How does it feel to know that grenades in Starfinder are reusable RAW and can be Returning?

It makes me happy!

Makes the costs not so insane.

The last thing I want is a returning grenade, are you fucking stupid?
>pull pin
>throw
>lands on ground
>comes flying back at you
>blows up

Its an impact grenade. It explodes when it hits something. I don't know why the other grenade still has the pin in it though.

So it if blow up when it is on the ground and again when it smack into your face?

That's an awfully realistic pistol for what looks like an airsoft fight.

It doesn't feel like anything. No one plays with RAW except autists on Veeky Forums.

Why would an impact grenade even have a pin?

So it doesn't explode while you're carrying it?

Because people fall over/bump into things.

>throw grenade
>it doesn't kill the enemy

You've got bigger problems

Not on my phone no.

Though I would certainly appreciate an art dump

Your many flasks of alchemist fire never did.
Surely everyone who does collides at throwing velocities.

>Your many flasks of alchemist fire never did.

That's because Alchemist's Fire explodes when shattered, not just from an errant bump or particularly vicious jostle.

currently recruiting games are:

Where are you applying, user?

>Surely everyone who does collides at throwing velocities.

Impact grenades are not designed to break like alchemist's fire. They are supposed to go off when they hit the ground, even if that ground is soft dirt.

...

Friendly reminder that we have a Starfinder discord here:

discord.gg/YAk263j

But that's a 2hucord.

Sell me on Triaxus, lads. What makes it Shadowrun?

What's a Triaxus?

And?

Friendly reminder that the /pgg/ Discord has a #starfinder channel and negates any need in the 2hucord: discord.gg/KPKWdyr

It's a planet in both Pathfinder and Starfinder!

Grenades being infinite is funny RAW, but I doubt a single DM is going to take you serious if you insist on it.

Tell me more!

>Inspectorcord

I'm going to.
Grenade prices make absolutely no sense if they're consumables - they're absurdly expensive.
The only context where these massive prices make sense is if they're reusable.

Yes, and?

It's a planet with a highly irregular orbit around the Sun that can take as long as 317 years to complete, taking it far out into the Solar System or almost as close as Castroval! This means the planet is snow-locked and vicious for hundreds of years, only to become steamy and exceptionally fertile the next few centuries! The local Triaxians reflect this change by having Summerborn Triaxians and Winter Triaxians, those born during the "Summer" and "Winter" respectively with obvious physical differences, such as the lack of fur!

Half of the planet is ruled by Dragons, who in Starfinder seemed to have become CEOs!

But that one has annoying idiots in it.

And yet here you are in this thread.

Is that black hole graphic real or from Starfinder? I didn't think there were black holes of that diameter.

>Grenade prices make absolutely no sense if they're consumables - they're absurdly expensive.

If you think them as scrolls of fireball, then the prices make sense, dumbass.

>I didn't think there were black holes of that diameter.

There are.

I am tired of this bullshit bamboozle nonsense so no, I would rather not.

You need to think less like fantasy DM and more like cyberpunk DM
Grenades are free when you steal them.
Always haggle, never accept the first price.
Why do you think asshole NPCs buy 10% from you

What do you guys think of the Ysoki? Has paizo gone too far? this rocket racoon bullshit has to stop at soem point right? I mean look at these fucks. I bet you queers plan to play these cheese kikes and use anime girls with rat ears arent you?

Full PDF when?

Personally, I'm not really a fan of the Ysokai. They don't bring anything interesting to the table either mechanically or in fluff, and are clearly meant to appeal to the people who want to play the "plucky animal-person companion."

>I bet you queers plan to play these cheese kikes and use anime girls with rat ears arent you?

I've seen plenty of people around here excited to play a Vesk or Android or even Kasatha, but none seem keen on going Ysokai. It's fine.

They are literally no better than regular weapons, thus not justifying this.
Let's look at the end of the scale:
Tempest Shock Caster deals 7d12+20 (thanks to specialisation), average 64.5, in a 20ft radius, costs 735200.
Frag Grenade VIII deals 20d6 (grenades never get specialisation), average 70, in a 15ft radius, costs 216800.
For the Shock Caster you can barely afford three grenades, yet the Shock Caster is actually arguably better.
As it stands, grenades are utter garbage.

I guess it makes sense that their size is limited only by the matter within its sphere of influence.

>As it stands, grenades are utter garbage.
Soldiers make grenades for free.

Only one per encounter, on the grenade specialist subclass.

Honestly I don't see why they didnt go with golarion ratfolk or at least kobolds in space.

So why bother adventuring then? Just open a grenade emporium and retire at level 1.

>kobolds in space
This

I'm considering running a 1-3 session oneshot over discord, but I have a dilemma; theatre of the mind, or grids? I'd be comfortable with theatre of the mind, but a grid system provides deeper tactical clarity, and this game idea will be mostly combat.

Does anyone know where I can find some good sci-fi grids? Gridded out spaceship interiors would be perfect.

Cut the orange tip off, and they look identical when drawn as cartoon.

Curiously, is there an item or something that gives a collective like Vitalist or Tactician without dipping into those classes?

I love how idiots in these threads complain about rules bloat, and then try to pull stupidity like "grenades never really explode, you can re-use them" in order to get more rules added to the game they're complaining is "2 BLOATED WITH RULZ".

>playing it as Guardians of the Galaxy
>not playing it as Valarian
Idiots, I tell you.

2hu is already shitting up ysoki:

This is all your fault. You bred people like 2hu and now the rest of the world has to deal with this bullshit forever.

Thanks alot pfg, thanks a fucking lot.

how do you identify 2hu
there are like multiple 2hu copycats going around

It's 2hu's character from 2hucord.

Seems a little barebones and "I don't give a fuck" for a backstory.

Our GM is a miser with his rewards. I'm thinking about taking over a business in our next stop to the capital. What business ventures are suitable for a safe stream of money for the party? What strategy would you suggest to either create one or take over an existing one?

Never swears, never curses, deletes posts just to add in one extra line. So autistic that he's robotic.

>editing a post is autism
You're the autist.

Why did we merge back into /pgg/ when we've now got different crowds talking about totally different games and confusing each other with shared terminology?

We split back up earlier but some of you were clamoring for a thread merge.

>Never swears, never curses
Does he say expletives, though?

Going to roll a Zen Archer for the first time, a friend told me that pretty much builds itself, is that easy? any recommendation in the order of feat picks?
Stats are going to be: 14, 14, 12, 10, 19, 10 after Race bonuses (Human).

Not enough people for 2 active generals

Why do her breasts have zippers?

Textiles, taverns and butchers are always safe sources of revenue for an Adventurer.

Are the rules for repairing Drones vague, or am I missing something? A Drone is a technological construct, cannot recover damage on its own.

Engineering: Repair Item: You can use Engineering to repair [a technological object]. The DC of the check is determined by the GM.

So repairing a Drone is completely at the mercy of the GM? What DC would you use?

Losers get their nipples punished.

I'm guessing either DC 10 or DC 15 + Drone level.

Also, am I reading wrong or Improved Precise Shot literally makes half of Trick Shot feature useless?

And now i want to play a solarian, if only you could have both the armor and weapon

I think the other grenade is just a picture for reference. The composition is sorta ambiguous, but there is a white outline around the Grenade in the foreground and it has no motion blur.

Like everyone said, it wouldn't make sense to throw a grenade with the pin still in it. There is also no reason to throw two. If they land perpendicular to the target BBs from one will be deflected by the other, meaning only one would be getting the whole effect. And if they land parallel to the target, there is no advantage to hitting somebody with twice as many BBs when you only need one to take somebody out. Better off throwing one, and then another if the first one somehow didn't work.

Normally I would say that I want to suck her toes but there is something wrong with those feet and I am not happy.

I want to nibble on those Elf ears if you know what I mean.

I'm glad that you're happy, but here I am unsatisfied with the quality of those poorly drawn feet.

What is the point of designing costumes that leave the toes exposed the the artist cannot draw them properly?

Man if you want to get deeper into the picture you could just say the guy's trying to be tacticool while having a fun game with his friends.

>app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/83277/the-fiends-and-intrigues-of-house-karvane
>BANLIST Fey Obediences banned (don't be a dick, don't break the game)
What's even good about Fey Obedience?

>SSDK materials
What the fuck?

Baiting fetishists?

>tfw the athletic open-footed redheaded tomboy archer will never step on you

Leakanon said if he'll post AP#1 ? Or someone else ?

How do I pronounce Ng?

Say "mmm" but with your mouth open and teeth clenched.

Nig.

I hate it.
I do love that they can be thrown with strength.
FASTBALL GRENADE

Homebrew-producing GM allows his own homebrew to be used in his game, what's new?

And Fey Obedience may be a meme, but it has the whole Maghdh thing that is trivially easy to use and extremely powerful, so that's why it tends to be banned.

Where the hell are people getting these naid rules if we doubt have the pdf for the rule book yet

there are some idiots who actually buy the rulebook, dontchanow

Advice for building a humanoid eidolon for a synthesist summoner? What ideas usually do or don't work? General character design tips? How would you do it?

Guys, you can enchant your shotgun with Axiomatic in Starfinder. Chaos Shotgun!

That would be an Anarchic shoota, ya dumdum.
>captcha: speed posta
TYPING SWIFTLY

Is there an item or spell that gives a target flying stability in any weather?

I did not know! ANARCHY SHOTGUN!

Missed the new thread when I replied to this nonsense, so let me repeat myself here instead of the dying one;
That interpretation is terribly silly, and you know you're splitting hairs and being contrary. Besides, the 'special thrown weapon' thing is also touched upon in the AMMUNITION section:
> "For weapons with other forms of ammunition (such as grenades), ammunition must be purchased separately."
> "Ammunition & Grenades"
> "Grenades, ammunition and OTHER CONSUMABLE ITEMS can benefit from fusion seals, but the fusion seal is destroyed when the item is used."
Just stop being stubborn and accept that, yes, grenades explode and are ruined when they do damage. It'll save most GMs smacking you upside the head when you try to argue it at the table.

Damn, really?

That's just the sound "un" in Japanese, the thing Deidara keeps saying, isn't it?

Barring multiclass combos, there are generally two "top tier" eidolon builds. One would be the pouncemonster, which is a quadruped and the evangelion which is a biped. The pouncemonster focuses on pouncing, and the evangelion takes advantage of the biped's higher strength score and increased reach. Once you get the chassis down the rest is fairly easy, for either one you have relative freedom to choose how you make your attacks, you either go with multiweapon fighting and a million arms, or natural attacks. Multiweapon is more expensive but has an easier time dealing with DR, Natural attacks are slightly cheaper (AoMFs are still expensive as fuck). Afterwards it becomes a matter of deciding on what weapons you focus on, Multiweapon uses shortswords, natural attacks generally focus on one natural attack type, typically claws since they're cheap and there you have it. Size boosts trumps stat bust when it comes to cost efficiency so go for that when given the choice, then take utility like scent/blindsense when you have points to spare.

There are tons of other builds but those are your main options if you want something "strong" out of the box.

Help please

Anyone?

You're missing the point.

Ng is pronounced just like the -ng part of -ing. Properly spelling his name would be ŋ or ᛝ.

Near as I can tell, yes.
