Extending the metaphor, imagine if some asshole teenager with a shovel ran in and tore apart the moat. Is the teenager stronger than the ocean for destroying something the tide had not? Again, fuck no.

There are three Eldrazi Titans. All the other Eldrazi are extensions of one of the three Titans. There are essentially only three Eldrazi.

Sorin, Nahiri and Ugin got the Titans to manifest themselves physically on Zendikar, and trapped them there. The bulk of their forms remained in he blind eternities, but with their main chunks asleep they were trapped and rendered dormant, until their cage was opened.

At the end of the OGW story the Gatewatch pulled Ulamog and Kozilek all the way into the plane. The entirety of the creatures manifested physically, as a mass of flesh and tentacles that took up the entire sky. And then through some leyline shenanigans, they were destroyed. With their entire "bodies" on the physical plane, destroying them actually destroyed them. They are destroyed. Gone. Dead. Beaten.

Emrakul isn't necessarily beaten though - she manifested physically on Innistrad and then made Tamiyo use one of her doomsday scrolls to imprison Emrakul in the moon. Emrakul is basically locked away dormant in Innistrad's moon the same way she had been imprisoned in Zendikar. I would call her beaten, for now, but that doesn't mean she can't be destroyed in a similar way as Ulamog and Kozilek were.
