A space marine box costs GW 3cents each, and they sell it with a 50000% profit margin, so... yeah, they're getting sued for a LOT of stuff, including profiteering

Honestly, yeah, its tempting to jack up your prices like that, but wouldnt you make more money by selling at affordable prices so everyone can play?

Im from the 3rd world, but Ive still spent enough money to buy 2 cars and 1 house in MTG cards. If WH40K was as cheap you can bet I would play the fuck out of it and have plenty of armies to boot

Racketeering? Price fixing? Restraint of trade? Conspiracy?

This is the most retarded lawsuit of all time. Yeah, GW charges too much for their plastic crap. That's not worth a 62 million dollar settlement.

They'll probably just pay the guy off with the entire ultramarines chapter

We have like 10 threads on this shit per day. We know. It's probably not gonna actually go anywhere, and we can't affect the outcome anyways.

>profiteering
lol?

Since when was charging too much money for cheap plastic a just cause for filing a suit?

Since England, user.
They are in violation of English trade laws.

Noice.

For once that island is good for something.

which laws?

ITT: Imbeciles who have no idea what wages, machine running costs, packing and shipping, or mould production costs are

Just like the time they barred 17 year old from buying plastic knifes.

If that was the reason for GW prices, historical miniatures would be even more expensive, because a Warlord Games or Perry average box has way more miniatures.

What if the 3 cents cost includes everything, user?

Not really, once you get to nachining a sprue it's not much difference between doing 10 minis and a bunch of bits or just the 20 minis .
Historicals are cheaper because direct competition actually exists and they typically don't have the attendant costs of maintaining a game and setting as well as a store chain.

All that aside this guy clearly doesn't understand that there's more than just raw material costs to the production cost of a thing. There's n9 way it cost GW only 6 cents to get a marine mini onto a store shelf.

> because direct competition actually exists
GW has 0 competitors in space future tactics minis?

>costs of maintaining a game
Isn't that their own fault for rushing through editions though?

>Open video
>See his rotting face
>Close video
Jesus Christ, people. Use some makeup or something if you're going on camera.

>GW has 0 competitors in space future tactics minis?
GW has no compittion for Adeptus Astartes minis. There are other scifi minis but they're merely similar products. Its not the same level of competion as say perry miniatures mounted men at arms vs fireforges mounted men at arms.

ITT: some dip who who doesnt want to see GW get shit on

I mean the skill is amazing but what's even the point of putting that drawing on an eldar prism?

I don't like when people use eldar vehicles as canvas with no sense of context or fluff whatsoever.

It really doesn't, 3 cents is the cost of materials for a single mini. If you listen to the video the guy does say that when Battle of Maccrae Box Set was sold, local GW bigshot was proud they could get them to USby cost of 5 Dollars per box and then sell them 50 to 75 dollars to the clients.

The lawsuit is arguing that GW selling single minis in the the price of 30 dollars is price goucing at a highest order.

Yeah, who would paint a sexy woman on a vehicle that's going into combat? The very concept is absurd.

Eldar don't do that. They are not filthy mon'keigh.

Yet their fucking was the reason there is Eye of Terror and Slaanesh in 40k.

We know. We've known for days. Stop shilling this fucking video. You can read the official legal material for free. Why do you fucks need a video to do this for you? Kys.

>Guy buys recasts
>Guy sells recasts in FLGS
>GW finds out and says 'we are no longer selling you legit GW content or allow you to sell it in your store'
>Guy REEEEEE's and makes up a load of bollocks and shit in hoping it sticks or costs GW money to defend
>The guy believe he can stop bullets, arrows and stuff with his mind. He believes he can move objects. He teaches people this and charges them it.

>Games Workshop is being sued
by and insane man who hasn't got a clue how anything works.

>but wouldnt you make more money by selling at affordable prices so everyone can play?
People keep saying this. GW appears to think differently. But hey, what would the people sitting in the cost and sales data know?

If you can't tell the difference between nose art and "model painter mistakes the miniature for a canvas" then there isn't much hope for you.

>le everything should be cheaper because I think a LUXURY hobby should be cheaper despite people in a PROFIT DRIVEN BUSINESS have people who's job it is to find the best prices. I'll also ignore that GW is the best PPM company, with a higher quality than the cheaper companies. I'll cite other companies which are cheaper but forget their range is incredibly limited and doesn't have 40 odd factions, a novel company and a specialist company doing hundreds of models. I'll also ignore that the cheaper companies run from either single stores or online completely, while GW has HUNDREDS of stores in dozens of countries. I'll ignore that these stores need to be paid for in terms of rent, I'll ignore they need staff to man (which costs), I'll ignore the cost of shipping supplies to stock their stores. I'll ignore the taxes they have to pay. I'll ignore the fact moulds cost money to make, that model designers need to be paid to sketch the art, that people need to paid to make the model on PC. I'll ignore that they run a monthly magazine which needs staffing and printing. I'll ignore the fact they do WEEKLY updates, with all colour books and stuff for their content. I'll ignore that they also do terrain and paints and tools. I'll ignore that all of this costs. All I can see is that a bit of plastic costs $0.06 and thus a model should cost $0.06 despite a profit driven business needs to make money and all the costs in producing that model in the process.

You fucks are shitposting, right? You're not this fucking retarded, right?

If you can't tell the difference between mon'keigh scrawlings and Eldar masterpieces, then there isn't much hope for you.

Good post.

Their main autarch Asumen fucked hookers in a back alley. Granted before he became important but still.

They are just if not more degenerate as humans.

>They are in violation of English trade laws.
a)no they're not
b)even if they were the case was filed in a US court

Stop shilling your shitty video, you've already been advertising it way too much on /40kg/ as it is, no need to make a new fucking thread just to get more views.
