the time I have planned out what I am going to buy next, but I will also add in a few things at random.

Tomorrow I am stopping by the FLGS to pick up another start collecting box, but I also fully plan to buy something on impulse for the army as well.

A little of column A, a little of column B. I bought some Sentinels on a whim cause I like the look and have used them in some games. I bought a Knight cause I needed something big and imposing to be a meatshield for my mainly Mono-Scion Army.

Sometimes impulse purchases happen.

Go back to bed Magnus.

I had a plan but since my shops are picked clean I have been either having to compromise or wait out till they are restocked. I just need one more carnifex or three lictors.

I usually increase my army by increments of 250, so I plan around that and usually plan around what kind of army I want to run and what units are good choices. Previously formations dictated how to build armies but with them gone it's a lot more free choice now.

>In Darkness Dwells

mad DustWeenies mad that Space Wolves are great, social, tall and successful.

I just played against a fucking retard tau that had no idea about making a list. He equipped 3 xv8 suits with 3 Pulse blastcannon (kv128 stormsurge weapon) and we had to waste 1 fucking hour teaching him how to equip a suit.

He also tried to use both burst cannon and fusion blaster on his stealth suits. Is it really that hard to fucking read the index and build a list?

Who pill painting here?

>tranny has a Z in "her" "name"

>space wolves
>social tall successful
pick one
kek

No you back to your decrepit, primitive, death world *crys black ink*, YOUR SAGAS WILL NEVER MATCH WHAT YOU BURNT THAT DAY

Have any of you had experience running a xenos-focused narrative campaign that also makes some sort of sense lore-wise?

We've got some new girl-gamers in the house and they have expressed interest in playing a narrative campaign in the near future.

The current konor summer campaign thing is basically imperium vs chaos focused, so I want our campaign to be focused on xenos. Currently planning on doing an escalation-league type thing, starting at 500 pts and going up 250 every week for as long as its well received.

3/4 of the women play tyranids of some sort, so it will be tyranid focused probably. The problem is the other people in the club play all sorts of different races.

I could do the typical tyranid swarm invades star system, and just do a Tyranid vs All type division. However it would be quite hard to justify chaos fighting alongside greyknights or necrons for example.

Any lore-correct explainations, and/or any good ideas for the backdrop of how to run such a campaign?

Thanks.

In all fairness if it was a new player I can understand the mistake. Points values are slightly obtuse if you aren't familiar with how an army is supposed to look, I could see the mistake of looking at the points page without knowing what anything means and assuming it's just buy whatever you want.

Hey discount ketchup skin, if we strangle you what color do you turn?

>full, crimson lips
>blue mascara
Welp, got a facefucking coming up, that's 2 of 3 kinks on the button.
user, you really, REALLY need help for this?
Considering the lore is rife with desperate allies events when nids or daemons are concerned?

>However it would be quite hard to justify chaos fighting alongside greyknights or necrons for example.

Well they wouldnt be fighting side by side, more like they would be fighting the same enemy.

the whole 'some units include wargear cost' and some don't it's extra fucking work for newfags. Seriously.

you sound really encouraging and fun to be around

>user, you really, REALLY need help for this?
Considering the lore is rife with desperate allies events when nids or daemons are concerned?

please justify chaos demons fighting with space marines that makes sense lore-wise.

Thanks.

Well what are all of the factions in your store, you could organise the game to be a 3 or 4 way game with nids, imperium+friendly xenos (tau/eldar, maybe orks if they've been fluffed as mercenaries))+hostile xenos (crons or orks, not together) and chaos
basically give us a rundown of all of the xenos armies in store, chaos and imperum can be lumped in their own factions, nids in a third and then we'll see for the rest

Femarines and Space Wolves aside, she has a very Dwayne Johnson look to her.

I'm new at this and it's not fucking hard. Identify whats standard on a model and if there is wiggle room then identify what you can do.

I don't because my corporeal form no longer exists now Tzeentch has blessed me

Daemons turn on Nids because the Nids Shadow in the Warp starts disconnecting them from the Warp and thus their material forms start to disappear, so the Daemons concentrate on the Nids so they remain corporeal and plan to turn on the Space Marines when the Nids are dead.

The Space Marines, meanwhile, turn on the Nids knowing that they're the bigger threat as the Warp Rift could be closed by bombardment in extreme circumstances.

Done. Not him btw.

Get 72'' table.

4000pt of Nids in the middle.
2000pt of Faction X on one side.
2000pt of faction Y on the other.

LAST MAN STANDING

You're just jealous because you brought a knife against a fighter jet.

If I take an auxiliary detachment of GSC Purestrains, can they cult ambush?

Tyranids are invading a system while at the same time Chaos is attempting to steal a highly dangerous and powerful artifact placed in a slumbering Necron Tomb world. The Grey Knights are trying to stop them.

The planet just so happens to be a Tau Sept world that was recently conquered from the Imperium, who are sending forces to retake the planet.

The Orks are attracted to the calls of battle and join the fray.

Eldar want to stop Chaos from getting the artifact and stop the Necrons from awakening.

Dark Eldar abuse the confusion to steal slaves.

Simple....Or just mimic Dark Crusades campaign and call it a day.

I said it's extra work, not that it's impossible.

He won the last local tournament playing tyranids, it was his third game playing tau and he even had battlescribe and the index.

He either did it on purpose or he is so stupid he can't manage anything with equipment.

Fuck. I never thought about giving my sharks Chainglaives. I have a bunch for my night lords, but that's looks fucking sweet.

They would not be fighting "with" them, they'd be on the same battlefield. Fuck, I'd turn it into a threeway dance the moment one side decided to screw over the unspoken peace deal.

Come down here and say it to my face!

>chaos fools everyone and seeks to corrupt all
They were merely pretending to be allies, why that Bloodthirster of Kur'gar'arshnath looks just like our friendly Chaplain here

Not along side. Make it so that the xenos have an advantage in these 3 way battles and unless chaos and IMPERIUM stop shooting each other and focus down the xenos. It else they both get overrun.

2000 point list, first try (ignore the 1500 cap)

what changes do you make?

Should I be running Deathwatch with specialized melee and ranged units or build them as all rounder units?

With how the current setting is, with chaos and the warp fucking up everything.

Wouldn't it make some fucking sense for the imperium to get over its Xenophobia for half a second? Like yeah, maybe we should link up with the Eldar at least for half a second to deal with this.

Post a song and anons guess your army(ies).
I'll start.

Posted this in the last thread and got one response which I will address momentarily:

Can someone help me with my Harlequins list? Going for battleforged, battalion detachment.

>HQ:
x3 Shadowseers (one embarked on Starweaver)
>Elites:
x2 Death Jester
x1 Solitaire
>Troops
x2 Troupe (11 each)
x1 Troupe (5, embarked on Starweaver)
>Fast Attack
x3 Skyweavers (2 each)
>Dedicated Transport
x1 Starweaver

All this comes out to 1470 points, all base points value (I've included default wargear). Do I add more stuff, or do I just spend the remaining 530 points on kitting the shit out of them all?

Now, should I put fusion pistols on ALL of them including the ones in the transport?
How do I know which ones to give Embrace, and which to give Caress?
Apparently I need to give all my Skyweavers zephyrglaives instead. How about their shooty weapon?
Do I replace one of the Solitaires with a troupe master?

>app shit
Will never read

Atkins is a great diet, I suggest all neckbeards give it a try.

...

Imperial fists!

that could be a cool final event for the campaign.

thanks for the idea!

Although I Feel actually getting to the models on the inside might be physically difficult for the women.

Thanks for these ideas. I'll bring them up, although I'm not sure if these will be convincing enough. These girls are all about the storyplot so we'll see.

>it's that raging autismo from last thread

have sex

Reposting from a day or two ago: anyone in Albany, NY or western MA area up for a small game or two this weekend?

Tbh, one way you can read adding models to a unit is that Khorne berserkers can be 35 strong, because base 5 + 5 + 15 + 10
He probably got mixed up between burst cannons or thought it was any option on the ranged weapon list

There is zero reason not to put fusion pistols on all of them. Best option and cheap as fuck.

>it's that assblasted muslim from last thread
Have better genes

Specialised, always go specialised, and just one unit of tank busters, one unit of heavy infantry killers
>implying that won't be Cawl's faction of the imperial triumverate

Go eat some apple sauce and shut the fuck up grandpa.

Ok fuck that guy. If he can build nids he can build tau.

You have a lot of boots and little to no armor.
Your ability to deal with high wound units is very limited.

just report him, it's probably the guy who's autistic about SoB.

what do you suggest for armor?

So writefag question here, are Tau AI affected by psychic powers?

Specifically, if a Patriarch hypnotizes a Crisis Suit Commander, would his AI be desperately trying to snap him out of it, ir would it be right there alongside him?

Arjac and wolfguard with stormbolters and power swords is pretty good.

>projecting /pol bait onto general hobby elitism
Why, normies are worse than mohameddeans because they didn't integrate into this wonderful hobby despite existing with it for 40+ years
Dark eldar

Cool, thanks user.
What about the Embrace/Caress ratio?

Ding ding ding.

youtu.be/mN4AxskpSAE

Well tau aren't designed with Psykers in mind, so the AI would do one thing, the tau another, and might try a manual override, which worked for Shadowsun but not others
Although why are genestealers feeling up my sons

With the main exception of demonic possession, psychic powers that work on people's minds don't seem to have any effect on machines in 40k.

>mfw I was once autistic enough to try and attach a song to every single army

Boise marines

Get some attack bikes in your fast slots, make sure you have meltabombs on your assault marines, maybe drop some points for a baby flyer.

Nope

If the table is 72'' x 36'' it should be fine; it'll also serve as a sort of gauntlet so that Faction X can't freely open fire on Faction Y before the blockading faction has been dealt with.

Faction X and Y does not need to be on the same team for defeating the Defending faction.

Don't spend 500 points on extra wargear.

Get more dudes. Get fusion pistols, maybe a couple upgrades here or there.

Caress aren't worth it in most scenarios because -1AP is worth more than +1S AND they cost more, unless your opponent is fielding enough T4 dudes that ignore more than -1AP(ie TH/SS termies) for you to want them.

So how boned is Chaos in this tournament lol:

strawpoll.me/13536976/r

Imperium basically has almost the same numbers as Chaos and Fuck Em Both combined.

If Chaos somehow managed to get almost EVERY SINGLE player from "Fuck Em Both" to take their side, which is already highly unlikely, then they would be very slightly ahead on percentages and somehow need to win at least half of their games total - which isn't going to happen when Space Marines are the only race with a Codex and IG are the best faction in the game. Also Sisters and AdMech are both above average power level.

I basically don't see a way for Imperium to lose.

I'm 5'9" 165 pounds. Don't need no diet senpai.

That's not artistic as there's only 16 factions but this is

Zombies and shit so... Nurgle?

Here's mine. I really love this song. Don't play the army it makes me think of but its great.

You know chaos win melee vs imperium every time

This is just here on Veeky Forums though plenty of wiggle room beyond our collective basements.

youtube.com/watch?v=_NdV7-rOt2Y

Now that trannies aren't allowed in the army do you think that shitsters of basshole will get squatted?

The most effective thing harlies have are troupes with caress and troupe masters, or troops with pistols against vehicles. That should be half your list. Then transports, a shadowseer, and 4-6 bikes with glaives.

>Although why are genestealers feeling up my sons
Because the Tau weren't suspicious enough when a large group of odd looking and heavily armed abhumans rose up to help them topple the planetary government.

I thought the codex would have leaked by now, at least the point costs so people can make lists for saturday.

Not with the new Space Marines Codex they don't, lol.
