OH FUCK THAT SZALLY!

TUNGUSKA DROP WHEN?

So on the last post there was talk of a 300 point corregidor command box in Oct. Any ideas of what could be inside it? I wanted to pick up that faction but is it just worth waiting now?

Its kinda meh-ish, but could probably be good with the corregidor starter as well.

Should mention that I don't play Nomads so it may actually be good, I dunno. if you get a 5th Brigada then a full team sounds pretty dope though.

Wow, that's really underwhelming. Also Mcmurrough is laughably retarded looking next to the newer models

I'm gonna be honest, I'm hype for the new neema sculpt.

McMurrough is the ugliest fucking model for being such a noob trap. Seriously, every newbie decides to go CHA and buys McMurrough, and my heart dies a little bit because they're not buying new hot beautiful cyberpunk HI models.
As much as I hate McMurrough, I wish they would just resculpt him so newbies got some good shit coming into the game.

His model is pretty good. Also he's a fuckin Monster.

So wasn't Andromeda suppose to be the weird purple dinosaur from the RPG or was that something else? Also, does anyone have the picture of that weird purple ALEPH dinosaur so I can show to all my friends who don't believe me that it exists?

Thanks of the help I think I am just going to pass on that because all those models look awful,

He and the other cameronians really need a resculpt. Duroc too (Mirage-5 as a whole needs new minis).

>His model is pretty good
No it's not

>Also he's a fuckin Monster.
Yes, he is

It's just McMurrough imo. The rest is fine, and up to date for the most part. But if you just dont like the looks, then that's fair

If *ALL* of the models look awful to you, Infinity might not be the game for you. Most of those besides the ugly furry are newish and gorgeous.

Ya I am more talking about my own tastes. Because I own a bunch of stuff for morats and some Onyx and I love them.

There is some one I know who is trying to sell this off for like $75 would this be a good way to get in to corregidor?

Mostly because I like this style more.

Photo derped

Objectively worst taste.

Szally is a Unidron :(

I'm shitting the bed with remembering rules.

If a linked doctor has an servant bot, does he drop out of the link immediately upon the first order spent on the link? Or only when he's the leader? Or did they fix it?

A trooper with a syncronized troop (G:Servant o G:Syncro) cant join a fireteam.

So with the info dropping it's safe to assume tunguska here the earliest varuna later, maybe one more with the rest of the sectorials next year? Would love to see them drop every 4 months or something like that.

No, that's Delphyne. Page 430 of core. If their response if "hurr Modiphius raping the lore", remind them that it has the CB stamp of approval.

Here's something new and cute.

The idea is that Neema's triad gets in there and eats ass as the main spearhead. The Sakiel paramedic can be switched for the Kosuil if the mission needs an aggressive engineer. Switch dresses as a diplomatic delegate, and Neema's extra command token mostly helps convert their orders to regular orders.
The Sentinel is primarily for STR for test run, but a second nullifier is also relevant. The second triad in group 1 is just there to make orders and protect the CoC in the event that Neema goes down.

Scratch that-
Remove Switch, change the Kamael paramedic to a White Hacker, add another Kaauri. For some reason I thought I was at 6 SWC.

Changed up the groups as well. Now group 1 is less reliant on command tokens for 10 orders, and the Kaauri and Chaksa are in the same group for coordinated moving around behind smoke and setting up suppression.

It's more sensible starting point for sure. Even if Jaguar links are bit weird, at least they provide orders for a pool for decent price.

2018

I'm pretty sure that's the wotan bundle

Sooo lo,oing foward to Tunguska, also looks like 2017 is a shit year for Tohaa, just like 2016 fuck all releases.

Motherfucker you got Sukeuls and a pilot with big tits. What more do you want?

Yeah, he could probably use a resculpt.

...

RPG when.

Ask the Latvians, they're the ones printing it. PDF of core is done, core CE and player's guide are in final error checking.

Excellent news.

Time to try and buy a copy of each.

wow so this year we got like 3 single model blisters one plenty of people won't use cause the Gorgos sucks.

You ungrateful little...

There is no conspiracy to make traditional games politically correct. Characters in fiction and gaming communities simply change with respect to the latest cultural values. But you fedora-tipping cancerous fucks always blame imaginary SocJus boogeymen when people start hating you for the shit that you do. As long as you continue to refuse act like decent human beings, people will keep noticing.

But of course, you will keep blaming imaginary "SJWs", "poseurs" and "normies" when you the public hates you for the scum you are. And let's not even get started on how you all react to games becoming more popular and easily accessible.

Why is guard such a shit skill ?

I womdee if there is r34 for this pasta.

I agree the Sukuels are awesome.

Discount, worse, martial arts, but you need to haul big base in addition. You don't want to engage with them.

Shittier MA chart. Also makes the silhouette S4 therefore easier to spot and can't walk into objective rooms unless you walk in Prone.

There's a reason you don't get many new releases: You don't need them. There are less than half a dozen things left to make for Tohaa. A couple of Taqeul, Sukeul HMG maybe another Clipsos or Sakiel. None of the models are old and outdated, no significant changes have been made to the faction's aesthetics. Compare that to the to-do list of PanO, for example, which includes Dronbots, Armbots, Locusts, Auxilia, half the HI range, Kamau, Cutter and the MO starter. All the other factions have backlogs like this, Tohaa does not.

>Tohaa does not.
They didn't appear until C:Paradiso, right? That helps explain that.

Looks like the 300pts pack is basically everything a Corregidor player would want, but not necessarily run all at once.
My advice is to get the generic Nomad starter pack for Alguaciles and 5th Brigada and either the Alguaciles pack, Lupe or Vortex Spec-Ops to run an Alguaciles link or alternatively Jaguars to act as cheerleaders (though with McMurrough they are not as essential, as he has Smoke). And of course either Sniper or HMG Intruder.

The 300pts pack is great value, but not a great army on its own. It's great if you want to run Corregidor not based on Wildcats and particularly good for Brigada Pain Train lists.

Maybe because I'm used to fuck-ugly animal people sculpts from other manufacturers, but IMO McMurrough is ace. I don't see how he could age badly when he has good wolf-face proportions and generally people expect less from animal faces than human ones.

McMurr honestly eats the so well-liked Rakham Confrontation wolfmen for breakfast and I've never seen a werewolf sculpted as well as the Dog-Warriors or Antipodes. I almost wish a hypothetical fantasy game from CB would be a furry one, as various other anthro animal miniature models are just fuck ugly compared to Dog-Warriors or Uberfallkommando. Just google WarGods of Aegyptus or Bushido Miniatures Kitsune or even Dark Sword's Critter Kingdoms – CB just blows the out of the water with their kits.

Could have just made them something to sick on your opponent, like madtraps or crazy koalas, except re-usable.
And have it be normal size.

G-synched fighters, like pupniks.

Alright listen, I always see you guys ranting about how great your rules are and how great your minis are, and you know what, you got me I'm curious. Would any of you fine gentleman mind giving me the proper sales pitch for this?

Do you think guard would ever get a rework, some of the units are really nice.

No. This club is exclusive, we don't want anything to do with rabble such as you.

rood

1. Do you like 80's anime?
2. Does some extra randomness bother you?

Sure I hope so. Marksmanship LX could use a rework too

Holy shit that is bad

Cyberpunk black ops ~160 years in the future, with anime-inspired aesthetics and a siesta-inspired release schedule.

The new minis are probably the best looking in the industry. If you like the themes you are good to go there.

Rules wise, there are a lot of details per model. There seems like there is an attempt to make every units feel as unique as possible. So if you like X it feels different from playing Y. Even basic units that are functionally the same have some slight differences in this way to make everything pretty unique.

Gamplay uses a phased turn system. With 3 turns and a reactive and active player phase for both player.

In the reactive turn, you opponent moves and you make reaction moves. In the active turn you spend orders to move what ever model you like while you opponent reacts. Each model grants an order. You can use the same model with every order if you like.

The way things play out, you have model you set up controlling firelines and acting as defense controling zones. A few models act as rambo moving up the board making attacks and accompllishing objectives. This makes the game very strat focused in how you defend you areas and how you position you rambos for stuff.

Infinity is not my favorite game. However, I don't think I have ever played a game where there was so much tension for every choice you make. You always feel like you are playing and making decisions even when you are reactive. The system is a little weird when compared to other games. This was offputting looking into the game. I didn't like how the non rambo units played when I watched a few games. The rules are also pretty complicated as they are very different from most other mini wargames. However, once I started playing and saw how important nearly every model can be and I was sold on how much more fun I was having that most other systems out there.

Thanks, that was informative and helpful. What is the setting and the different factions like? I understand that is a lot to ask, but could you maybe give me the broad strokes?

What's everyone working on?

I got a few CHA pieces from cho, Zhanying and Airborne qt, and stripped/repainting Uxia.

Also repainted Isobel's face. Originally the eyes were tiny and the skin was very uneven

Factions:
Pan Oceania; the hyperpower - after a enormous market crash the now bankrupt US and EU got bought out by a conglomerate of Indonesia, the Philipines and various other countires. They are ultra-capitalists and basically the most powerful faction. The catolic church is a major stakeholder and as such has a lot of say, too.
Very shooty, very high-tech. Not much in the way of shenanigans or hackers, but diverse power armor units and big robots. Their subfactions are jungle fighters, crusader knights, capitol elite guard and (soon) naval troops.

Yu-Jing; the eternal rival - China after the crash. Nearly as powerful as PanO, a socialist empire. Not fun, with state sec around every corner and a brewing rebellion. Non-Chinese are second-class citizens.
More shenanigns, with generally more competent melee fighters. Also, some of the best heavy infantry in the game. Subfactions include the state sec, the Japanese militia and (soon) the invincible army, an elite regiment.

Ariadna, the space amish - Survivors from the first big space exploring vessel by the same name. Crashed on a habitable planet with telepatic werewolf people as natives. On the upside the planet also contains a shitload of expensive minerals. Tech-wise they are hopelessly outdated and adher to old traditions.
Low-tech factions; very little in the way of good gear, but nothing is hackable and most stuff is cheap as chips with good stats. Subfactions are French military police, insane Scotsmen, the US Army and (soon) speznaz.

Nomads, space degenerates - Inhabitants of three big-ass spaceships. They are all anti-authorian dipshits ranging from literal feminazis in powerarmor to a sadomaso hacker religion.
Gameplay wise this is shenanigans - the faction. Hackers galore and every unit has some form of weird special rule or brings some nasty gear. Subfactions are space-Veeky Forums, Hackers 2 - more hackers and the space workers' union.

Combined Army, the alien threat - impossibly vast alien empire who's first vanguard elements are making their way into human space. Their boss is an AI that wants to unlock the secret of transcendence and needs more computing power.
Gameplay is very diverse between the subfactions, but in general you have weird gear and rules coupled with specialist troops. Morats are beefstick gorillas, expensive but powerful and reliable, Onyx have wicked guns on frail bodies and Shasvasti are shit.

She looks so sneaky, like a blond gypsy I know. Always much envy on how crisp your models look like.

Haqqislam, the new Islam - Traders, doctors and scholars, this faction is built around an enlightened interpretation of Islam with a deeply humanist bend. They have a monopoly on much of the biotech sector, especially the drugs that allows for resurrection. While not in the league of PanO or YuJing, they are still a major player and tremendously wealthy.
Excellent light infantry is their main thing, with lots of gene-therapy-based special rules. Subfactions are the assassin brotherhood and the trade guard.

Aleph, friendly neighborhood AI - the AI running the human infrastructure. Might be your best friend, might be a tyrant in the making. Has it's own spec ops teams, the Vedic, which is a bunch of artificial humans, mind uploads and robots, as well as the Homeridae, a standing army of heroes formed in the image of the Illiad for PR reasons.
Tends towards hyper-elite with lots of durable shit and expensive gear. Subfactions are the Homeridae mentioned above and (soon) the Vedic.

Tohaa, the other aliens - Staunch enemies of the Combined Army, they've fought them for a long-ass time. Currently seeking to ally with the humans. Obsessed with numbers. Very big focus on biotech and genetic manipulations.
Very unique special rules and gear you won't find anywhere else. No subfactions.

hey guys, im new to infinity game and looking to begin playing with a group of friends who wish to try, im looking into panocenia, does the game itself have like starters sets of some sorts?

Check their webstore

then come back

Operation Icestorm is a 2player starter set with PanO in it. Ask, if some of your friends would like Nomads.

Rude.

I´m not the making stupid questions about how to start playing a game without even looking what i am for

Yes, there are newb friendly(-ish) starter packs for every major faction and sectorial, 300 point packs, and two 2-player starter sets (with a bit of terrain). For Pan Oceania specifically there are four starter packs (one of which shares models with the two player starter pack Operation Icestorm which also has PanO). Alternatively, you can just buy units you like for example a box of Magisters and Knights of Santiago .

Sadly it's been raining or extremely humid the past few weeks so I can't prime my Ayyar yet.

Thanks! Yeah, she does look a bit sneaky.

You in the east coast US? Weather's been shit here recently. It's actually really nice today (for the time being), so I quickly primed Uxia, Airborne, and the zhanying

There's two boxes - Red Veil and Icestorm, which pair starter lists balanced against each other. Those are great if you split one with a buddy.

Be wary of the faction 'Starter Boxes'. They are almost all good and useful, but not balanced against each other - they're all 6 models strong, so the difference between elite and swarmy armies is massive. They're designed to be used as a baseline for your list together with a couple of other purchases.

Yeah, this is the modern model for the dude.

>modern model
You guys clearly havent seen the current standard for the Doggos. Even the boring Devil Dog looks better

SeeAnd think again.

Devil Dogs are the best.

McMurough looks great though and not out of place.

>GW squats the old marines
>autistic rage and reeeeeing

>CB updates old sculpts
>no one bats an eye, and everyone is excited about the new minis

Really makes you think

Well, some models by CB are their early CAD or traditional days and they look a little wonky and don't fit with the newer original models.

Personally I find all the dogface models to look good.

Really I'd want them to go back to some early CAD models and fix their scale. My Barid has a complex about how short he is.

Yeah the old wolfmen were something else. Many of the old sculpts had plenty of character but were ugly or disproportioned, by todays standards at least.

There is literally nothing wrong with current McMurr. The dude is trapped in wolf mode instead of hulking out like the dog warriors.

Yeah, he is the sophisticated wolfman, not the mindless thugs like others.

Now if only Duroc got resculpt...

Why are Wu Mings so sexy?

Is there any where I can buy some 1 off models from some of the boxes? Because I would like a 5th Witch Solider to fill out my fire team or the named Morat girl from the dire foes box.

Dumping recent work:

Yes, here's one. I used this guy a few times and can confirm he's legit. If you want something not on the list, email him or something.
shaekonnitgames.com/infinity-split-box-deal/

...

Noice!

...

...

I don't see it. McMurrogh is perfectly fine. Maybe a tad anthro, but with Infinity that's not a downside.

...

...

...

...

...

Because they are hardened convicts locked into their armor, control over which has been given to a bunch of sadists, so they are both pitiful and deserving.

>GW squats the old marines
Wait, what?
Have the primaris guys supplemented regular marines after all?

That's what the manlets players believe

He's memeing. Ignore it.

Thank you. That was very kind of you to info dump for me like that.

Can anyone tell me about the crusader looking guys? I haven't had the time to look through all the model ranges yet, but I remember seen pictures of those here on Veeky Forums once and I tough they looked pretty cool.
