Veeky Forums likes quality content and the discussion of quantifiable, tangible things even if they are imaginary. We like numbers and facts to the betterment of the narrative, but we're willing to suspend our disbelief for a plausible enough setting.

/x/ just makes shit up. It doesn't need to be good or informed, someone is crazy enough to write something stupid and people will believe it regardless of narrative quality. They specifically hate numbers and facts, thinking they're misinformation, and believe silly things because they lack the historical perspective, or general fucking internet literacy. It doesn't help that Veeky Forums is filled primarily with curmudgeon adults and /x/ had literal twelve year olds. Old /x/ was good, but now it's all ARG Family Fingers bullshit that's vaugely creepy but still stupid.

For the most part Veeky Forums has pretty good taste, whereas /a/ is entirely garbage sheeple.

Alternatively Veeky Forums, seeing as Veeky Forums is all about "fun."

But I love going /out/. I plan on starting to gather mushrooms for the first time soon, and want to try foraging in general in late August when you start getting lots of good salad greens and whatnot to harvest.
